  1. Made a ticket on it, confirmed
  2. This has been fixed for a future patch
  3. The "bull in the china shop" option would be to delete the vehicles.dat file, but I'd be curious for a log file, not too sure how workstation recipe handling is related to a 4x4, if you want to upload your world and game save I wouldn't mind loading it up and taking a look at it though.
  4. You can do this in game, just enter admin add NAME 0 replace name with your friend's name. If it has a space, wrap it in quotes. Using my name for an example: admin add Jugginator 0 admin add "Jugginator but with spaces" 0 To remove your friend, admin remove Jugginator
  5. The bloodmoon will begin again once you are spotted by/aggroed a zombie.
  6. Shells are in a different spot because they have AOE, which also is affected by perks. In the cases with hipower and upgraded arrow tips, those are pure upgrades.
  7. I'll have a look at this at some point soon, but I do want to bring up that damage isn't everything. The fact that slugs are effective from a much larger distance than shells with more accuracy and penetration means that there has to be some trade off, since shotgun shells are only good at a very close range, and if you want ALL the pellets to hit the target you're aiming at then you have to be point-blank -- slugs don't need point blank. Another example, being on top of bars shooting down at zombies on a horde night: with shells, you need to only have 3 - 4 m distance which is risky and mostly enemies may be hit with only one pellet or two - if lucky, more - while with the slug you can be double that and still hit things with full force. If slugs hit further, are more accurate and more accurate at a longer distance, they do more damage at longer ranges, they penetrate 50% armor and penetrate two targets as a base, AND did more per-shot damage than shells -- why would anyone use shells unless they didn't have any slugs? That aoe is not worth it then.
  8. Yeah that GPU should not be that hot. And I will reiterate that stress testing isn't always indicative of stability. People like gamers nexus do wonderful work but they don't push the fact that stress testing and benchmarks are not exactly good indicators of stability for general usage, like playing a complicated game. I was too pushy with my undervolting/overclocking with my CPU when I first got it (used the new automatic curve optimizer from AMD and set my core clocks higher on boost) and it would sometimes crash with 7 days and another game, think it was csgo. Previously, I ran all sorts of stress testing for hours straight and no issues. Load up into 7 days or csgo and it may crash after 10 - 30 minutes or after a couple of hours. I bumped up the voltage to my 2 main cores by a tiny bit and it's been stable ever since. So, in summary, stress tests don't always hit the breaking point.
  9. Hmm, I'll have a look at that when I get done with some other things on my Linux machine. Yeah, I've looked at your report too, I'm not sure if it's a Linux issue or Valve or the game, to be honest, I've had a TON more trouble with Linux lately for some reason than I used to. I had to do a bunch of stuff I shouldn't have had to just to get a proper GPU driver installed on Ubuntu. I was having weird issues with Proton myself, it seemed Steam wasn't installing it properly, then trying to NOT use proton was a pain, it kept doing what it was doing to you lol. Anyway, I'll have another look at it soon.
  10. For what it's worth, the game should run without Proton or anything. My linux machine runs the game out of the box with no other packages like that.
  11. Try turning off SS Reflections and maybe SSAO, we do know of some issues related to certain hardware/driver configurations, but typically, blue screens/reboots happen when the system/hardware were asked to do something they couldn't handle at the moment. Might be worth getting BlueScreen from the sysinternals tool set and have a look or post here what the information is in it.
  12. Having a no-go on reproducing this atm, checking out alternative reproductions, but if anyone has any other information that would be appreciated. Went to an area with a lot of trees Shut the server down, deleted the region files Loaded back in, trees were fine Went to an area with a lot of trees Destroyed a whole bunch of them Shut the server down, deleted the region files Loaded back in, trees were fine Went to an area with a lot of trees Destroyed a whole bunch of them Went to a region far away from that one Shut the server down, deleted the region files Loaded back in, went to the region, trees were fine Erm, well okay then right after I posted this I found a tree that duplicated. Going to say confirmed, will do some more investigation into this for other cases and make a report
  13. I have a hunch that it may be something with POI updates at quest locations, maybe tied to an active quest and it gets updated? Not sure, I will check that area out; if you have extra information (think the chain of events leading to getting the issue, try to recall everything you can) please do update.
  14. Does setting the graphics options to Lowest help? I'm specifically wondering if any of the reflection settings are causing this
  15. This is a work in progress, see here for up to date discussions on this bug However, it would be helpful to know what happened leading up to this event. Things like: was this place quested at before (what kind of quests), were other players around with you playing -- if so, were you all doing quests together or separately, things like this.
  16. Sorry, this may have been lost in translation, but what does "We drive up to a huge lake" mean here? Your step 1 has leaving your friend at the base while you go to the ass of the world, which I think means the edge/end of the world? Is it: One player goes to the edge of the world Other player drinks beer The player at the edge picks the friend up Then you two drive to a huge lake together?
  17. This doesn't happen in vanilla, you likely have remnants of the mod that is causing this.
  18. Moving this to can't reproduce, if this is related to SS Reflections or not, do post back though either way. This will be open, and we do have a known issue with some reflections causing certain combinations of GPU/drivers/
  19. I have not heard anything like this yet, I just tried it myself. Post a log file on Pastebin and maybe someone can spot an issue
  20. Yeah this is something that's being worked on, make sure you reload the game in between world generations. If you do see a generation hanging for 20 minutes it's a good guess that it broke (or at least not worth your time waiting forever for it) and I would force close the game and try a new seed (or the same one, just delete the partial progress it did in the generated worlds folder). Anti-virus exceptions also help this out in some cases.
  21. I went ahead and made a ticket on this. Hopefully, we can get a complete version check and kick clients with version differences to the main menu with a helpful error box response.
  22. Does turning off SS Reflections in the options help?
