You can't biome restrict pois for starters in a vanilla game so of you do it to 1 all biomes will be impacted.
Then you would need to fill the outsides of each poi with terrain to the level you want then adjust the ground level on poi.

MORE ANIMALS - added more variety to each biome as well
ANTI BLOCK BULLETS - glass, paintings and really weak blocks like cloth can still be damaged.

It be cool to take over a gas station with one of the large propane tanks and be able to fill it up with petrol you find that you don't need to use and have it as storage and you can then use the pumps if there is petrol in the tanks to fill your vehicle
You have what seems to be the wrong folders in the mods folder for some mods.
Open each folder if you see a modinfo.xml then that folder is correct.
However if you open the folder and there is another folder then that folder is wrong and you need the Inside folder in the mods folder.
Then try again and post new log if any errors
Comparing 7dtd to minecraft lol.
You can tell the difference in graphics easily.
But optimising before adding all core features etc is only gonna cause issues and those optimisations are useless then.
But some optimisations are done each alpha but the big optimisations will come after they finish implementing everything.
They haven't finished the game and both editors have alot of work needed on them which will come. So them holding off on doing anything I can see being good cause it can all change after it is done.
The way of preffabbing has done so as proof how we use to do it back in a11 to how we do it now.
