  1. I understand the idea was to keep people out and about looting and questing. Otherwise once high enough level, you'll never need to leave your bace except for maybe mining. I still enjoy crafting and usually craft most of my tools and firearms because of how I spec out what what type of weapons I prefer and one can't trust relying on RNG to get those items for you.
  2. I like the slow reload process, one it makes look like a reload procedure for something handmade, and two it keeps them limited in early game, much like the blunderbuss.
  3. That's why we're going back to the moon, to build HUGE gaming computers at the poles in craters so they're always cold
  4. Part of the reason I keep my use of traps down, to one that wound rather than kill. I love electric traps combined with a robotic sledge and/or junk turrets. I don't use junkies around Demos and I male the sledges hit them on their left side. I use shot or auto turrets on the roof top for those flying rat @%$#s. For other traps, I prefer to use them on switches so they are only turned on when I get overwhelmed.
  5. Just to clarify, the M1 Garand is an eight shot semi-automatic rifle. So in the same league as the sniper rifle in 7D2D.
  6. I find that if it is too close to the zed, it won't hit them. I keep a empty block space between the one that punchie sets one, my grandson's name for it, and the one the zombies walk-on.
  7. All things considered, I'd go with more rounds in the magazine verses an extra 2HP per round.
  8. Great, that's all we need, a wondering hoard of dancing Elvii. LOL
  9. Pffft, you guys with your high powered computers, mine was a Time-Sinclair 1000 with cassette tape drive to store programs.
  10. I also love the Gyrocopter, people keeps thinking it's a helicopter, it is not, it's a Short Take-Off & Landing aircraft. Learning how to fly slow and pretty soon you're landing on top of the silos in the Large Shotgun Messiah for the main loot.
  11. I usually don't buy the either, but there are a few times were I may. Like finishing up a set, or something I normally work spend XP on to learn it. So it depends on what it is and how I'm working on up to.
  12. I just got a tier 2 one for the new Working Stiffs store.
  13. My biggest issue is the food issue, and burning through so much while mining and the lack stamina that follows it. In 18, I could pretty much swing the iron pick without draining my staima at similar levels except I hardly ever used sexy Rex, and now I've got two levels and seems to little effect. I've found little food/meat or seeds to grow my own food. So I basically have to give up mining until I find a lot more food or an auger.
