Hey guys

 

Can anyone download the Slums from Pikero v1.8 PLEASE for me ??

Or does anyone have the original DL-zip ???

I was able to download this file: pikero_slum_1.8a.zip. However, Windows doesn't recognize it as a valid file so I don't think it will be of any use to you. I can get it to you anyway if you want to try and figure it out?

thx for this argeos - this is ecactly what i wanted :)

 

also thx to Dagzambie - seems u have the same Issue like me with this DL-file !!!

 

However - now I got it. Will see what that is - and what it could do good to the COMPOPACK :)

It will need some changes to sit nicely in RWG but I am very impressed ;)

 

Really like the use of the road decals to get the yellow lines, had no idea that was possible and is exactly what I was looking for in my custom hub layout :)

FYI, the road decals don't play nicely with prefab rotations. Keep that in mind if you plan to rotate your prefabs. :)

shouldn't be a problem if I keep the rotate to 0 or 2, and use the EW and NS version as required :)

Ok seriously, does anyone ave any idea why i can not use this pack AT ALL. Every single game i start runs fine for a biome change or two and then it crashes and corrupts my save. If i can get back onto the game the world will not load. This has happened in the hub city and in a plains biome. The error is above in a previous post. Since this is happening every single time i cant be the only one. and if i am i would love to know why. I went back to pack 8 and have had no issues, it is only with pack 9. Pack 9 looks absolutely amazing and I would love a chance to be able to play this.

 

if anyone has any ideas or has any tips please feel free. this was installed on a fresh copy of vanilla. Thank you so much for anyone that might be able to help. My rwg and error file are above

Are you sure its a clean install?

 

I see a lot of SX2DX references in the output log which wouldnt be there on a clean install. My guess is something from that is interfering.

 

Rename your game folder and do a complete reinstall and add nothing except the prefabs and rwgmixer and see if it still happens.

Did you start the game with sd2dx? If so you need to make a mod file out of the rwgmixer.

 

 

 

I'm only on mobile so I couldn't Check you files......

 

the first time yes i did, but this second set of errors was done without any mods and through vanilla with no sd2dx launcher. so it happened both ways.

Ok, I made a clean install and put the pack in, ran around for a full day and had no errors. Used VanillaTest as the seed like in your outputlog.

 

I went to the hub at -1400 -1400 ish where you started to get errors and was fine, also flew around several other hubs and followed a few roads to check on PoI's.

 

Only other thing I can think of is reinstall .net or graphics drivers, but I'm not sure that would help at all.

 

Was there anything specific you were doing when the errors start?

Wow this is crazy, lucky me right? I was flying over the area loading in different biomes. I didnt do anything special really. It did load a LOT of the area without any issues. It appeared to be a wasteland city perhaps that i was approaching. It happened right as the fog hit the screen.

 

I thank you for all the help. I will reinstall graphic drivers and .net as suggested and try again.

ok so i reinstalled, i updated all graphic drivers and started vanilla 7 days with the prefab. flew for 20 minutes with no errors.

 

then i tried my other 7 days that has zombie and weapon skins installed and uses sd2dx manager. This works perfectly with pack 8, but now it errored instantly with pack 9.

 

So im going to assume it is not the pack necessarily and something in the sd2dx files i installed, to which i now ask Pacco when he gets a chance if he can check this file and see if he sees anything that may be causing a conflict with the prefab pack. These are the files from the game with prefab pack 9 and the sd2dx mod installed.

Hey Jax, couldn´t find the problem in these files, found the error, but for me it sounds like a lootgroup or an item is missing, would you send me the mod you´re running?? Maybe I find the problem there...

i had fixed alot of error with this pack by simple not using the mixer. using a older one or your own and then adding in the new prefabs is how i got it to work.

 

Ok, i will attempt to do this but as usual i will probably mess it up. is that file you speak of included with your download? Meaning does this use pack 9 or an older one. BTW I feel i must tell you it was your initial 17 version of DTD7 that first got me motivated to mod. I love everything you added and changed.

I installed it "Vanilla" also and don't have any issues. Really loving the new version.

 

No, my spawning seems to be just fine. Granted I play with a much higher number of zeds spawning. (server is set to 150) Still, I have not noticed any decrease, or any change that is noticeable.
