Hello! i've try to fix my game after an error ''exc exception incorrect region file header (...)'' and I deleted the corrupted file, restarted the game and then the game has restarted to day 1, but I kept all the stuff in my inventory, my stats and my vehicles, but the house that we built arround other house has been clean as his original state. I know that it's very difficult to backup everything, but days before I made an backup from the folder, so i want to know if I can use that folder to have my world back. Thanks!

The goal with this mod is to give the entire 7 Days to Die user interface an extreme makeover an refashion it into how I believe the user interface for the game should be experienced. SMX consist of several modlets which can be broken down into three separate mods: SMXhud, SMXmenu and SMXui. These are all stand alone and can be used separately or, as is the intention, together with the other two and all three mods combined is what makes the SMX experience complete! In addition we have the core, the main modlet if you will, SMXlib. This is a library modlet and even though it makes very little changes on its own it holds all the assets that the other mods need to function. Because of this it is a mandatory modlet that will need to be downloaded and installed no matter which of the other ones you choose to use. SMX tries to create an experience as close up towards the vanilla user interface as possible. With little to no changes that can disrupt the balance of the game. The only exception being the extra slot on the crafting queue which is there to make the design fit and hardly disrupts game balance! Then we have the optional modlets. We are aware that some people want the extra bling bling, and as such we offer these as optional downloads that can be installed alongside the main modlets from each series to expand upon the features from vanilla. We offer official optional downloads such as: Target Health Bar, Bigger Bags and a Third Forge Slot. Other optional modlets and compatibility patches might become available from other mod authors. We hope you will enjoy playing 7 Days to Die with the new experience that SMX brings to the table. Pick one and stick with it as we do monitor all of them and having to answer the same thing on several sites just leads to confusion. // INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL PROCEDURES // First and foremost, the most important thing you need to do with SMX in A20: >> !!TURN OFF EAC!! << Backup your save game before installing ANY mods to the game. We don't expect SMX to cause any issues, it is just good practice! Download the mod or mods you want to install from the list below. Decompress the downloaded files with WinRAR or a compatible compression software like 7zip. Copy or move the Mods folder you just decompressed into your 7 Days to Die installation folder. Overwrite if prompted. Verify your install by checking that the ModInfo.xml file is located in this Hierarchy: "\Mods\modletname\ModInfo.xml" Remove by deleting the modlet folder in question from within the Mods folder. // DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS // SMX modlets can be downloaded from Nexusmods (our main site) or GitHub. Alternatively it can be installed via the 7 Days to Die Mod Launcher by sphereii. When opting to use Nexusmods or GitHub you will have to do the installation manually by following the procedure above. When opting to use the Mod Launcher the installation procedure will be more automated but you will need to make sure that all the different modlets are installed as you won't get nested downloads like from the other two. Please note that the Mod Launcher is a separate piece of software that you will need to download and install on your system and then setup properly before downloading mods and modlets with it. Everything you see on the interface while running around in the game world is part of the HUD experience. The purpose of SMXhud is to change that part of the user interface and change it into a more horror like and gritty art style all while trying to be as informative as possible but not intrusive. SMXhud - The Base HUD conversion. ZMXhudCPTHB - Enables the Target Health Bar for SMXhud. (Install optional modlet ZMXhudCPTHB to get the target health bar) // SMXmenu - THE MENU REPLACEMENT MODLET // SMXmenu changes the game menus. Everything you see when you start the game or when navigating the different options and settings is part of the menu experience. (Install optional modlet ZMXuiCPTFS to get the third forge slot and ZMXuiCPBBM to get the bigger backpack) SMXui - Totally reworked skills windows. The goal was to make it look like a talent screen.   5. Hello, I am researching for a blog post on the game and after browsing Reddit, I saw where someone said they found a searchable tree. Is this a bug or not? I THINK I remember a dev stream where they showed it off, but I could be remembering it wrong. Any help would be appreciated.   7. Has anyone had an issue with storage containers not dropping the contents if they are destroyed by collapsing? I accidentally made all of my writable storage boxes collapse and I noticed only my secure storage chests spawn a blue backpack while other forms of storage did not, which unfortunately cost me my run. Is this intended? If not, does anyone know of a modlet that patches this issue. Edit: It seems like the class assigned to writable storage boxes (SecureLootSigned) does not behave like the secure storage chests and the regular storage boxes which have the class "SecureLoot". It seems like this can be fixed by changing the class value, but by default most containers do not drop backpacks if collapsed, including player created containers that have had their locks broken. This is due to most containers and broken secure containers having the "Loot" class, which does not generate a backpack if the containers has been destroyed via fall event, or collapsing. This seems to be hardcoded but I do not know if it's possible to just change the class value from "Loot" to "SecureLoot" Furthermore, any container with the "SecureLoot" tag that hasn't been opened, such as POI locked containers, will not drop a backpack since the container has not yet generated loot.

