  1. I did a playthrough when I could only use the items I crafted. I did not find it unbalanced (Survivalist). Sure I was not able to use any Q6 gear, but I found that didn't hinder me at all. Any items I found in loot were scrapped for parts and rebuilt, then I sold my extra gear to the traders. Use that money to stock up on ammo and any parts they may have. You want to craft Q6 gear and the game doesn't have it, that's fine to state and fine to ask; but to state that the game is completely unbalanced for crafters just because there are items you can't craft is not true.

  4. I found a full set of iron tools on the first day, with a few spares.... Weird thing was, I didn't go through a bunch of POIs. I was just exploring the area, looting things readily accessible outside, trying to locate the trader (I cancel the starting quests), and find a suitable POI to setup on overnight. I understand why they made the changes, but I agree, I think it is too fast. Fortunately, I have learned a lot over the past few months on modding so I will just adjust the loot probability tables to my liking 🙂
  5. I did the same thing (bought one from trader), but then I found herbal antibiotics in loot so I used one of those instead. I only found one honey so far (I always go for the stumps when I see them)
  6. No traders located usually means you got a custom map with no pine forests or using a pre-20 map / world.
  7. Are you using custom POIs like the combo pack or something like that? You have a ton of POI block errors which indicates a pre-20 POI
  8. They were that way for Alpha19 also. I remember making nails before I even made or found an anvil.

If you are changing the ammo, you should just do set xpath as recommended by Gouki or append

  13. No need for any additional information, you can now craft iron tools in your pockets apparently. Checked the data file and workbench is not in there as the crafting area. Not sure if this is intentional or was a mistake. Checked Alpha19 files and you didn't need the bench there either to craft iron tools (I always used the bench because of the long build times so I didn't think anything of it). Steel tools do require the workbench though Iron tools <recipe name="meleeToolShovelT1IronShovel" count="1" tags="learnable,perkMiner69r"> Steel tools <recipe name="meleeToolShovelT2SteelShovel" count="1" craft_area="workbench" tags="learnable,perkMiner69r"> Also some other notes: Nails and Forged iron don't require the anvil to make, it just reduces crafting time now you can craft gunpowder in your pocket crafting, but requires double the resources to do it

  15. Are you sure you don't have any mods left? Are you using new maps (did you delete all existing worlds?)? Can you at least pastebin your log files so people can assist?

  19. Nope, Feral sense on All the time 🙂 I want the zombies to take back the night for sure. I also like to see how all the changes interact at the beginning, rather than just looking at one or two by themselves. That way I can fully appreciate all the changes made by the development team and how they interact with one another. But I will keep the game pure vanilla with no mods for several playthroughs 😉

  21. You are not disadvantaged. Public release was going to be Monday, regardless if there was a Streamer even the following weekend or not. So with Streamer weekend, we get the release today (barring any breaking issues). Without the Streamer weekend, we get the release today.
  22. What's wrong with entertainment? Does something have to have educational elements to be valuable?
