Lonestarcanuck
So why do Wooden frames/blocks not float? I should be able to throw them in the water along with crates and make a raft! Remember if she floats she is a witch or a wood frame.
Gamida
I am guessing for now if you could make a floating platform over deep part of lake...guess what a lot of people will be making for horde nights
Guppycur
Ah, I remember those days... you could further enhance security by having a water all, which for some reason zombies couldn't/wouldn't pass through. ...when people bitch about the pimps not fixing exploits, they probably don't realize how many HAVE been fixed. Obuthan
Since the Devs have stated water threats would be coming down the road. I’m thinking that a gator style (irradiated threat at higher game stage?) could be in the future. So even a raft would not be entirely safe.... Or zombies learn to swim.....or both. ******* Was just thinking: what about a new zombie type that is a random spawn in water? So when boats etc are added you suddenly have a hitchhiker on the port side. Plus maybe a critter that grapples you and attempts to drown you? If you can fish at a later time in the game. You might need to tie down more than just your pole lol.

Red Eagle LXIX
Joel posted something cool in twitter. Picture of the stag looks great. I've got to agree with one of the comments, that does look like an XP bar above the toolbelt. Is it?

PiercedFromWithin
Verrrrrrry minimal clutter, but clutter nonetheless. Stag looks pretty nice. Maybe a little funky on one part of the antlers, but a really nice improvement overall. Can't wait to shoot arrows through it without hitting it. Dammit, I was trying to not be a jerk! Dagzambie
Joel posted something cool in twitter. How cool would it be if the antlers are randomly different sizes and when harvesting you can take the head and put it up on a wall! And whole mounted Direwolves! If the boars were randomly sized, have your biggest as a centerpiece for the trophy room. And zombie bears...
7daysguy
That is indeed an xp bar cluttering up the screen... Why can't it appear briefly when you have 25% or 50% experience? And then maybe turn on again just before you level up. /s
Roland
I actually do object to the xp bar but not necessarily because of screen clutter. First of all, xp isn't a sense that you need to "feel" constantly. Secondly, I don't like to think about xp and leveling up until I actually level up and can spend points on perks. When I'm focused on xp gain then I act unnaturally. If you think about survival and xp gain as forces, they seem to work against each other when it comes to killing zombies. Seeing that bar go up when killing zombies is going to be a powerful force encouraging me to play the game to move that bar rather than play it to survive. Better for it to be hidden, imo. Odetta
Wait a minute here, Madmole took away the the thirst and hunger bars because he said it was "unnecessary" screen clutter, but then adds an XP bar. The double standard is strong with this one, I like his lack of style lol