  9. Having some issues with missing buildings, I've tried clearing game data and reinstalling but sadly no luck! Most cities I reach are missing most buildings but I can see where the buildings and plots should be. Tried launching in Navezgame to be sure it wasn't an issue with random gen worlds but seems to be consistent.
  10. I want to be able to make a few simple things in a world using the world editor. However, they don't show when I load the map up into a game. Do I have to use prefabs for everything that isn't dirt to make them show up?
  11. I play on the hardest difficulty; Nightmare mode, extra zombie block damage and so on. I find that Keeping my hunger satiated is only difficult sometimes during the early game. After early game with a few perks I can live off of boiled meat and never need to worry about the hunger side of survival (can make huge stockpiles of food). I know that better foods grants some extra benefits, but its not much of a boost, and the entire hunger system can be completely ignored. What can be done to create a well scaled food system? Ideas: Food spoilage? Refrigeration? Drying racks (making leather/jerky)? (adds more electrical uses) Food can spoil slower or quicker depending on what kind of storage their in... Macro nutrient importance (Protein,carbs,fats)? The more balanced diet the better you can recover/level. Early game foods yield low macronutrients and only one type of macronutrient. Late game foods yield high variety of macronutrients, are hard to come by, and challenging to craft.
  12. Hi. I cant generate a random world. Ever played only SP. Only possible to play navezgane and pregen worlds. I have validated the files on steam multiple times, reinstalled the game and even windows. Im trying to paste the logs in pastebin and justpaste but its not working only opening a new tab. Please help and thank you.

Including Pedal Bike New Base Ball Bat Quest. "Survival Of Da Noob" Da Noobinator Base Ball Bat. Super Fast swings never degrades. 500% XP And Loot No Bag Drop Increased Starter Quest XP and Points SMS Standard Rules: No Player Killing, No Base Raiding, No Stealing. Do not build in or takeover Points of interest. ( poi ) Defined ( poi meaning ) Gun Stores, Food Stores, Health Stores, Tool Stores, Electronic Stores, Hospitals, Garden Stores, Any Huge Factories or Mills. Everywhere else is just fine for players to takeover and build in. Is here the new Mod list for easy 500. all are server side meaning you do not need to install anything. I hand picked mods from here, Working Stoves Adds stove, grill and wood stove repair kits. Use with hammer or nailgun on stoves and grills and wood ovens to upgrade them to working. The new stoves and grills will no longer be lootable of course since they are now working. Working Sinks and Water Coolers Adds cooler and sink repair kits to fix up house sinks and water coolers. More sinks will be added in the future (office utility etc) but for now its just cabinet type sinks. Honey Honey can be very difficult to find early game. This modlet increases the chance of honey dropping from tree stumps and also slightly increases the probability of tree stumps spawning in the world. That part requires a new map to see results for. Working Coffeemaker Adds a working coffeemaker. Perfect compliment to the working microwave. Destroy coffeemakers in houses to acquire one. Recipes for tea and coffee are included in them. Nuts and Berries Adds nut and berry food items. They can be acquired from punching bushes and grass. Nuts give a small amount of food and berries give some water. Combine them for handfuls of each and an extra bonus. Grass Cutter Adds a craftable grass cutter the Grass B Gone. Cuts fibers super fast. Does not kill zombies or animals. It DOES give XP faster of course since its cutting quicker but no extra xp than if you had punched it. 5 Slot Queue Adds a simple 5 slot crafting queue to UI. Bird Nest and Trash Bags Destroy on Loot Clean up your world and make it a tad bit more realistic. Birds nests will destroy on loot, as will trash piles. Working Microwaves Adds a working microwave you can pick up by destroying microwaves in the world. Recipes for soups and stews in bowls. Bowls can be found in common food trash loot. Increased Zombie Spawning Multiplies the population of zombies in towns and wild by the following numbers. Charcoal Adds some lootable charcoal to grills. The charcoal has a very long burn time so its the most efficient burning material. Increased Wandering Horde Size Takes the vanilla wandering hordes and adds a few extra zeds to each stage for a bigger more dangerous wandering horde.   15. Hello, I played a game on Navezgane for 50 hours I guess. My computer freezes while in game and I had to restart my computer. After this I started 7 days again but I can not find the savegame in the continue menu anymore. Is there any fix for this savegame, the folder is still existing of course. Thank you for your help:D
  16. Be as concise as possible, e.g. what happened / is the problem, how did you get to that point. I started hosting a server a few days ago on Nitrado and quickly run into Problems like constant server restarts and crashes till the point were it didnt start anymore. I thought that Problem was on my side and altered a few seettings here and there to see if I can get it running again but I was out of luck. I contacted the Support and they told me that with the new Alpha 20 build they had Problems on nearly all the Servers. I started using Gportal (another Serverhost) but I had exactly the same Problems. Thats why I came here to see if you guys can figure it out. Please provide full information on the game type. SP, MP local, MP dedi. If MP, are you hosting it, or is someone else? Its 2 MP dedicated Servers that im hosting through Serverproviders. Please state if you, (or the hosted server), are using any mods. Also state what they are. I`ve ran into the same problems with or without mods. Nitrado Server: Trying to use the War3zuk mod on there with a pregenerated map. Gportal: Im trying to use 18.4 Stable with Darkness Falls 18.4 Version with a DF pregenerated Map Provide the log file of the game (see below) Provide the log file of the server (if applicable) Thats the link for the outputlog file from the Nitrado Server https://pastebin.com/VaLH37rJ Thats the link for the outputlog file from the GPortal Server https://pastebin.com/xHvtqf00 As you can see both have the same exact output at the end and both refuse to start and always have the same output.   18. When managing a server, there isn't a direct way to find out which player the save files are for. Player Save Files are now displaying as EOS_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx instead of Steam ID. The only why to find out, is to ask the person to directly check their local save files and cross reference that with the server to identify the files OR open the console and while player is loading in to display STEAM ID with matching EOS line. Suggest: Reverting Save files from Hex to STEAM ID or add an alternative way to easily identify players from player save files.
