Hi Fun Pimps. The gardens are unpredictable now. Some crops grow to maturity and some lag behind. They worked fine a couple of Betas ago when the trees were bugged. Hopefully this isn't part of your master plan as it is crop expensive and point consuming to be able to garden efficiently and you should get what you spend the points for?

Reproduce steps:Just randomly placing a vehicle can sometimes cause it to duplicate, but if you purposefully place a vehicle on the edge of where a block meets ground and there is that little gap it duplicates alot faster

 

Expected Resluts: another vehicle of the same type will pop out of it

Bug Description:

After crashing into a tree and being stuck until

 

Reproduce steps:

1. Hop on a bicycle (so far only seen with this vehicle)

2. Reach a Merchant's area

3. Start crashing directly into objects within vendor's area, trees, rocks, terrain, etc.

 

Actual result: The object (in this case trees) multiplied while the bicycle was stuck, and in this case trapped the User inside many trees, which are unvurnerable

 

Expected result: Bike bumps off the object and does not become stuck nor the object becomes duped

Bug Description: #1 trader common books and rare books have low percentages when all that is available in those xml columns are paper

Somewhere in the bottom where it lists the 2 types of traders someone was in a rush because it has a lot of counts 1,3 than a prob 2,4

Expected result: 1 remove prob for trader to have common and rare books in inventory as he already has possability for paper elsewhere.

Bug Description: I joined a dedicated server my brother was playing on ZUHEHI territory and I have a visible ring of raised earth/biome which looks like a solid wall 360 degress around me. As I move about the world, the ring stays at a constant distance which I assume is my view distance , leaving the trees 6-10 feet off the ground, often too high to chop down without standing on a block. Sometimes when the trees fall they will break my leg. Also, some of the trees take only 1 hit to drop and do not give any resources. I have loaded on other servers with no issues and have created the same world as a solo world on my PC and have not experienced the same error. No one else on the server appears to have this issue either.

Bug Description:

 

A horde will obsessively make sure that there is a ring of cleared spikes around the base before attacking the main entrance. The quest marker is just in front of where they're supposed to be attacking so that may be causing the strange behaviour.

 

Reproduce steps:

 

1) Take the little pre-made fort to the west of Nave, next to the brewery and exploding boats. Place a three deep ring of spikes around the place and a ring of spikes attached to the wall above them. Create a primitive ramp/drawbridge to allow access for yourself. Like this...

2) Spawn a horde. In this case they came from the South and instead of heading East towards the entrance they've headed West around the rear of the base. You can see the line they've started to clear and the bodies of the brave (but stupid) pathfinders at the bottom...

As zombies spawn they will join the conga line to clear the spikes...

Continued from previous post...

 

 

3) In the original play-through this was where I stopped the horde for the night but further experiments showed increasingly bizarre behaviour from the zombies...

4) Put the time back to day 14 at 10pm (sun go night-night GMT). This time the horde spawned from the North-East which was where they came from on my original play-through. They also followed the behaviour of that first time by taking a stroll up the ramp and diving off the top before heading off to finish the cleared line of spikes...

5) The zombies will insist on clearing a line of spikes around the base before doing anything else...

6) Only after a completely clear line of spikes has been created around the base will the zombies then start to attack the structure, in this case directly in behind the quest marker...

7) Try not to die.

 

Actual result: Zombies clear a line of spikes around the base before attacking.

 

Expected result: They attack the weakest point of the structure.

Bug Description: Cops can stand below your solid floor and vomit /through/ the floor, hitting you, not damaging the floor (or barely damaging it).

 

Reproduce steps: Stand on a say, concrete platform, with a cop below you, and he will spit through the floor. Not eating through the floor, but the vomit phases through.

 

Expected Resluts: Vomit to destroy floor first before said vomit actually hitting me.

