  3. The prefab tag property is the only relevant POI property now I believe. All of the other ones are most likely redundant and will probably get deprecated.

  5. There will be cases where compromises are made for gameplay reasons and this is one of those situations in my mind where gameplay > realism. Could they add a mechanic for player crawling? Sure, but how much time will it take to do so and also update every other aspect of the game that is impacted by it? Probably a feature best planned/developed for the next game imo...
  6. Personally, they should make that behavior a feature if it's not intended. Adds more depth to the tower defense aspect. Sorta like a dam leaking before bursting. Consequences of leaving a group zeds alone for too long.

  8. Time permitting, we will do multiple passes on existing POIs as new block entities are added to the game. The new decorative vehicles should be no different. The old junkyard POIs especially would benefit from them.

  10. 42x42 downtown POIS have a small alleyway (6m wide from back edge?) In the back which all downtown tiles are designed to work with. You could rotate your POI so your driveway is in the back but then you would also have to shrink it down some as well. (Or at least adjust driveway entry) Commercial 42x42s POIs don't use any driveway parts but do require an asphalt connection from the front if you want an access way that wraps around back.
  11. Haven't worked on any biome specific modding in a while. This is a unique idea as most people seem to prefer way to prevent spawns in POIs versus the other way around.
  12. That video is a good example, at a quick glance it looks like an animation of some type was missing. Like moe went into fall down animation after getting hit and instead of him going into a standing up animation, it jumped immediately into a crouched swing animation. I vaguely recall faatal mentioning he used existing animations for the new crawling one so perhaps the problem lies somewhere in that area. Will check with him and see if a bug report would be good for this or if its already in the pipe line.
  13. The forcefield is actually a very good example of the devs prioritizing bugs correctly. I vaguely recall it being reported and reproduced in A19. If my memory is correct, there wasn't a good fix at the time that wouldnt impact performance so the bug was shelved for the moment. One thing that causes people to think the devs are out to ruin people's fun are content creators. Its usually specific wording (eg. "Nerfs"vs "fixes"), statements (e.g. "take that TFPs!!!") and or thumbnails in their videos that get people thinking that way. Edit: On the positive side, there are some players who fully acknowledge how helpful content creators are at finding/reporting issues and are not mad at all.
  14. The new shutters that can open might be a good alternative. They have an inside and outside variant which gives players alot of choices in their use.

I dunno, if you become a master at newsstand design people would probably watch. 😅 I recently subscribed to a Damascus steel metalsmith channel because I enjoyed the level of detail and skill demonstrated in each piece of work he made Despite not knowing heads or tails about steelscrafting lol...

  17. The red fire station is currently being updated to current standards and will be added back afterwards. There are quite a bit of old school favorites from the past that will be updated for A21. Stay tuned...😁
  18. Do you have an example A16 horde base in mind? I would love to test it out in A20 to see how it actually plays out. Sure the AI is more efficient then the past but I don't think its as bad as you think.
  19. Hard to say what happened. Might of been a wandering horde or just the increased spawn rate in downtown tiles. I recall the big churches are only there. If your feral sense setting is on that would explain it too.
  20. Are you sure its just not nostalgia? Back then you could just build 3 high solid square base and call it a day. I don't see how that is more thrilling then what we have today. Edit: A15 day 21 horde night example: Jump to around 15 min mark.
