Do they only last so long? Same for my animals. They will be fine in my farm then suddenly poof gone.. the males disappear more than the females, but they too will end up disappearing. i make sure they have access to both food and water. does water need to be in the trough? why do they vanish, and why arent they breeding? Avocado and Dates say we can use them in juices and stuff, but there is no recipe options for them. (jerky also says it can be used in juices..... bleh) ...... I figured tiger, spider, hyena, cougar, dont need to eat, but thought the dogs did but the food never seems to deminish. new one: summoning a tamed zombie bear freaks the server out causing massive null refs. aslo new problem: when placing a new farmer and first talking to her, an error pops up. guard stations causes errors after being given weapons/ammo. We just started getting this error today, workers have all their stuff and wont work.. this error spams over and over like a 100 rows of error code every 30 seconds. CrafterWorkScript: Crafter has no inventory FarmerWorkScript: Farmer has no inventory they were working fine before today (asside from the occasional disappearance) ... We have dozens of testers on many servers, and none are reporting even a fraction of these issues. I'd suggest a full wipe and re-install when that's possible. I think it loses power in the morning when the game switches between the battery bank and solar bank. In my video (below) I attached 4 insect repellent lights to a battery bank which in turn is attached to the solar bank. The repellent lights are not illuminated even though it is morning and the solar bank has enough output to power all my devices. I had to manually switch off/on the battery bank for the repellent lights to turn on again. Now I don't know if it is a just graphical issue, since the solar bank shows the same amount when the repellent lights are illuminated. Any ideas? The fact that it's more than one player in your group but no other groups means that it is not the client. As Xyth stated, these issues seem to be isolated to your group. Maybe? The reason turning them off and on allows power is that if gives you a hair over what the batteries require to recharge. That hair over remains positive as long as there is sun. Just an idea. Question here: Do you get plague if the lights aren't lit? If you still don't get plague than it's a graphic issue. If you do, than it's a power issue. I put them all in the Starvation rwg file and that didn't work, so I put everything ( including the bespoke Starvation entries ) in Magoli's rwg file and that worked. Yes the solar bank recharges the batteries in the battery bank if they are dead but there is still plenty left over to charge other devices. I have two fridges hidden in the corner and all the food in them appear fine (eg. do not spoil) with this setup. I recorded another video where at actually 6:00 AM the repellent lights turn off after being on all night with both banks on. I'll do more tests when I get a chance to see if the repellent lights are actually working even if they appear off. This issue is easy to reproduce - attach solar bank to battery bank with both banks on. Then attach insect repellent or rodent lights to battery bank and wait till 6:00 AM in the morning or whenever dawn/zombies walk/light breaks out. Note, I am playing SP. As for the planted trees requiring water, thanks for the clarification. On the topic of water and trees many of my rain collectors did disappear. However, I'm wondering if they were destroyed by a wandering horde trying to attack trees and the collectors themselves got in the way. Make sure your roof is concrete as wood will let the water into your base. Then go for the living roof concept. I'll see if I can replicate your power issue. The miner actually mines world mineral (3 block radius straight down). Some of them are now usable to repair or increase durability of certain itemsGold is now usableSilver is now usableDiamonds are now usableUranium is now usableDepleted Uranium is now usable [*]SANTA RESCUE EVENT Santa Claus is a random snow biome spawnWhen a player gets close to it, a rescue event will be triggered and Santa will call out for help10s after the event is triggered, a first wave of enemies will spawnThe event consists of 4 increasingly harder waves, adding harder enemies then culminating with a bossIf you pay attention, Santa will give you a pointer that a wave spawn is incoming.Player NEEDs to stay close to Santa (at least 1 player), and keep him aliveSanta will not accept dialogs for the duration of the event.If all players leave Santa vicinity the event will reset.If Santa survives the full event, he will be available to talk for 60 seconds. You will hear him thank you as a pointer, and dialogs will be available.To open Santa presents, hold the item in hand and press right mouse button. Press ESC to close the Gift Box. WORD OF ADVISE: do not engage on this new events alone, unless you're very well geared up and are not affraid of a challenge! NOTE: if you guys find a way to "cheat" these events (which I know you will!), I ask you to contact us directly I hope you guys have fun and enjoy this changes and, as always, keep us informed of problems, balancing issues or bugs.
