Streamers are allowed to play multiplayer with people of their choosing. The rule isn't that they can't share the password with those who will be playing with them, the rule is that those people cannot stream on their own channels. Not streaming, of course. There are two realities at play here: Most who are playing MP will play all weekend together so even if they could play solo they will most likely want to play with their friends and do it that way. "Here is all this cool stuff that we are going to let these people play before you and ruin all the potential mystery for you." Maybe I'm one of the few that actually likes to play the game while I'm watching the content creators I like play it. Doing it this way is just annoying because now I have to avoid all social media around the game because everyone is just going to ruin everything. Usually they don't fix the bug the same day someone reports it, it would hardly make a difference. But I'm not really complaining, its just "unfortunate". Just like I saw performance issues today in downtown areas and debugged it and made some improvements. Needs more work, so I'll continue tomorrow, to hopefully go in a Sunday build to be ready for Monday. Its amazing you guys are in that code fine tuning at the same time as the streamers play. But I guess that's one of the reasons Streamers play test first.
