  1. I want to build a concrete ramp, but there are no rebar frame ramp blocks anymore. So how do I make ramps now?
  2. I like the new farm plot. You need a bit time to get enough rotten flesh to craft them (could be a bit easier to obtain them), but overall I think they add a bit difficulty to farming. There is only one part about food in general I don't like at the moment: You are always better off with canned food because it doesn't give you food poisoning. I really don't know why I would get food poisoning from baked potatoes and in real life it's healthier to eat selfmade food than canned sh*t. I am by no means a good cook, but I got never food poisoning from food that I cooked. It's somewhat annoying to think about if it's worth to eat a grilled meat. But besides this I like it how it is.
  3. Since A18 I'm getting screamers on my small base every few minutes. I hear them, kill them, kill the small horde, go back in my base... only to go out again to fight the next screamers (they tend to travel in packs it seems). I'm at day 11 now, level 35 and game stage 50. I've 2 forges running and a chemistry station, that's all. Do I really want to know how many screamers I'll get when my base is bigger? Unfortunately I can't ignore them because my base is actually too small to ignore the damage to my walls. I really want to build on my base and go mining, but I can't because of the screamers. Even when I leave my base, when I get back I see 3 screamers hanging around and punching my walls. Am I the only one who has to deal with so many screamers?
  4. It depends on the situation. Overall, I like the M60 very much. Great weapon against bigger hordes and the sound is awesome! For short range combat and breaching doors the shotgun is fun (especially breaching doors is fun, if you have the right ammo). But I also love to deliver precision shots with the hunting rifle. In previous versions the huntiing rifle was my standard weapon in first horde nights. In A18 you don't really need it, because you find AK-47 with lots of ammo right at the start. Never liked the sniper rifle though. My allround rifle is the AK-47 with ext. mag, silencer and reflex sight. It's quiet useful in every situation and you can clear POIs with it silently. If you equip it with 2x or 4x scopes, you have an automatic sniper rifle Headshot damage is good enough. Oh, I really want to have a cannon!. Would love to duel myself with a buddy with a cannon from tower to tower
  5. A bit offtopic, but has anyone tried to shoot the aircraft down yet?
  6. I'm experimenting with this tool a bit and I love it so far But since I'm not a native English speaker, I need a hint on what is the setting "cracks" for? Google translator did confuse me even more
  7. I really never cared about infection. The moment you find a pill shop or a hospital, infection will never be an issue to you. There is no need to die by purpose.
  8. B149 changelog states: "Updated PREGEN01-03", but it doesn't explain what was updated. Does anyone know what was updated on these maps? Was terrain/roads fixed? Is it worth to restart my game on one of the pregen maps? Or is the update only minor?
  9. B149 changelog states: "Updated PREGEN01-03" What was updated on these maps? Is it worth to restart my game on one of these maps? Or is the update only minor?
  10. I noticed that I lost one point of maximum stamina and HP when I got killed in horde night. Is this by design? Will you always lose one point when you get killed?
  11. First of all, I love A18! You guys did a great job! But I'm interested in what we can expect from random world generation in the future. You did big changes to RWG. Do you plan on finetuning it or is this considered to be the final update to it for at least the next Alphas? I'm asking because RWG is in my opinion the part of change I'm not happy with currently. I always played on RWG maps, because I didn't like the proportions of the biomes in Navezgane. Too much wasteland and burnt forest, not enough forest. Navezgane also had no interesting cities and was a bit boring. I like to explore random maps and I liked that there were several biomes of the same type and not only one desert biome, one forest biome, ect. There was one small time period with A17, where there were so many and too small biomes, but that got fixed in the later A17.x versions as far as I know. This is the issue I have with RWG right now: I tested a few maps (all 3 pregen maps and a few of own gens) and I need to say... they all look the same. The only surprise is where the biomes exactly are laying. There is only one big biome of every type. Only one small strip of forest, but too much burnt forest and wasteland (my opinion). Cities only have a few interesting POIs now and the areas outside of cities are empty. Where did all the interesting POIs go that I've found on Random gen maps in the past? You only stay out of town to get to the next town. There is nothing to do except of cutting trees. Oh, and before I forget, there are way too much hills to feel comfortable. I think this is the most important part about my problem with RWG right now. In the A17.x versions you fixed the problem with roads. In the past they didn't look like roads (too steep, did zigzags ect.), but that was fixed in the late A17 versions and I was relieved about that. But it seems that A18 brought the road issues back. So, to coclude I think A18 is a great update. But I'm not too happy about RWG right now and I hope that there will be worked on again (or further). Thank you for reading
  12. I've Tourette's, too. I can't laugh about that joke, I don't think it's funny, but it really doesn't trigger me. There definitely are jokes you shouldn't do, and some will offend me (for example it's not funny to show off bad habits and then explain it with Tourette's that you don't have. Tourette's is not a free pass to do stupid things and get away with it). But this is not one of them. So if some guys think it's funny, let them laugh. It doesn't make fun about tics, it's just a pun. I really don't need to feel hurt because of every joke related to Tourette's. In the end, the most important ability when you live with Tourette's is to step back a bit and laugh about yourself. Life is really not easy sometimes. But if you can't laugh about yourself, you will have an even harder time.
