what would you like for the fun pimps to do to 7 days to die?

 

 

 

before i start i would just like to say im mostly a console player and only have like 30 minutes total playtime on my laptopn (its not too bad i can run the game at 720p at all high settings with no issues with the exeption of consistant frame skipping)

 

 

 

a new console update! so this is a no brainer for me xD but seriously i know this was developed by a different developer that ported 7dtd on consoles but i would love to see a new updated game. its completely under developed on consoles atm

 

much better animations. ngl, i don't mind the current graphics this game has, sure maybe some nicer textures or shapes/ models but honestly to me, i think the animations need the most work.

 

a bit more colour. i just hate games that are extremely grim in colour, i realise that an apocalypse would be all sunshine and rainbows but making the world look completely grey makes it a bit ugly

 

more weapons? like swords or maybe weapon mods like in dying light/dead island

I want more traps (Hydraulic press traps to smush zombies, anti dog traps (Like cages you can catch them in) Zombie Baits, more angles to use the dart trap (I've always wanted to angle them downwards at a 45 degree angle to shoot diagonally down a ramp shaft, please give me this! )

 

Ability to create Geothermal power sources to power battery banks, you would need to create and design your own well system and a way to implement these would be best by having them build in a way we can heat the water using something like forges and campfires)

 

Ability to create Lightning rods which can be used to harvest natural electricity or used to direct down into areas as a trap.

 

Ability to mount a turret on 4x4 so passenger player can shoot. (SMG/AK/Rocket Launcher)

 

Ability to actually mount certain weapons into a Tripod which would effectively eliminate recoil. (Rocket launcher/SMG/AK/Sniper are good choices for this )

 

 

Creation of Siege weapons (Mortars, Fire/Explosive/Acid Ect)

 

MIRVS- (Multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle)

 

New Gun- Grenade Launcher- Incendiary Rounds, Grenade Rounds, Flame Rounds, Acid Rounds)

 

New Weapon - grenades, which can be incendiary grenades, or standard shrapnel.

 

New weapon- REMOTE and Proximity MINES, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE ME THIS. I am so sick of shooting dynamite as a way to set off the charges. You can use Motion sensors to craft proximity and a switch to create remote ones!

 

New Weapon- Minigun - Very heavy, intended to be mounted onto a tripod for static base defense, however certain players with enormous STR Stat may be able to wield them without. Very Heavy, equipping it will prevent the player from being able to run.

 

Poison bullets for PVP which would debilitate enemy players.

 

New Turret- Mini Rocket Launcher-

New Turret- Crossbow Turret- Shoots different types of crossbow ammo.

 

New Trap- Saw blade Trap - Shoots more lethal saw blades or shuriken (Like Dart trap )at a slower rate but more damage.

Ability to paint all traps and turrets so they blend.

 

New Trap- Bear Trap with tether- Used exactly what its said for, but works well on zombies and other players too, can be painted to match terrain, shooting them or hitting with a tool or weapon will cause them to trigger, trigger traps can be reset or picked up.

 

If a player is rooted by a bear trap they get a broken leg, and must use a tool to break the trap, they can still walk a short distance if in the trap as per the tether permits.

 

New Trap- Trip wire Explosive- Mounts grenades or dynamite to a trip wire, which will detonate when the trip wire is walked through.

 

Ability to fit turrets and dart traps with mods, and use different types of ammo.

 

 

New Item Quality- Perfect Quality - Can only be found, never created.

 

New Weapon- Sword - Better than the machete, uses less stam than the Sledge Hammer, cannot be used to harvest.

New Armor- Shield- can use to block zed from attacking you/blocking attacks will drain stamina,

 

Support Weapon- Whip- Use to strike at a zombies legs to yank them to the ground.

 

Support Item- Grappling Hook- Propels player a small distance with a cooldown.

 

Support Item- Rope- Can be placed to allow players to slide down shafts very quickly, but climbing up still takes time.

 

New Farm Food- Cranberry, used to make cranberry juice and pie, the juice will help fight infections and hydrate you, the pie will give you fullness.

 

New Enemy type- The Disfigured- Parasites spill out of its body when its dismembered which will crawl towards any players and attempt to infect them, players must drink a salve to kill the parasites or they become very sick and eventually die, they come in tiny swarms, best to use incendiary weapons to destroy them (Like molotov) They can crawl through iron bars and arrow slits ect.

 

Updated Graphics- Zombie Dog

Updated Enemy Type- Feral Zombie Dog - Much faster than standard Zombie Dog.

 

New Perk- Piercing Shots- Chance to pierce through targets and hit multiple zed at once.

