  3. Well, quicker crafting was the general all-in-one perk for making crafting faster, rather than how it is now where you have to perk into 3 different things just to the get the same net effect.
  4. So far, I like the dense urban core parts of the cities and how tiles are laid out. I just hope there is further improving on it, like right now. Like my vision of how RWG cities would be to have an actual sprawling suburban area leading into a commercial zone, then roads leading off into industrial areas. Right now, they're all packed into one zone. I want cities to have borders actually delineating that hey this is a neighborhood and now you are going into the city proper with commercial shops. Also, I feel that RWG maps should use up more of the space, like the current map I'm on has 3 big cities and a smattering of towns. But, no towns to the extreme borders.

  6. Perhaps 22 - 2 then for activable time of night quests instead then? I can agree with it not being started 4 as it is considered morning. I consider 2 being still as night while 3 is closer to morning.
  7. Could night quest be activable from 22 - 4 instead of the 22 - 1? Would give more leeway when having to travel from one quest to another.

  12. Hm... one of the options I would like to see with the drone is a follow distance. Right now, there are times where the drone gets up right into you face.
  13. Any plans to give the pipe baton a stun effect? Could last for 2 - 4 seconds. Seeing as it is a baton and all. As for an indicator showing the pipe baton is ready to stun, maybe an overhead strike animation or a shove animation with the pipe baton horizontally. Wait or a leg strike as it is done in real life by some officers.
  14. Hm.. I would have to agree on getting a primitive crossbow considering there are stone bolts. It feels awkward in terms of progession to get an iron crossbow but, then at that point you probably would then by now have a forge. Meaning you no longer have or need stone bolts and are instead already able to make iron bolts.
  15. Indeed, I should redact my comment regarding knives needing to be buffed. As I believe they have been already, lol. I don't know what difficulty you play but, the server I play on is set to Warrior. And I have consistently counted power attacks and for most zombies, specifically normal zombies it takes around 3 power attacks to the head when not stealthier. THREE! Mind you that is using a bone knife. Stealth obviously is a one hit kill.
  16. My personal issue with clubs is that in terms of weapon "meta" they are the de facto top tier weapon. I also think it's because clubs have multiple mods that basically make it powerful. Such as the barbed wire mod (adds bleed chance), metal chain mod (knockdown effect). Not to mention that a player can do the combo of burning shaft mod (fire) + barbed wire mod or burning shaft + metal chain. Now I understand that obviously weapons should NOT be all on par with each other. I just want their niches to at least be buffed, I guess? Like knives maybe give them a higher base dismemberment chance. Spears be stackable I suppose.

  18. Primarily questing if a person is able to finish multiple quest within several days. They then get the special quest to go to another trader. So far on the MP server I play on, just by doing the special job quest to go to other traders. From Trader Hugh, I was sent to two Trader Joels.

  20. I think what the OP is wanting is a visual barrier so to speak akin to how buried treasure quests have that yellow border. To show where specifically the out of bounds would be for POI's during a quest. For most POI's the boundary is square shaped. So if for example the poi has a mailbox, just assume that going past that 1 - 2 meters away you'll no longer be within the quest area.

  24. Well, zombies can swim that was implemented in A19 and also if the person is driving the boat vultures will spawn as well. So, yeah I agree with you on a boat. Also, @faatal showed off a boat in the A20 dev diary as well.
  25. Note that I know that some of the things I've dreamed on are already available via mods. But, in my opinion mods shouldn't be requirement just to see some of these. Inventory Ideas Bigger backpack Nothing too fancy just an extra row. So, it'll have 50 inventory slots in total vs vanilla of 45. It will also make investing in the strong back perk something you'd probably want to do now since you have more inventory to be encumbered by. Lock inventory slots Being able to lock inventory slots would be a nice quality of life feature. It especially helps out when after a busy day of looting or depositing things in my chest that I won't have to worry about depositing something I didn't want to. Sort by Price Honestly, we really need in my opinion the ability to sort by price. Since traders are, well for some an integral part of their game play and being able to simply click a button. And have the most valuable things sorted already? Makes selling to the trader easy to do. Pinning Recipes Another in my opinion, quality of life addition. Pinning recipes would be helpful since some of us get forgetful and who wants to waste time having to reopen crafting menu to remember materials needed? Other games have something similar, why not 7 Days to Die. Skill Perk Ideas Lock picking Perk Change This is more of an overhaul to have more blocks be lock-pick able such as doors. Now what I'm thinking is to have the perk if doors and other blocks can pick locked is to. Give each level of lock picking an easier chance to lock pick said item. So, for example without lvl 3 of lock picking you can still try to pick the lock of safe, but it'll be time-consuming and harder. Item Ideas Scrap Weapon & Tools Tier Beating a dead horse, but to me it feels so jarring that essentially for much of the starting end and middle part of the game. A player will be using a stone axe until they decide its worthwhile to use an iron axe or tool. The way I see it basically goes from primitive age and then all of sudden once you have a forge, bam! You are now in the industrial age or part of it anyway. Having a scrap tier would ensure consistency. Furthermore, all scrap weapons and tools can be repaired with scrap iron. Prefab & Builder ideas More vehicle blocks Primary something for prefab builders. Having additional new vehicle blocks like a firetruck, police car, or any other generic vehicle would be nice. Having those would be useful when making specific prefabs such as a fire station having an actual firetruck. Or say with A20 creating a car scene and having a police car. Vehicle & Mod Ideas BMX bike frame: Increases bunny hop distance. Not compatible with Mountain bike frame. Mountain bike frame: Gives increased traction for the bicycle on gravel and dirt blocks. Not compatible with BMX bike frame. Bicycle basket: Unlocks 1 additional row of inventory for the bicycle. Can be stacked. Additional Drone mod ideas HAM Radio Unit: Functions as a portable trader device that allows you to accept quests. However, you must still head to the physical trader location to turn-in quest. Portable Mailbox: An upgrade for the HAM Radio Unit, this will allow you to turn-in a quest instead of having to head to the physical location of trader. But drone will be unavailable for 1 in-game hour. Chef-o-Matic Feeder: Similar to the healing mod, this instead allows the drone to feed you with food or drink that is in its inventory. Wildlife scanner: Scans the area for any type of animal and tracks it on your compass for 30 seconds. Can be toggled to auto-scan, however, has a cool-down period of 1 in-game day. Requisite: Targeting Array & Radar Dome. Not compatible with Ore Sniffer. Targeting Array: Gives the drone ability to target NPCs. Radar Dome: Gives the drone ability to scan area. Ore Sniffer: Scans the area for any type of ore and tracks it on your compass for 30 seconds. Can be toggled to auto-scan, however, has a cool-down of 1 in-game day. Requisite: Radar Dome. Not compatible with Wildlife Scanner. Combat AI: Allows the drone to be an offensive unit. Required for Turret attachment & Stun Pulse attachment.
