I was fine with it in a20 and below, but the new ones just bug for me for some reason, like I sometimes cringe irl when I hear them.... I can't be the only one right? The out of place ones could just be because of familiarity with the old ones, but the really bad ones, like the eating sound we are discussing, are unexplainable. Sounds like someone eating with loose wooden dentures clacking together in a mouthful of too wet pudding. hotpoon Posted June 23, 2023 Share Posted June 23, 2023 The graphics (with the exception of the sickly looking character models and hairstyles, and UI that looks like it was design on Word) in this game has gotten better and better over the years, but the sounds are worse than ever. Especially the level up and party invite sounds - they have such a negative gong to them, it sounds like you’re being punished for something. Lasher Posted June 23, 2023 Share Posted June 23, 2023 I think the hunger sound is one of the worst for me - I've never thought it sounded like "I'm Hungry" but more like "I'm about to have an enormous bought of explosive diarrhoea." So much so that it's become an ingame joke that whenever one of us makes the hunger sound we'll say "Sorry lads, but I've just..."
