So there is no way for us to get set up overnight to download? :( Australia isn't known for the best internet (We get .3MB/Sec download here) so it takes us forever to download anything.

Got decent speed here but we still do not have anything to download...

We don't see in frames, we see in a constant stream.

For ex

Yes we watch a constant stream but IRL.

A video game is not a constant stream its is rendered frame by frame and emulates a constant stream that depends from the monitor Hz capability and ofc the PC power(GPU/CPU) to meet the monitor's Hz in fps.It is an emulation to trick our eyes and brain.

Also higher framerates like 60Hz for a movie is causing motion sickness cause it is "very realistic" for our brain (thus the 30frames movies/tv shows). A 30 frames movie is causing the needed motion blur we see in our lives and do not see in a movie cause we are watching an emulator.

Now if you have a BM horde running after you and you got immerse with the game then you are in a state of "running for your life" almost like in real life.

In that case the 60Hz from the monitor are almost the half of what YOU are capable of seeing with the x^10 hormones running in your bloodstream at that time.

So the "constant stream emulation" of 60Hz fails.

In real life the world looks more "accurate" when we are in stat state cause we loose the natural motion blur that we do not need to "be safe" faster.

Anyway the it is more complicated than that but we r out of topic ;p

Also the eyes and brain are not digital :)

Steam will tell you when you can update. Your "play" button will be replaced by an "update" button

Half-true. This is experimental, not official release of Alpha 17. Meaning you need tp choose it in Steam: right-click on 7 Days to die, go to properties, Find Beta Tab, choose to opt for alpha 17 or experimental, whatever is written when it's out. I think it's not out yet.

You have to opt in for XP & as soon as the Pimps releases it to Steam it will be in the Drop Down List in Properties.

EDIT: R Click Game, Properties, Beta Tab, Drop Down List For Opt In To Beta

When the Game Releases you will see an Option for Latest Experimental

Experimental does not exist yet so there is no way to select it.

Release The KRAKEN, Here Boy, Here Boy...

I've been looking under properties but it's still not there