Reproduce steps:

 

1) Start game

2) Get on a bicycle

3) Begin sprinting on bicycle all over the map

4) Stop

5) Get off bicycle

6) Find out you can't move

7) Log out of game

8) Log into game

9) Cry upon seeing all items on belt are now lost

 

 

Actual result: Not being able to move after getting off bicycle and losing items upon logging out and in

 

Expected result: Being able to move after getting off bicycle not losing items on the belt

Bug Description: "Eating the dead player" animation isn't where the player is.

 

Reproduce steps: Die, say, on a hill. Your ragdoll will move away from the point at which you died. The zombies will go to the spot you were when you died and "eat" empty air, often feet away from your actual body.

 

Expected Results: Zombies eat you, not the spot you died.

Status: Already reported via another channel - reporting here for completeness - fix was possibly checked in already.

 

Bug Description: swa <numpasses> noregion assumes the world is 4096x4096 when writing to the dtm.raw

 

Reproduce steps: Create a world with a new dtm.tga for a world sized other than 4096x4096 (example 8192x8192). Issue swa 5 noregion.

 

Actual Result: Observe that a lower 1/4 of the map is re-written in 4096 chunks smoothed incorrectly and rest of world is not smoothed.

 

Expected Result: Game reads world size and writes dtm.raw based on the world size. Thus allowing creation of worlds with smooth terrain world (like BackgroundLife) without the need for modified DLL files.

 

 

Tested additionally by creating hacked DLLs that allow output to different world sizes. The below code compare is a dirty hack. A better method would be to check the world size is square (since smoothing math used requires that), then use the world size as the input to set the array, for loops, and dtm.raw writing.

- some textures are flickering with white light

Status: NEW (My Apologies if this has been reported; I didn't see it in the list)

 

Bug Description: Scrapping in the workbench causes the raw iron stack to disappear after closing workbench screen

 

Reproduce steps:

Open workbench, click full stack of raw iron in inventory. Click Scrap at top, iron scrap timer starts counting down, close workbench screen. Open workbench again, and iron scrap timer is gone. Raw Iron stack is still gone from inventory. Stare in horror at screen because it's Day 7 and you need to upgrade your walls.

 

I have not tried to reproduce this with other metal scrapping yet, but queueing up a tool creation seems to work normally.

 

Expected Resluts: Workbench should continue scrapping raw iron while workbench UI is closed.

 

Edit: Converting Stone to Crushed Sand in a Cement Mixer causes the same issue.

Bug Description: No dtm.tga file is included with Navezgane, and none are generated when using the RWG.

 

Reproduce steps:

1) Look in Navezgane world folder. No dtm.tga.

2) Use RWG to create world. No dtm.tga file is generated.

 

 

Actual result: No dtm.tga file is generated.

 

Expected result(s):

1) dtm.tga file should exist in Navezgane folder.

2) dtm.tga file should be generated in new RWG world folders.

bug report, I have intellect level 8 and I also have the nerdy glasses so my crafting time is decent. I've noticed that when I leave stuff crafting in the cement mixer or forge and then leave the area. When I go back the crafting times changes(quite a bit), I noticed that with sand and steel. example if I leave 100 steel crafting in the forge and it says its going to take 18 minutes, if I leave and come back 10 minutes later it says that there is still 70 steel to craft, but now it says that it will take 40 minutes to finish. so I have to cancel and redo it again. sorry for bad explanation.

This can be easily reproduced but thought I would mention.

 

Closing the station doesn’t seem to respect your perks at all. I have a mod that reduces crafting time by more than default perk levels. It seems to just reset to default no-perk times.

3) Have another player use wire tool

4) Have them switch rapidly from on tool to the wire tool at the same time using it

5) Long wire begings to follow them

 

 

Actual result: Long wire following them

 

Expected result: Not to have a visual glitch of a wire following them

Bug Description: Motorcycle disappearing in SP.

 

Reproduce steps:

 

Totaly random. It happened 4 times before B240. On my current play, everything went right for hours (day 50). I parked the motorbike in front of a POI (no quest), left the game, came back, explored the POI then the bike wasn't there anymore. Don't know if it happened after disconnecting or after visiting the POI.

Hope you'll find the bug, it's certainly very hard to reproduce.
