By using Tin's code found in this thread, and modify my rwgmixer.xml with it,

i was able to generate this map. Kept a backup of the original xml file just in case.

 

4k.

3-4 traders.

Did work somewhat for 8k too, but the radiation zone seemed messed up. Could

be because of trying to generate the 8k without restarting 7d2d.

With b240, same as A17 stable, there are no longer as many traders with RWG updates otherwise a ton of POIs:

What a nightmare the random gen is on stable!!

 

Agree, my roads are like mountain climbs and have to nerd pole up them plus POIs cut into terrain.

Its a known issue, so far Tin has offered hope and perhaps he can further improve the RWG for 8k, link.

 

Also, you could try terrain modifier mod, link.

Would someone check out the center city in this seed? Yamato

 

It looks pretty nice but I haven't been playing long enough to know better. It's 2 cities together with the southern city an industrial area and the northern city looks all residential. There are also 2 traders close by to the southwest. No skyscrapers that I can see so far. Lot of crazy roads. LOL. Saw some nice places for some Evel Kinivel jumps.

I spawned right in next to a huge shotgun messiah, first time I have come across one. Also in between 2 traders less than 1km from each other. I only see 5 Traders in the XML though not 8, still a great seed though thanks for sharing!

The B240 has sadly only 5 traders

And i guess you started in the middle east, nice spot i plan to build my base.

Look in the pic above, one trader is in a wasteland biome (the very north one) and one is near a wasteland biome.

 

There is no need to build your base direct in front of a trader, 20 Seconds on the minibike is no real issue.

Besides that

Wasteland base = many dogs = many bones

 

But if you got a decent seed with comparable much citys please share it.

Until then my edited Afterlife is the best i know.

There's another trader 2km to the south of the dual traders. That makes 3 of the 5 traders in the SW. You have 5 large cities in the SW. Is it better than Afterlife? That's not the issue. What's good for one isn't good for another. But you'll never know which one you like better until you try both.

I'm really liking my "Night of the Living Dead" seed. I spawned in to a rough area with bears and dogs but the trader is in a green biome and has a working forge, working cement mixer, and working tool bench. There's a town right near the trader with a gun store, bear den, apartment complex and lots of other cool POI's. I haven't explored it much but am loving what I've seen so far.
