  1. The same shutters are on top of the "left" banks as well. But I think the "light check" for the solar panel is done on one of the four blocks, not all/any, just one specific one. If your image is any indication, the second panel from the left in the shown orientation is the one covered by the shutter. (On the left side, the third is covered without issue..) EDIT: The obvious solution from that, would be to place the right side bank as "on face" on the wall: that way the ends will swap places, but it should still look somewhat symmetrical. Dunno if solar panels allow for the rotations though.
  2. Steel.. carries 320 per glue side, so 640 total for that structure. You have 16 steel blocks hanging from two "carrying faces", plus the blade traps. 16x20 = 320. I don't know how much a blade trap weighs atm, the multiblocks have been weird on occasion. Could be 20, could be 9x20. At 4x(9x20) + 320 = 1040 it would be way over the limit as well - but blocks that are "pinched between" glue portions have always been a little weird. One way to add some more support from those same pillars is to add poles in the corners between the hanging elements. I marked them in your picture with red lines (EDIT to add: any block will do of course, poles would just hide there nicely..)
  3. I'll wing this a bit, numbers might be off ... those support poles, if concrete, offer 100 weight each for the middle section. Each block weighs 10, iron types weigh 20. You have 16(x10) concrete hanging on the 200 support, and 4 blade traps, exact limit of 200. EDIT: already past the limit of 200..!? Upgrade the top of the support pillar to steel and then from there onwards the rest; if you can't add more support blocks. The way the blade traps work atm, they might get support from ground if you place plates under them there.. but that's a lil hacky...
  4. There is no real reason to guess, you can see the heat with along FPS in dm mode. (I'm thinking shift+f8, but I'm not sure of the keybind atm.)
  5. A couple of the T6 infestations, that's just the entrance ... Sure, if one actually aims, it isn't that bad, but if your hit rate is 20% - like half the youtubers - you can expect a screamer every pull
  6. It used to be that any damage could trigger them to rage, including falling and cacti.. I think some of that was toned down, but I'm not sure and even if so, it's a new alpha with new old bugs ...
  7. Sounds like the rage mode; whenever hit, a zed can indeed start running faster. How often it happens depends on game difficulty, very rare on default, quite common on the harder ones.
  8. Hmm... now that you mention it, that sounds like an interesting challenge. Something like Warrior difficulty, so you don't need a dozen headshots each. Could be fun, might have to try
  9. I would imagine a crossbow having way better range IRL, the more power you can put into your projectile, the less it suffers from air resistance etc. And the main selling point of a crossbow is the mechanical loading, using all kinds of leverage to achieve more power.
  10. I've seen plenty of Chicken Sliders, a Choppa Slider is a new one...
  11. Candles are a good option too, a little less harsh light
  12. I kinda like the idea that a game offers difficulties that aren't really meant to be habitable ... that way there's always something to work towards.
  13. All perfectly true; I might go as far as drop the exception part: it would not hold in court. But who would expect it to, I'm merely talking about the law, and it's purpose; not courts. I never did... but if anyone is using 7dtd/general-chat as legal advice, boy do they have bigger problems than a random internet troll such as myself. Beyond my help, I would bet.
  14. Any of the tool mods will fit, flaming shaft might.. and the structural brace isn't a Grip, right, should fit right along with Ergo?
  15. You do realize that "lame" is quite offensive to some people, and you should not be using it. It's not even the pointlessness of the request; it's the utter hypocrisy of the requesters, "just don't insult the better people, mmkay".
  16. No. There's plenty a nuance between the two. You can't even choose the audience, you can have a Target Audience, but that's just a target. But mainly, first one has two solutions; "Don't compete" and "have a different audience". For the latter, only one of those applies.
  17. Yes, but I basically brought up two, parody has its own clause; but my original phrasing above Papa's quote was "as long as you don't compete with the original audience". I don't know how you would "just change the audience", you do need to change the nature of the work; but I was referring to the non-compete clause there. In legal practicality, none of the tests used to check for fair use are neither sufficient nor necessary conditions to meet the criteria, in the end it's all left to the discretion of the judge. Non-compete alone Can suffice, but I wouldn't bet my grandma on it.
  18. Now, don't go getting into lawsuits against billion dollar companies based on the word of an internet randomer; you ain't got the money to see it through. But to an extent, yes. I've seen a copyright case where someone lifted an entire youtube video, slapped it on their own channel with merely a changed title, basically just making fun of the original. The originator went into court over it and got not only thrown out, but to pay the legal fees of the alleged infringer; which is kinda on the rare side for anything copyright related. So yes, in principle. In practice, go against Disney and they burn so much money with legal bull@%$# that you'll be selling your grandma on a wet market before you see the inside of a courthouse. Hence, Blood and Honey. And for some reason, characters do seem to get their own protection, yes (which I find rather questionable), so copying the character of spiderman might be legally problematic. But with sufficient changes, you actually Should be allowed to sell your version of No Way Home as you see fit. Under the law, just not in practice.
  19. You can, it's called fair use. As long as you don't compete with the original audience, you're fine in the current law. And why couldn't you? The stated purpose of copyright is to encourage the creation of new art, if copyright is blocking you from creating your spiderman-edit, it's going against its own purpose.
  20. Pretty much yes; the weaker things like spears and stun batons are stronger now, but neither really challenges sledges/clubs for early melee top spot. All the trees are usable, but I don't play insane difficulties; so I won't claim to know for real. Things like shotgun snaring are still in game and just as strong as before - I would assume that nothing really changed for the "absolute best" builds, but the contenders seem less weak.
  21. If you don't mind cheesing it a "bit", see if this still works: Make a 3m pillar in your target pool, drop the water on top of it. Most of the water should fall into the pool, while a single splash remains on top. Scoop up the single on top, and you have a full bucket again, leaving three similar splashes in the target pool.
  22. It's like 80-90% spawn when breaking it, from my experience. If your method works a couple times in a row, let us know
