lug
the first 2 rwg maps i played with had none of the past troubles; roads i traveled were fine and no poi duplication madness in cities. many thanks, TFP.
Shin
After reading up on the changes and fixes... I don't care. load of minor bugfixes, rwg that is still not as good as 16.x, added more cheat options, canged sun and mood movement... and so on Only real improvement tp me is closer quests. But thats not good enough for me to load a new game.
BadGamerKat
I'm liking it a lot and so far the random world gen is fine. I'm having fun with this!
zootal
My first map was 16K, and as near as I can tell, there are no roads at all. Just a bunch of cities splattered here and there, and no roads or POIs outside of the city. I'm not sure if I have a bad seed or just a bad map gen run. I'm going to try a few more seeds. What makes this difficult is that if I try to preview the map, it churns and churns and about the time it finishes, the client crashes so I never get to see what the map looks like. I might post a bug report on this if I can get some meaningful logs.
canadianbluebeer
16k map, 14m 26 sec to generate. prefabs file: 2.1 MB LOTS of cities. seed: Starbuck so RWG is much, much faster. had to tweak the biome percentages, still too much patchwork quilt (hate)

AtomicUs5000
Is it just me or is look sensitivity really sensitive? I had to turn mine down to 20%. I don't remember ever having to set it that low. It really doesn't matter to me as long as I can get the setting I need... but I thought it was weird. Anybody else getting this?
BunBun
I noticed that this "Crafting speed bonus and mod slots do not properly apply to workstations after being closed", which has been listed in the "Known Issues" section for a while, is now missing from this update's "Know Issues". But I don't see it listed in any of the fixes either. Any one know if it has been addressed??

Scyris
Hmmm...head popped (no, not mine ) with STR = 1. -Morloc I went up to one of those fat tourist zombies with a iron reinforced club and its head went splat on my first hit. Looks like all weapons have a small chance to insta dismember, I actually blew off a zombies arm with a club hit as well.

Ask yourself this, "Have you ever swung for the fences on a Turkey carcass that has been sitting outside for a month?" I imagine the result is pretty similar to a zombie. All those ligaments and joints are ready to pop... But somehow they still can dig through solid stone with their finger tips. Hmmm a really fun feature would be for every block a zombie destroys it must sacrifice a limb. By the time they got to you in your base it would be a flood of crawlers coming at your with a stack of able bodied in tow. That would be horrific

That would be horrific Oh I wasn't complining about it at all, I actually loved it, I miss this stuff from a16. Shot one zombie with a comp bow and a stone arrow from a extreme range, and hit em in the leg and blew his leg off, I just started laughing my ass off like an idiot when I seen it happen. You have no idea how much more fun this game has gotten with the dismemberment back.

Just shoot off both legs and both arms and the can not move anymore but still lives.

Khulkhuum
Welp, gonna get back to knives, as they have a bit higher dismemberment chances if i recall...

Unsure, I checked items.xml to find info on dismemberment chances but I didn't see any on clubs at least, so its either in another xml or part of the main dll itself. AlyssaFaden
I've been liking the tweaks in 17.3 quite a bit, although the night time spooky sound playing every 15 ingame minutes is a tad too much
