  1. There is an issue with the current version of Unity and Mac PC's. Especially the ones with the new CPU's. You are advised to run it via Rosetta. (I'm pretty sure this is listed in the Patch notes also.)
  2. Logs and details on your setup would be quite useful.
  3. It's always sold out. And when it's actually in stock, I can't spare the coin to buy it. It's like my nemesis or something.
  4. For me it's the tourist. Second place goes to the Janitor. Only because he's kind of boring, and I seem to run into him all the time in cities.
  5. Ok, so I looked up N.H.N., and this is what I got... A quick search on N.H.D's C.O.O. was just as vague.... I then looked up New Horizens Nation... (Note that I spelled it exactly as it is in the image. If you look up "New Horizen'ss Nation" the first result is a rehab clinic.") So please forgive me if I take most of your wall of text with a bit of disdain. And seriously, most of your post is pretty much BS. It absolutely shows that you did not do any actual research, and have no clue about what actually is going on. Let's analyze why just a little bit. No one said this ever. What was said was that it wasn't cost-effective. It's actually financially prohibitive to spend several million dollars to do a small patch with no further gain. (We'll come back to the "small patch" in more detail in a minute.) When the next Console version is released in a few years, this won't be the case any longer. It's a supply issue that will very likely be resolved before the end of this year. So far as I can tell based on the searches done above, this means hardly anything. You might as well say, "I do know that you have NBA players registered and playing your game". I suppose they forgot to check the rules and regulations that Sony and Microsoft have set in their respective stores for products sold when they came up with this statement. It's absolutely un-enforceable. If an update to a released title would break/invalidate existing players save games, it is not allowed. I said a minute ago we would come back to this, and here we are. Any update to the console version past Alpha 15 would at a minimum reset player progress, and generally would require a completely new save. Currently existing saves would be invalid, and unplayable. So there is not likely any "Game law" that states what you claim. Not one that would hold up in court anyway. Yeah sorry, this doesn't hold much water either. Oh here we go again.... The best result I could find was that third one, and it is obviously completely unrelated to what you've got upstairs. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo under investigation for consumer rights violation | GamesIndustry.biz You apparently missed the parts where TFP repeatedly stated that they are not a console developer, and have no intention of being one? I honestly mean no offense here, but it's a real pipedream. I mean, it sounds nice and all. Good luck though. It's been about profits for longer than computer games have existed. Sorry to match a wall with a wall, but seriously. At least try to stick to reality to some degree, and try reading the thread before posting again.
  6. To be clear, 7 Days to die only supports a maximum player count of 8 players. Rust on the other hand is designed for many more players. (The Rust dev has not announced any limit to the number, they merely state that your max count is based on your hardware limitations. They have also stated testing up to 13 internally without an issue from what I could find, but the details are extremely fuzzy.) It should also be noted that the player count relies a lot on the hardware behind the server. Rust is not a fully 3D voxel game with complex structural integrity and AI calculations, so it requires a lot less hardware to do the same things. You're basically comparing apples to oranges, and saying TFP should change their fruit. Never mind that in doing so, it would require a complete rebuild, and totally alienating their current player base.
  7. Pretty sure it's the Occlusion bug. Disable occlusion at the main menu, and that should take care of it.
  8. Can't help you without any real information. Please read Pinned threads before posting a new thread.
  9. Did some playing around with this error yesterday for science. Did not find it to cause any problems at all.
  10. Most likely because you didn't install your GPU drivers after the updates finished. More information is needed though. Please read the Pinned threads.
  11. Just an update to this. The Corsair PSU failure managed to also fry my motherboard. Spent Friday working with Asus support, and luckily my board was still under warranty. Sadly I have no gaming PC for a couple of weeks while the RMA is handled.
  12. Commands can change every build. cp is currently extremely buggy, and you are not advised to use it. It's listed in the Known Issues for a20 in five or six different ways. Some of the graphic commands have been changed, or removed, or baked into the client. Some are even now set defaults or player options. You can read through the patch notes for some information on them.
  13. Yeah, more specific details on what you're doing would be useful. Based on what it sounds like you're saying, you are just randomly connecting to other people's games. Which would explain why your stuff doesn't appear to be saving. It is being saved, but only in each specific mp match you are joining. Your data doesn't carry across different players games. If you wanted to continue a mp game you were playing, you would have to connect to that same mp server again. As for getting kicked, there are a number of possible things going on there. Maybe the host stopped playing, or it was a network issue; or possibly they realized you had joined, didn't want the company, and gave you the boot. Again, more detailed information would be helpful in determining what is happening.
  14. To expand on this even more, all TFP got from the auction was their rights to the assets back. They didn't get the code for the console version. This subject has already been discussed to death in the mega-thread, and yet another thread hashing over the same complaints is not needed. OP, take some time to read the thread. If you have something new to add, post it there.
  15. With code optimizations in the console edition of Unity it may be possible, and TFP has said that they would like to make it backwards compatible. I'm not going to hold my breath though.
  16. @JaxTeller718 I'm pretty sure we didn't have this issue before with the bigger wandering hordes. Seeing it now though...
  17. I think it has more to do with how times are rounded. The time it takes to process is based on the "weight" of the material. If you count 1000 individual items that are 1.3 grams and round each items weight value you get 1000. If you take them as a solid stack, it's 1300.
  18. Yep, get a refurb of the same model pretty easily as long as I still have the physical receipt. (They did not like my digital receipt from MicroCenter at all.) But if you're just going to be repeating the process every couple of years, what is the point? I've had issues with Corsair's for well over a decade now. Had heard they had made major strides in quality, so I gave them a chance again. Won't make that mistake a second time.
  19. I've found the Corsairs to be less reliable again. I just replaced one that was barely a year and a half old. Since this is the third I've had to replace in the past 5 years, (not the same computer, but similar ages on each PSU), I chose to get something completely different. Grabbed an MSI on sale for only $10 more, and it's got a 10-year warranty.
  20. Before the option to set a limit, there was no limit. Then the limitation was added, and there was a config line to configure the limit with the default being one. Pretty sure the change was in a18 with the config file. Should be listed in the patch notes under server settings.
  21. Yeah, that's how it should work. I usually test the url in the web browser first.
  22. If the server is unlisted, it won't show up. I would recommend making a desktop shortcut for a stem connect url to the server.
  23. Our groups server run on 710's with Ubuntu 20.04 and LGSM. I would advise generating the map on a PC and then just loading the map on the server. Failing that, logs are useful.
  24. Almost missed this because you posted in the incorrect section. As far as server hardware goes, that isn't a bad setup. Ensure that your RAM timing is actually correct in UEFI though. As you aren't running anything else on it, I would strongly recommend switching to Linux. 10-15% better server performance, and if you use a tool like LGSM, it makes maintaining the server with restarts and updates stupid simple. Plus you can run the server longer before requiring a restart than Windows will due to fewer memory leak issues. Simple guide is here. If you would care to post a log, I could look into your issue more. Hard to really tell you anything off of a bad screen capture with no real information to add. Instructions are in the Pinned thread that you missed because you didn't go to the support section.
  25. It used to be a forum section, but was moved to the new report format when the forum was upgraded because it's tons easier to manage the bug reports with.
