  1. I assume they first did dig downwards otherwise they would have been stuck at middle of the ladder height. So they principally are able to dig down but some bug must have stopped them. If you know of a way to replicate it with high probability, write it down and make a bug report.
  2. Have you followed the recent discussion about INT in the dev diary? If not, you might read up on the pro and contra arguments first. Crafting a stun baton on day 1 will be possible in A20 because they added scrap versions for most weapons, including batons. Secondly, ranting will not make your argument stronger. You did not show how your reasoning goes from noncraftable or weak baton to 2-3 weak playable with no depth. Int is supposed to be a class with weak offensive abilities and being more difficult to master. Probably the best strategy is to use unperked weapons of other classes and the otherwise unusable ammo for them to bolster your damage output while using perked turrets and baton
  3. Even if someone on that stream had said anything about a narrower time frame that would have been just a wild guess that would have been shown to be wrong two weeks later. They don't know themselves until 1 week before the date when simply their patience runs out to postpone another week (this may be a guess, but I would bet you a heap of money I'm very near to the truth). And this is not because they are unorganized or sloppy developers, this is simply because the release date of an experimental is unimportant to them. Much much less important than say a showstopper bug left in the game You and everyone else here will get to know the date about a week before. Therefore I can tell you it won't be this weekend.
  4. How could I forget that? Policemen and Acid spitting is like two sides of a coin !
  5. I don't think the eyebar is influenced by bloodmoon as there still could be normal roaming zombies who would not see you in stealth. But I could be wrong. The logfile does not show any lines where bloodmoon zombies are spawned (there would have to be lines in the log with "INF BloodMoonParty:"). So any zombies you have seen then would be normal area zombies. Consequently they did not see you from farther away. You can test the theory that your gamestage is too low by simply opening the console with F1 and entering giveselfxp 1000 until you are at say gamestage 10 or more, which should definitely generate bloodmoon zombies. If you still get no lines with "BloodMoonParty" in your log then your savegame is definitely borked. Please tell us the result of this test. I would think no bloodmoon zombies at all even at a very low gamestage would have to be considered a bug. It even says so in the log that gamestage 2 should spawn 3 bloodmoon zombies
  6. You might get better results asking modding questions in the modding section (in "Discussion and Requests") Generally there is no acid in the game, but I would guess you simply mean damage-over-time like bleed. Bleed is implemented as a buff, check buffs.xml.
  7. Concratulations on putting the spikes into the ground, even some experienced players get that wrong. Spikes rows without gaps would be even better, that stone path in front might be too much of an invitation. This community is very helpful and will shower you with advice and optimal base builds if you just ask. But that is the worst thing that can happen to you because you will never have the fun and feel of accomplishment of finding out what works in the game for yourself. So I agree with Gazz, don't look further but simply try out your base. Never ask for general advice, ask when you can't find a solution to something specific.
  8. Roland talked about this just 9 hours ago
  9. There are two things deliberately done by the game designers AFAIK: 1) strength as the entry level beginners attribute is easiest to play, with the best weapon selection in the game and best resource perks as well. 2) Int is supposed to be weaker at fighting than other classes. If we just look at weapons it is roughly Str > For > Agi, Per > Int . What does that mean: 1) It is no surprise you can play a str build in a higher difficulty and have difficulties with all other attributes (maybe except for Fortitude because you get ammo too easy so its disadvantage of high ammo costs and subpar melee never really surfaces early enough to be relevant) 2) ALL attributes look bad when compared to Str. The solution, if desired, would not be to make INT weapons better but to make Str weaker 3) If you always compare Int to Str weapons only but never allow Int to use the strategy where it works best by using whatever off attribute weapon you have ammo for in combination with turrets and baton, then that comparison is stacked against it three times. As single player you have tons of ammo for other guns, if you use them even without perking into them you have an easy time and don't need to perk into miner at all As co-op multiplayer you could easily go into pois with your co-op player and let them use the ammo while you can easily stun zombies and have the turrets stay as safety a little behind where they don't use much ammo. Also you then usually have a miner in the group who can supplement your scrap ammo diet.
  10. I have never tried putting the pusher turrets directly on the access way for fear the zombies might attack the pusher. Do they just jump over it?
  11. I have it on good authority (a shaman in Papua New Guinea) that November 26 will be the day. On the other hand MechanicalLens has found out via a friend of a friend sitting in the Vatican that it will be November 19, but he wants to keep it a secret and tries to distract with talk about "nasty rumors". There is a rumor that the G7 states have intervened and demand TFP to not publish before Dezember. I have no information whether TFP will comply to this. A well respected medium tried an ouija board and actually came up with November 12, but reading of a goose liver revealed the ghost to be a prankster.
  12. There is no real single player anymore. SP is just MP with one player only.
  13. Even their guestimates have always been pretty forward ... reaching into the future. 😇
  14. Changing from novice to pro involves reading the logfile as the first step of any problem solving. 😉. Generally if you remove a mod, that mod could already have added assets into the game which after removing the mod are referenced somewhere but there isn't any code which knows what to do with it. I would assume a much saver way to remove mods is disabling whatever they do in the xml they usually add. For example if a mod adds a buff, remove any effect activations inside the buff's definition but not the buff itself.
  15. I guess the barbed wire fences were created because a designer thought a bit too literally "I would love to see X" 😉
  16. I think I read that last year another tribe was discovered there that had not been in contact with "civilization" before. If they have a dish now it must mean they got the super saver deal with premium credit (payed with organ donations or the souls of descendants). I hope they didn't accept the blankets edition "smallpox deluxe"
  17. Send it to one of the indigenous people in Papua New Guinea and they could actually not be able to activate the game 😉
  18. I would suggest this: Perks that already randomly got points have a higher chance to be re-selected. Say 5 times more often for every point in them already. Would make sure you still concentrate your points on specific perks. If you also don't want to spread perk points into all attributes a similar scheme could make perks more likely to be selected in attributes where already points were sunk in. And if a perk is selected but at the momentary maximum because of a too low attribute the next points go into the corresponding attribute until that perk gets its point.
  19. On windows wireshark is the best-known network sniffer. It should be no problem getting his ip address with it.
  20. Oh right, my bad. With long running discussions one can get confused and forgetful. Naturally this is pointless. Your nitpick was, my nitpick of your nitpick as well, and our discussion which nitpick is less grounded in reality. 😉
  21. You didn't say if it is a rented server with restricted access or a server under your full control. You also didn't mention if it is a windows, mac or lInux server. So can only give general advice: Use a network sniffer and if the bot uses the same IP address or IP address subnet then simply block that address or that subnet with a firewall. Also possible is to use a different port for the server. This will throw off a bot, but a human might make the effort to scan for open ports. If it is a rented server with restricted access. changing the port might be your only recourse. Also you could inform server operators as that bot is likely scanning lots of servers operated by them.
  22. I am allowed joke observations too. Notice the smiley on that post. I think I got my a** covered 😇
  23. Its a small stretch but with saying that only the minority likes to play INT you made yourself the speaker for a majority proclaiming: "We don't want to play INT". PS: Linux user here. We might reach the 10 in this forum alone. 😉
  24. Isreael and 1982, 22kg drone. https://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/How-Israel-became-a-leader-in-drone-technology-595209 (I don't know when it became "common" knowledge, but I would say 30-40 years is a long time to keep something secret.) Here is the quote from Victorious, where does it say common knowledge? Since we are talking about moving goal posts.