  19. When sharing a restore power quest with other player, other player lost ability to hit blocks and zombies (but could still shoot) after I started the generator. MP local, him hosting. This has happened twice, different tiered quests(3 and 4 I believe). First time he regained the ability to hit blocks and zombies some time after quest ended. Second time, we backed out and went back in and he could hit blocks and zombies again. The first POI this happened at was one of the new farm houses, where the generator and the loot are in the barn. The second POI this happened at was the new houses construction.   21. The best way to find eggs is looting birds nests, I find that to become repetitive in the late game. Being able to craft a chicken coop would give players a way to passively farm a renewable source of eggs. Recipes including eggs would likely need to be tweaked as well to account for the increased number of eggs a player might have. (or not, perhaps even an egg every 2-3 days) I’m unsure of the right way to implement a chicken coop since getting chickens, let alone any animals, to go where you’d like is difficult. Perhaps a farming perk could include a way to capture a chicken for the crafting recipe; Or you would just craft it and a chicken would already be inside the coop, maybe implied to be inside from hearing occasional clucks and flaps.   22. Howdy people! I am back with another challenge and because we finally got lever action rifle and early game revolver it's Cowboy challenge! It's 7 Days to Christmas (well 7 Days to anything - it's just that it lined up perfectly to the Christmas for me) Me playing this challenge https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmlQHubgqovKcjk22ImEV4fVdeocgCgIF The base rules are: You can't use any major exploits, glitches or bugs. You can only use Wild-West themed weapons. In short: Lever action rifle Pipe Rifle Pipe Pistol .44 revolver Pipe shotgun Double Barel Shotgun Pump Shotgun Bone knife Hunting knife Club (wooden) Primitive & wooden bow Crossbow Molotov Dynamite * You might give yourself some headstart - I gave myself Lever action rifle, revolver, some ammo and food just to make it fun as many of the guns are more of a midgame stage and thus won't be available to you during the first few days. Maybe I forgot some, but rule of thumb is that anything that is remotely wild-west themed is ok. To make it more interesting you may opt-in for these rules as well: Only hat/helmet you can wear is cowboy hat Only overcoat you can wear is poncho Only boots you can wear are Cowboy boots Perma dead (once you die your character & world is gone)** *If you decide to play with these rules you should give yourself these items on day with with cheat mode. **This is challenging yet fun to do. It makes you think differently and value completelly diferent stuff. Goals: Survive for 7 / 14 / 21 days (I don't think it's fun to survive more than 21 days as it's quite challenging) Construct something (I am going for christmas-tree base) and then defend it against Day 7 Horde Anything you would like to do ... World settings: I recommend going with Warrior, 60 minutes per day, 18 hours Daylight, Zombies sprinting during horde & night and jogging through day. Although it's perfectly fine to pick whatever settings you like Also higher XP multiplier is reccomended I think that maybe playing with friends would be even more fun. Feel free to give me some feedback on the challenge & rules as I am pretty much tired of the base game and I don't like mods that much (although each alpha makes it fresh again) so I'll be making more challenges in future.   23. Hello all, I have a single player who cannot connect to our server. He claims that he was messing with drones and "notcied his weapon wouldn't switch so he disconnected" and now has gotten this error message in the same place every time. For the record I have edited the Config xmls on the server, however this doesn't seem to be the issue as he can load up a single-player Navezgane file, and other players can connect to the server. I haven't had the opportunity to delete his player.dat file to try and have him connect but that's a really @%$#ty solution considering absolutely everything resets (kills, deaths, time spent alive, etc) and since this player has put the most time on this server I'd like to restore his progress. Any ideas on what this can be? Seems to hang up in the dynamic mesh loading sequence every time. I tried changing all my dymesh/dynamic mesh settings while on the server and I couldn't recreate the issue.   25. After the farming change not only do I have to make seeds but each seed I get by chance takes away from my number of crops harvested as if I made the seed from the crops!!!
