kmolleson Posted June 10, 2018 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Auger/Chainsaw Upgrade Issues I can't seem to upgrade the auger or chainsaw blades. I have the materials and I know the recipe and I've tried at both the workbench and the advanced tools workbench (wotw). The craft button simply doesn't show up for me to click. Yeah, but I'm old. 54 in a few days and I've been using computers to communicate since mid-80's. Rusty and Edie's BBS anyone? I love the Sailing Ship POI! It always has a working workbench and often a working chemistry lab. I try to find one of those and set it up as a base. The sails always fall after a few days but they rarely do much damage to the rest of the ship. Since it is high off the ground and has 6000 point blocks at the base, it makes for a great home. If you haul enough dirt it even seems stable enough to grow a garden up top; at least once the sails fall. I'm not sure if the sails would damage the garden, but no sense in taking chances. The only downside is the class system. I still have yet to find a construction class c paper at level 175. So all my concrete construction has been out of vending machines at the class shop. Your Not Old .. you are still a Kid at heart … I'm 73 and a Gamer at heart and running "5" - 7D2D games on my system. I love the building part of the game more than the hordes, but at the moment stuck on playing Conan Exile and a couple other games .. while waiting on 7d2d mod updates. … the Old Gamer .. minisith Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 I got a new issue that just came up. My game was working for months on end and recently when I entered my saved game my character is now a lvl 1 new character and the map is totally unexplored, but the day is the exact same as when I last saved it. I ditched the mod manager and manually installed the mod to my base 7dtd game and still the issue continues. Wont say its everyone single one as it isnt. but a couple will disappear at times like it wasnt even there. it has happened a few times with me so far. so thought i say something about it. crpgnut Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 Pirate Ships disappear all the time; especially if there is burnt forest biome nearby or if you pass through burnt forest on the way to it. sinda Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 disappearing buildings is a flaw in the vanilla game. when you create your world, distant terrain is calculated for the entire map, but sometimes when an area actually loads for the first time, the rwg fails to actually place said buildings, but the distant meshes remain to tease you. likewise if you demolish a building and build a new one, when you back away, the mesh appears for what had been there. That is a very Old Issue and the only way as far I know is to make the Traders unprotected but as game design " they are Protected ". I think there are a lot of us Old Timers playing this game tbh. I was an Avid BBSer back in the 80's not aware of the one you mentioned but I used to be a ranking member on BBSes all over the world ofc my favorite were always the Commodore64 boards that ran CNET or ImageBBS software due to the colors and the animations you could do on them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a vanilla bug that usually occurres when the door to trader is left open. It's annoying but can be fixed if you go into god mode and fly slightly above the trader. Just have a question on class fragments, once you complete a quest and you can craft spare fragments into a class paper then what? I cannot figure out what to do with these. Cheers. I am playing single player with cheats enabled so that i can teleport if i get glitched into something. It has been 76 in game days, and i am also level 164 with a high scavenging. I have all other fragments. I want to give it a few more in game days before i cheat spawn myself a class c fragment. My understanding is that they like to spawn in: Shops, cars, working stiff toolboxes and utility zombies. So far i have found everything else but the builder class c fragment. If the RNG gods still continue to torment me, i will break down and find the idcode to spawn it in. Where would i look to find that? which xml file do i look for?
