Imagine that on day 1 you meet two different bandits. The first one would hold the old iron club and the second one would have this new badass iron club. Which one would you try to avoid more likely? Where exactly did you find or make a club like our old wood club? Don't think you are going to find one, so make it? From what? A tree branch? Generally you would have to chop/whittle that using some other tool like an axe or knife. Why not just use those as a weapon in the first place? More than likely your club would be a 2x4, pipe, baseball bat, tall lamp, table leg or many other man made items. Not likely a Flintstones club. If you actually look at how big the hand grip area is where there is a strap of metal around the players hand its about 12" long or something. Its not huge. My snowball mic head would be bigger than the top crank shaft part. Its a one handed weapon. Wait til you see the steel battle axe I mean fire axe. Oh hell yes!!!
