ElCabong
They take too long. You have too many targets that you need to clear on too many levels and the radar you have only gives you a general idea of where they're at. If you're too far away your radar doesn't work at all. Danidas
In A20 hopefully they will replaced the quest menu with a tabbed one that will allow you to select missions for any tier that you have unlocked. So once you reach tier 5 you can easily go back to tier 1 to 4 missions when ever you want to. As they talked about wanting to do this a while back and were waiting to redo some of the menus to implement it.
Sjustus548
I find the tier 5 quests aren't really worth doing. They take too long for such a small reward. I can knock out multiple tier 4 quests in the time it takes to do one tier 5, I refuse to cheese the quests so that effects how long it takes me. BubbaJoe
I've never taken the time to work up to Tier 5 quests. I keep hearing about how crazy long they are, maybe this weekend I'll have to try to unlock them to see for myself.

I'm a quest fiend, and I can somewhat agree with them being a bit grindy. I personally only take them just after a hoard night so I have plenty of recovery time for materials. Being a quest fiend, I always sink at least a single point into Daring Adventurer for the additional loot choice. Makes a difference. If the point is that tier 5 quests are too grindy/boring, that's likely to be adjusted. I wouldn't say they aren't worth doing on their face, however. I think part of the issue is the loot table for the rewards is a tad too low. I think they leave them a certain way because the tier 5 locations are supposed to have some pretty hefty loot rooms as well as a ton of salvageables. If you make a few days of it, you can come away stacked for the week. Better if you cheese it and clear it once and let it respawn once you start the quest ; ) an idea that just struck me for solo play is tune up the loot abundance for you tier 5 quest, if you want it to be a bit jucier. Worrun
I've never in my 1000+ hours done a T5 Skyscraper quest, total waste of time - unless you were planning on clearing the tower anyway. Now, I mostly do T5 quests if they're Fetch 😛
pApA^LeGBa
How is dishong/higashi a waste of time? You get a ton of everything and loads of XP in one place. Crack a book is a breeze anyways. And now that not only the last location of zombies is shown with the yellow dots, the clearing really isn´t a problem anymore. It´s timeconsuming, yes. But doing small POI´s and getting the same amount of ressources and XP takes longer. I never saw a fetch only T5 quest so far in A19 btw. Wouldn´t do them anyways, the rewards aren´t as good as for clear.
meganoth
You are all a bunch of sad misguided meta-gamers who look at buildings only as a lootbox. For you TFP could as well just put rectangular cubes of differing sizes onto the map and call them POIs 😋 If only the loot interests you you might as well just farm the smallest T5 once you are on the lookout for quality 6 items, before that tier3 probably offers some of the best value for your precious grind time. And naturally a missed sleeper is a major obstacle which decreases your farm efficiency to unacceptable values. I hope there are still players around who can appreciate the design of Dishong as a building and as a dungeon. I only go into Dishong after a few (real-time) months have passed so I don't get into this state of seeing it only as a string of lootboxes. Dishong is for immersion, not for your industrial loot production. 😉
