I just posted to the Bug Pool: 7dtd won't launch after I upgraded to the latest version of MacOS.

 

I realize that running 7dtd on a Mac is a tiny minority position, but has anybody else seen this?

 

Also: a bug that previously posted now appears in the Mac bugs list, with views but no comments. That bug -- a white hole appears when a zombie gets dismembered -- persists in the latest stable version of A21.

I also remember him talking about mutated zombies that were able to uses weapons. 

 

 

 

There's a serverside mod that does this. It even has a female zombie (the nurse I think) that runs around with an arrow trying to stab you with it. Not a bow and arrows - just an arrow. It's pretty hilarious.

why there is no 7dtd mod that's going to keep serious about enemies 😭

But. I done some testing in A21 with LCB's
After clearing out a Vanity tower I put down a LCB in the middle of it at (level 5 i think?), covering it all in the bounding box, (except the lower floors)
We left that town for a couple of weeks and returned to the tower. Loot had respawned, but no zombies had respawned inside (Except one soldier which might be a bug ?)

 

This is why I'm so curious about the status of LCB's. On other POI-bases we tried building there's both a LCB and several bedrolls, but still occasionally a zombie spawns inside the area.

There is a bug right now where LCB/bed rolls dont prevent zombie respawns when they are supposed to

what mods could go on bike?

spokies - 100% chance to aggro all nearby zombies and animals

flag - +100% to visibility (ie 0% sneak)

ooga ooga horn - 10% chance nearby zombies laugh so much their head falls off

crate - extra storage, that would be nice

 

actually...

electric motor assist - x% less stamina for pedaling

bmx tyres - x% less damage

gear array - x% more speed

that thing against the bike wheel that powers a light - cant remember its name...

 

quite a few it turns out

A mod that expands the bicycle capacity like a basket would be nice 🙂

More important, will the red cup holder get gather drinkable water, but jokes aside. 

 

Would all the other vehicles get upgrades such as these, or similar depending on what sort of ..well, vehicle it is ? 

 

 

P.S. always have respected the way the game goes and always will, but I really liked it was sort of in 70`s/80`s style ,and it goes a bit into Fallout/Rust world lately.

Pretty curious where it will go till gold and how balanced all this stuff would be.

Yeah, I was actually working on a list of mods to make myself just before they released this pic, pretty close to your list. My initial thoughts were:

 

  • Saddle Bag - adds another row of storage (can stack like the drone storage mod)
  • Sport Derailleur - decreases stamina usage
  • Advanced Cassette - lighter weight so it increases overall speed
  • Mounted Headlamp - self-explanatory

Damage I couldn't care less about personally. My bike rarely gets damaged so little as it is. I thought about pedal-assist motors and that is definitely a more "modern" idea than a better derailleur. I like it!

They recently teased an updated model for the 4x4. I don't recall seeing anything for the other vehicles, but I think it's safe to assume they are working those as well. Similar to the bike, the model appears to have the ability for new vehicle mods that will actually appear on the model.

They did show concept art for the minibike during the A21 art stream, which used a toilet as the seat. Not sure if they're sticking with that however.

I made a custom Karen's Palace casino and 30 room hotel as well as a smaller Paris Casino for my custom Vegas City for my server.

 

I might think about sending them to the combopack group. I do have other ideas for more casino prefabs, too bad they don't have a slot machine model in game.