 

New enemy Ability- Class -Screamer- Will screech so loudly it deafens the player, the initial screech is so loud it stuns you in place like a root and causes your eyes and ears to bleed, causing damage, this would mean killing them by range is safer than killing by melee/blunt, and including them into hordes would be lethal and make killing BM hordes in the street very very dangerous.

 

New zombie progression --> Normal-->Feral-->Radiated---> Mutated

 

Mutated zombies are stronger and have special abilities.

i'd love an OBJ... A wery difficult one that would end the story. Like building a boat or an elicopter to run away in a safe place, but the vehicle parts are in the midle of a city full of the most terrible and difficult zombies, a place where the player is forced to go wery well organised and full of weapons, medicine and fullarmored and even like that it wouldnt make it that easy. An OBJ that would be the reason wy im building a super base and getting orginised with tones of weapons and bullets.... Thats becouse after a while we set up a good base the orde isnt enough to get some adrenaline. If they will implement a really difficult OBJ that would make my day!

1) A reason to loot after day 25 when I have everything at top tier and a chest full of mods.

 

2) A reason to do more than one or two playthroughs of the game now I know I will get the exact same items at the same level, every single run (thanks to woefully designed perks).

 

3) Zombie AI that does not render horde night utterly boring.

 

4) A sword

Yeah, these things are pretty important/basic imo and currently the game doesn't address them properly. Need more chase items/resource sinks, better lootlists and some randomization.

More weapons, More enemy variety, randomized enemies. Poi variety now we got a ton, just needs some better rwgmixer wizardry to make it really good. Graphically the game is better than its ever been. Most importantly though:

 

OPTIMIZATIONS

 

The game admittingly runs kinda like ass for the graphics it has, but it is a alpha so I personally gave it a pass on this, but with a18 coming which might be beta1, I hope we see some huge performance gains.

 

I'd love a grappling hook as mentioned in the OP post, was a zombie game that had it I think it was dying light, and it was an amazging tool once you unlocked it. Had a decently long cooldown as well so you can't just spam it too.

Pretty much this - though i'd trade sword with bandits.

 

Bandits are needed badly to get proper balance started and start fleshing out the mechanics.

traps that give you XP

 

Active defense or no exp for you.

And who would be getting the exp?

Buildings and traps aren't assigned to anyone, would one who placed them get exp? Would one in proximity?

Too many problems.

 

You either defend actively and get the exp or defend passively with no effort/resource spent and just get loot bags.

I would add trucks, buses, more vehicle variety in general, better and bigger RWG (like in A16) but with ability to import pre-made maps or hand-craft them in a simple way, and last but not least water life, islands, boats, rafts, ships. I'd be glorious.

 

To those asking for a reason to loot after day 25 I'd suggest them to use tools already in the game like: Loot Abundance.

Make days shorter (40-50min), make zombies jog or run during the day, make their damage feral, set the dificulty to insane. Adventurer or nomad settings are a walk in the park right now. You have the tools to make the game more challenging. Use them.

I've been thinking about this as well.

 

 

Boats/rafts/floating blocks

 

Steam workshop integration for sharing/ adding new POI prefabs easily.

 

More item MODS esp for cars etc - eg extra seats in 4x4 but reduce storage space would be number one

(we've added xml code for extra seats on the motorbike and on the 4x4 but it would be nice to have this as a mod with a trade off in benefits.)

 

 

A few more animal types.

A Plot that grows with the player and can create plot based on player actions, especially constant player behavior:

 

-Attacking a faction - enemy faction likes you more, attacked faction retaliates.

-Player with high skills or large amounts of resource: Traders and factions willing to pay for supplies/services.

-Reputation system based on players actions to groups.

1. Better wiring: stop treating wiring like a tree structure, and more like an actual electrical circuit: allow circular and parallel wiring. Also allow relays to be powered by multiple power sources. Simple is better, and it would make electric fence wiring less...stupid.

 

2. Remote explosives: claymore mines, plastic explosives etc.

 

3. Shooting from vehicles for passengers.

 

4. Thermal goggles.

 

5. Armour piercing rounds, or an AP mod for guns.

For each difficulty level to be like a modded game on its own.

 

This could allow for hardcore players to play hardcore with all the nerfs

they require, and not step on the toes of happy-go-lucky players.

 

Top difficulty would have very few options. You want it rough, you'll get it.

Medium would be more for builders, and current builds.

Easy would be more like minecraft.

Maybe even add a "directors cut".

More decorative blocks for builders

 

Quests like escort a courier to another trader or bring something to another trader as a possibility to discovery new traders

 

Mods specific for the auger, the chainsaw and the nail gun to increase speed, block damage, durability, magazine size or harvest count
