He's working on a 3D crafting grid.  Item blueprints will be 3D nonograms.

Keep your sexual fantasies to yourself.  :p

Nothing sexual about it. I'll be riding on top of Big Mama's shoulders shoutting "High Yo Silver!" on the way to some of them 2 km away missions.

Madmole is consulting with Snowdog on how to improve the escort and nurse zombies.

Also more zombie animals.

Rabbits, chicken and deer will now destroy crops they can reach.

This actually was an issue once.  Had to build fences around your crops.

I vote that he's working on a new encumberment system based on weight so that we can only carry enough blocks to build a small cabin, instead of something like a fully detailed version of the titanic.

Forges, workbenches, and chemistry stations will have a chance of severely injuring you if you don't have the proper clothing/equipment as well as the perks. So that you get a real "sense of personal achievement" when you make that pot and nails w/ only minor injuries. 😏                                                                                                                             (I'd love to hear something about fish in the water and fishing someday but some more RWG tweaks would be cool.)

You guys laugh, but one upon an alpha, opening your inventory use to make noise?

Opening a bag filled with 10 tons of building material sounds like it would eat up alot of energy....😅

So.... stalker crossover? You need energy??  S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Energy drink and you can do everything!

Btw better question - how our character found so durable bag - one time i bought 4X2 L of cola --> big hole in bag

Every time you spawn, you spawn in the wasteland with an undead dog next to you.

(Mandetory) Forgebooks make a comeback.

The first bearmodel that was shown in the video will be reimplemented. Same goes for the charred glowing zombie.

The compass, food, drink, stamina and healthbar will be removed in favor of AN EVEN BIGGER XP BAR!!!

You finally don't need to bug yourself into the ground to see whats below. X-Ray-Goggles are coming!

Trader Jen will get an EVEN BIGGER rack! (but will be completely flat on hotfix x.1 because of backlash) But will also get back her hot manly voice!

Every melee hit will now come with it's own minigame where you need to score 1000 points to hit and 2500 points to do a critical.
On servers, servertime will be halted for every player. (Animals can still move, because that will obviously never be a problem)

removal of the nurse, hawaian shirt and strippers to comply with PC culture.

All zombie models will be replaced with Z's from Killing Floor 2.

Bikes now have a 50/50 chance to either get stuck at bedrock or be catapulted into heaven. Morality system for bikes will be implemented in A24

Baby zombies. Also giant hornets!

Biomes edges are now completely random (but straight) as to make transition smoother. Will be worked on(removed) in the following alphas.

Gore blocks! Now with extra fungal growth!

A readable book will be introduced about an obvious madman who goes around telling everyone that there were caves underneath them, but the gods are trying to hide them from him!

Molds for traps! No more electrical parts! Just trhrow em in and produce bladetraps from raw iron!

And at long last:
MM finally died on the hill (and was resuscitated) and is finally bringing back the best system the game ever knew!

Spoiler

Well that was a lot. But I'm sure I forgot like half of the things I could write here.
Let me know how many you understood!

You folks know that nothing else is happening at TFP while Madmole is working on this one thing.  That's how development works.  Serial queue, no passing lane.

Yep - this same thing in valve - we are waiting for hl3 so long because to everycopy of hl3 will be added made by gaben himself crowbar :)

Perk “Cracked and Calloused” - your hands are worn from hard work. every point added diminishes damage from workbench crafting by 10-20%.

Perk “I read the manual” (or “RTFM”)

- you spend time making sure you’re safe and Heed warnings. Every point added diminishes possible damage from workstation occurring by 10%

Candy “Bit O’ Fumbly” - adds 10% resistance to damage from workstation crafting for 3 minutes.

new hand damage buffs: all take 5% off of melee damage. For guns, slows down reload time by 5%. Each Stacks x10 (one for every finger). Each lasts 3 game days if not mitigated

blister - mitigate with aloe cream

Cut finger - mitigate with bandage

Sliver - no mitigation.

