  1. What I'm worried about is that currently, with the new A20 block placement system, we don't have really a choice for higher tier materials. If you want to build an all-concrete base quickly, you can't use iron frames anymore, right? So in A20, if I understand it correctly, you have these two options. Option 1: place all the particle wood blocks and do the full upgrade path to concrete, wasting materials and time. Yes, TIME! Not everyone has a nail gun handy in the first few weeks, Roland. That's actually the best case scenario. Option 2: is to directly craft the concrete blocks in the mixer (if you have one) and place them to build your base. But as I said, you completely lose the opportunity to quickly handle misplacement errors, and you'd be forced to destroy each "wrong" block with (again) a huge loss of time. So, in the end, if this is how it works, I'll try to live with that, but IMO you (TFP) lost an opportunity to make the building system even more sleek.
  2. I'm sorry? Have you ever even built a base?? Most of the time you need A LOT of high tier blocks to build ANY base, so that means that now we'll have to go through the full upgrade path EACH TIME?
  3. Since apparently it's not like that, I guess you'd better be steady while placing concrete blocks, or you'll pay dearly your mistake!
  4. Yeah! Something like this: They could add a grenade launcher as a Tier 3 explosives weapon...
  5. Noob question: where can I find Twines? I found some in my inventory, but I don't remember how I got them!
  6. I have one question about something I'm still unsure about... will it be possible for A20 city blocks to have connected sewers under the POIs? Thanks Edit: by "connected" I mean sewers that span under more than just one POI and that are connected together like kind of a "sewer system".
  7. I didn't look at the time at all... I had it memorized before, and I went on "auto"... next time I have to remember to go back to the original OP and check the time.
  8. Shouldn't there be a developer stream right now? But I checked Fubar_Prime's channel, and he's off-line!?
  9. I don't know... maybe have a look at all the vehicle mods and find out? ... https://7daystodiemods.com/?s=vehicle
  10. I was just looking at some mods, and I found out that Ravenhearst mod has exactly what I'm talking about. Cool. Vehicle Pickup Disable Realistic weights on vehicles. You can no longer pick up and store your heavy vehicles. Bicycles can be picked up. Be careful while driving and prepare to dig a vehicle out if it is stuck.
  11. Weird. Now it's working. Probably a temporary connection problem on my part...
  12. I played also that alpha version where we had the "perlin" caves and I used the minibike. It was A LOT of fun, actually. I had to tag on the map the cave entrances and sometimes build small bridges to cross the gaps in the terrain with my minibike, I also had to build small lamp posts so that I could react in time and see the bridge while driving. That's what I'm talking about. But I see a lot of people are more comfortable with automatic this and automatic that... oh, well.
  13. I think there's more to the Steam Workshop than just an easier installation. It's also a place where you can easily search and find ALL supported mods, divided by type/category and such. It is well integrated with the main platform the game is sold on AND can help even smaller mods to be showcased easily. But I agree with someone who said that Mod version checking NEEDS to be implemented BEFORE they go live with Steam Workshop support.
  14. I don't know what you main, if you know what I mean...
  15. You use a different gun for each month of the year??
  16. Oh, ok, in that case I shouldn't have reported that as a bug... it's perfectly normal.
  17. Yeah, but somebody actually has to SUE them! It's not like there's a red alert light on the desk of a government officer which lights up whenever an EULA is bullcrap!
  18. Yeah lol, I did the same, because the problem is it's not just a L/R thing, the sound comes from the completely opposite dirction! (front/back)
  19. I don't think so... I've never noticed that in 7D2D vanilla. Furthermore, I think @Devrix this must be reported as a mod bug.
  20. I'm not talking about the red checkmarks, in my case I'd read (e.g.) "Minibike for Dumb@%$#s" several times, but I wouldn't get the check in the perks list (or maybe the next level... can't remember). Edit: I also made sure I read the skill books from a belt slot, as per instructions.
  21. The same thing happened to me all the time (latest version, no other mods back then). I think they'll only unlock when you have the other prerequisites, IIRC.
