Just tested with Metal, circle works there as. charm along with tremendous fps boost, but kind of half the screen is not rendered at all... 😪 Bwt I noticed a significant performance drop event running the lowest settings possible. In skyscrapers my fps drops to 10-15 fps with stutters while shooting.

Me with i7-8750H in my McBookPro have 4 cores loaded 100% most of the time... Even having the minimal possible graphics settings. On BM it is always 100%

I wonder what kind of cpu the ts has so it is only loaded by 10% in a cpu bound game...

Dunno how you manage it, for me Vsync actually helps to keep my laptop cooler = run smoother as I use it as a fps limiter, I noticed it is working fine for me at half sync my laptop runs almost quiet producing quality 30fps, but it is barely playable with 30 fps, disabling vsync produces 80-90 fps for a few minutes and then dumps to 70ish and poor MacBook sending me waves of noise telling me what kind of a*hole I am and temp get up to late 90-100.

max g settings is way out of 1050 Ti field, you could try High if you switch to off/low shadows, terrain quality, reflections, rays etc. You could still maintain FAR view distance and High model details and Texture queality, though the rest should be disabled/lowest setting.

I personally prefer moto and the drone, I go on a lvl 5 mission with a drone as I will surely lack inventory space while clearing it out, but as soon as I'll get out of the quest, I'll just unload all I can into the moto and drive away as speed is crucial especially if you've got 2 hours until dusk and the blood moon coming.

Close to same for me. Just dig a hole 7x7 and build a 2 story house with one floor underground where I've got all my forges/crates/benches and a looong ladder to the mine. And the ground floor where there is nothing but open window box with a door. on the roof I place a solar panel and a turret to defend it against vultures. Mostly I find a plain spot next to a trader so at least one side is almost protected during the "cold winter nights". And yes, I can still expand the roof to a helicopter-pad.

Any suggestion on frame limiting on Mac?) I've got same issues, VSync on is not working at all (no limitation), VSync half though is working, limiting the fps to 30, and stutters go away, but my eyes start bleeding with 30 fps)))

Steps to reproduce: 1. deploy a drone. 2. throw some stuff in it 3. enable DM with god mode and start jumping away from the drone very quickly so it looses you 4. empty drones container and pick it up 5. jump away fast from that spot, most likely when you stop the copy of the drone will arrive as engine has lost track of drone that is already in your pocket. P.S. Sometimes it is an old drone from several hours ago with old loot in it. VSync is on somewhere... Otherwise you would get system usage to the top and ramping coolers and fps jumping. It is never stable unless it is limited.

Hey Mac guys, can anyone check of VSync is working for you? Im a bit outdated with my MBP Pro 2018, but still game on it, and thing is I get up to 100 fps even though the VSync is on and monitor is 60Hz only, on 19,6 which vsync enabled I had a constant 60 fps and system did not ramp up as a rocket.

just set it all manually. do some testing with different configs and figure out what is the best for you. if you do not possess a high end gpu set terrain quality to medium and ssao reflections/shadows to low or off as these are really consuming your resources
