So I wanted to mod the knife a small bit adding following lines: <set xpath="/items/item[@name='meleeWpnBladeT1HuntingKnife']/property[@name='RepairTools']/@value">resourceScrapIron</set> <set xpath="/items/item[@name='meleeWpnBladeT1HuntingKnife']/effect_group[@name='meleeWpnBladeT1HuntingKnife']/passive_effect[@name='EntityDamage']/@value">7.1</set> But something went really wrong)))) My knife now produces 100+ dmg per shot for whatever reason where it should be way less As I increased the base damage by 1, from 6.1 to 7.1 just to make a bit more difference from the bone knife. Any clues why did this happen? Maybe the repair resource matters, but it absolutely should not... And yes, the eternal question of making Tier 6 items craft-able... I want to ban all items higher than tier 1 from vending and loot, also ban foods and drinks except from murky and bottled water, so I'll have to crop and prepare foods. Generally ban everything except from basic and low grade resources in small quantities. So you'll have to hunt/mine/crop and craft. Looting made the game way too flawed for myself. And I also added receipts for weapons/tools 'parts', but it is expensive, like 15 iron ingots per part.

Regarding mods: I use the "glass fix" with behaves weirdly lastly replacing all the doors with either reinforced glass panels or metal constructions without any glass at all ful log is 1.2Mbs, so pastern refuses to consume it.

  7. yeah, lets just take all the graphical crap away from the game and use coloured boxes to represent firearms. In the end of the game - "there is no spoon Neo"... Everything is a mess of bytecode...
  8. quake 2 was the first mouse guided game for me. but start playing long before that with Wolfensetein 3D, Doom 2 Hell on Earth and all the rest. became a good fpser and a killing machine playing CS betas (0.XX) when it was just a mod for HL. Also liked SystemShock and SS2 as a mix of fps and rpg. hell there were so many games, I can't even recall a half of them.

  10. me personally prefer to take my gyro along with me into 4-5 lvl pois, so when I reach the top of the skyscraper I just put my gyro, load it up full of loot and "Away we go!", but sometimes it gets stuck... and That sucks)))

  13. I would still revert the quality gate in favour of crafting. So no lvl6 items in the loot, or quite rare, no lvl 6 at traders, and the only reliable source of lvl6 for crafting. And crafting dependant on the int tree, not in other usage related trees. Otherwise the smith has to be all 10th round up in all trees, and that makes no sense. Oh yes, and I noticed that gun parts became really rare to find. There is a higher chance of finding a complete gun lvl3-4 than finding parts to build it. Wasser question? You can always craft jars at forge, so f it... Stack sizes? Yep did increase the stacks for ammo to 500 as it is becoming really annoying late game o carry around packs of it, especially during skyscrapers missions.

  15. You can actually create a new game on the same map, and copy your character into it. The base, well you can always spare some time for quick rebuild using creative menu. I actually find it fun to start a new map with a "grown up" character, but I get rid of all the items I've got. Hight level ensures you'll get enough loot to survive, but first BM can be tricky ðŸĪŠ

  17. That is neat! Would recommend to also include a "western" type of lever-action .45 with like 8-9 bullets and decreased aim spread. Just modded items.xml of my own, it is so much freaking fun!

  20. Thanx for the Mod! It does improve the performance! Thanx, but I'm not running anything of a kind on poor ol brick 😅 Have a look at these settings 😅😅😅
