  1. You'd use a quest similar to the trader quest, but going to a custom poi, that has a custom sleeper volume that has custom entities to kill.
  2. A lot of the mods come with custom ui's, and any that have custom workstations would break with a ui mod not designed for it.
  3. Oh if jax cherry picked prefabs from compo then he likely didn't change block id's (just added them) which means the compatibility with compo would be there... Tallons issues are likely something else then, neat. Probably another mod that DOES come with a blocks.xml... Compo is just prefabs and rwgmixer.xml, and of course you're absolutely right, overwriting rh's mixer would diminish the mod.
  4. I'm not building them in flatworld, I build them on a prefab server so it's a little more complicated to create meshes from that. =) ...Stomp had mentioned you did mag's batch, I think we both assumed that meant you had a batch method of doing it; no biggie, I'll get around to it eventually. I did get smart and used easy prefab names when I exported... rural01 ... rural50, so that'll be nice. Thanks anyway!
  5. Slaan, I hear you have a quick way of generating meshes? I've 85 to do... Walk me through it?
  6. If jax changed block id's then you're out of luck.
  7. #canuckgate ...too many of you...
  8. Actually, you had me at "being 100 percent upfront about it." - - - Updated - - - ...that, and your reasoning actually makes sense. =)
  9. Wait... You're joking about the streamers, right?
  10. Even my dumb-ass "learned" sdx, as it's pretty easy these days thanks to Sphereii and Xyth... and I quote "learned" because it really is as simple as checking a box, hitting build and then hitting play. Can it get more complicated? Sure, but not for things like adding other peoples sdx mods to your own. You should check it out, it's not going to change dramatically once a17 hits.
  11. And you do it in an i3? Nice. =)
  12. I've seen water become water moving when placing, depending on how fast it places the block and whether or not its supporting water blocks get placed AFTER the change to water moving... If that makes sense.
  13. If you changing the mixer from a vanilla to tins the new game is going to be required as the newly explored chunks are going to be vastly different and have really sharp Cliffs compared to the vanilla mixer. But I'm only assuming that you're coming from a vanilla mixer.
  14. Word is we have alloc and Chris (one of the main pimps) to thank for it, so we all need to go give alloc some lovin'. =)
  15. It works by block name. And it's not random information if you know where to look.
  16. Yeh now it's no block id's. Check nearer to his last few messages on the dev diary.
  17. In light of the new block format (no id numbers) in a17, I hope you're planning ahead and also figuring out a converter.
  18. Make sure Windows firewall and/or other software firewalls are set up as well.
  19. ... I was not expecting the bee gee's, but that was awesome. =)
  20. Maybe instead of "2" label the meta tags for their uses in that certain block?
  21. Nicely done; and now I also understand a bit more about dumps.
  22. Found a post by my favorite russian. Let's see if it works. =)
  23. Huh... how do you replace audio clips?