Special rare damage buffs:

Cornea tear: adds blur effect for 3 in game days. (They take awhile to heal). Partial Mitigation: ski goggles

Tinnitus: adds persistent whine for 6 in game hours.

No mitigation.

triggered by: lots of forging activity

Smashed finger: melee damage reduced by 20% (stacks 5x)

Severe internal injury: stamina cut by 20% for 6 in game days. After mitigated stamina cut to just 10%. Stacks x3.

Mitigation: use knife on self, internal bleeding buff kicks in, you have 10 seconds to apply Medkit or die.

caused by: using nail gun (fine, not a workstation thing)

self loathing: stamina cut by 30% for 1 game day.

Mitigation: any elixir or alcohol. Must be under its effect at all times to remove stamina debuff

Caused by: using cement mixer and just watching it make cement for too long.

I can’t feel my face: blur effect, and “dim /dark” effect and some stamina cut for 3 in game days. Bartering is -50%

caused by: Using chemistry station when not wearing goggles when making things from acid or making gas.

Bartering mitigation: bartering to -15% when wearing bandana and head covering.

Other:

If walk away from chemistry station while making gas, chem station May detonate with force of 1 demolisher

That is so insane and brutal - just amazing, lol. Eye damage (I flinched, lol) , self-loathing, & explosions - definitely make the survival part of the game more difficult. Jeez, just the exploding workshops alone would break folks. Dunno about making nail guns dangerous...oh make all tools dangerous as well like an ax mishap can cut off a few toes?

Why not? Chainsaws can kick back and do really bad damage, if nothing else everything else could get some blisters and splinters! Pipe weapons should have a chance of just blowing up in your hand maybe? Crafting timed charges or explosives of any kind (even gunpowder) should have some risk if you haven’t perked into “safety/knowledge protocols” or something.

Even smelting glass and making jars could be dangerous. It’s super hot glass, we’re not using an annealing over or anything, it’s hot fragile glass smelted from just scrap or sand we dug up it’s not gonna be a nice experience :)

Smelting down metals, we’re not wearing proper gloves or apron or shoes, spill that and get some nasty burns.

I think walking over campfires used to catch you on fire, but not anymore… bring this back!

Someone, somewhere in this forum awhile ago asked about “permeant injuries” like losing fingers or arm/eye/leg. This would be super cool and goes well with “workstation oopsies” injuries. I think they wanted it to be seen visually by other players but if not it would still be a neat addition as a “unique game mechanic” not many games I’ve ever played have done…. Or Adding scars on the face and body would be neat…Just imagine … “So, I was attacking this dog with a spear I made and it bit off 2 fingers before I killed it. Yeah, it set me back a bit because It was my trigger finger and my aim was always off even with the one eye missing from the fall I took off a roof. I was able to whittle a new finger and duct tape it to my hand, so my aim improved a little. Then the zombie bear got me, obviously, so in retrospect it was a lot of time wasted fixing my fingers”

Madmole is working on adding micro transactions.

Soon you will be able to buy real estate in Navezgane for real world cash.

But only by paying with “Duke” crypto coins. You get them by mining on the in game voxelchain, which uses native XP coin, which you can then convert to Dukes. You can stake them by putting down a land claim block, and earn an extra 10% XP by killing zeds if you put effort into their Perk wallet. It’s the only in game crypto voxel chain that generates new coins by invalidating blocks. There is no cap on block rewards so get in early before the bandits get in. It goes to the moon every 7 days so it’s easy XP as long as you’ve invested enough to trap Zed XP dips. Pro tip: use the Jen exchange as the Rekt one has a less friendly UI.

Guys please lets not give madmole any ideas or next thing you know we will have zombie dragons <.<

Madmole? Doughphungus is a force multiplier - I'm not throwing anything out else out there, lol! Now we're on to crypto mining which usually elicits knee-jerk horror but...my wife are kinda miners - it's how our buddy who taught us to play really focused on mining & crafting. Good gods now I'm being pulled towards the dark side... I hope that we don't wait long for the "big reveal."
