  1. This looks like this was touched upon in recent updates. Click and hold doesn't turn the markers on and off, nor does scrolling the map over the cursor passing through a marker.
  2. Perhaps try the Network Workaround option in the General settings area. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary, is this still going on? Feel free to respond back here.
  3. This is an old mod compatibility bug from the looks of it.
  4. Yeah GLcore won't run very well on a windows machine. If you need help getting DirectX back on, go into the Launcher and switch the Renderer to DirectX
  5. Not an issue, A21 saves aren't compatible with A20. There are two parts to this: The game save and the generated world, you're likely trying to make a new game save on an A20-generated world, so you just need to make a new world (or play Navezgane/one of the Pregens)

That isn't exactly a cause for the save corruption, but it adds a large latency between communications, so if there's enough instability then the data can just crap out, leaving to too much bad data. Things are being worked on as we speak, but solving the failure to connect via LiteNetLib and maybe having clients that are afflicted to use the Network Workaround option in the General settings can help.
  7. Is there any particular reason you really want those cvars cleared after they die? Asking because in that example, neither the visual nor audio effects are playing.
  8. Sorry with how these bug reports with with images, I can't see what's going on in there at all. But, those are all filters, if you don't have any selected it'll say "All" up on the top left there. If you really just can't get anything, please send us a log and screenshots https://community.7daystodie.com/announcement/11-report-an-alpha-21-bug/
  9. Yeah a log file can help. All achievements are working on our end, so maybe we can spot something. https://community.7daystodie.com/announcement/11-report-an-alpha-21-bug/
  10. Are you both having this issue still? This issue has been a complete ghost, so if this is happening any information (logs, event viewer, dxdiag, what uncommon programs are running e.g. asus armory crate, etc) would be appreciated. Also, windows updates/bios updates/driver updates.
  11. Yeah this is one of those things that needs to be addressed with the new character system with some code support. I'll add something more generalized on the KI list since it's become quite congested over time. Thanks!
  12. This may have been fixed, I ran a macro at various ms delays and couldn't reproduce it.
  13. Heya, are you having this issue frequently? If so, can you walk me through the steps you did to do this?
  14. Heya. Have you been running okay at any point? Feel free to send a ping if so, we would need to do some hardware-level troubleshooting.
  15. We are working on save redundancy and stability, but it honestly could be a number of things. Try to ask your son what he can recall doing before logging out (using a mod feature, doing x + y + z, etc). Also firewall exception on his end and maybe the Network Workaround options. Something is causing instability here, not sure what yet.
  16. It's anti-aliasing in some machines, g or free sync in others, some monitors do it some don't, some games do it some don't, some do it for some machines some don't do it for others, it's a mess as of late. If this is something we can do on our end, we will definitely do so, however. But please do list your system specs (specifically: GPU, OS, Monitor) if you don't mind.
  17. There are dev items that will help you regain what you lost. Enter "cm" in the F1 console, click the dev blocks button "looks like some buildings" in the creative menu (U, or click the light bulb) and enter "dev" We're working on save redundancy, though.
  18. I looked this us, it's Linux specific. Looks like user-set? This error message usually occurs when a user tries to run a graphical application as root. The error message indicates that the XDG_RUNTIME_DIR environment variable is not set. This variable is used by graphical applications to store runtime information. You can try running the application as a regular user instead of root. If you still encounter the error, you can try setting the XDG_RUNTIME_DIR environment variable manually. Please note that setting this variable manually can be dangerous and should only be done if you know what you are doing.
  19. I have not been able to reproduce it, but we've been working on occlusion and related whatnots, so I'll revisit this still yet.
  20. This game requires a pretty solid (stable) connection due to the mass of data being handled. Optimizations are being made, but in the meantime things like: Host having ports forwarded properly and antivirus exceptions (on both the game folder and the save folder) Clients having exceptions in antiviruses Struggling clients (like the desync ones) using the Network Workaround option in the General section in the options. Do respond back if you need further troubleshooting, however.
  21. This is lumped in the general animations are WIP section of the KI list, we're aware of a plethora of guns/animations/reloads bugs, thanks for bringing it up! It's all going to be polished up with the new character system.

  23. Is this still happening? If so, can you snag an output from the event viewer log? You will see this in the Applications section
  24. Yeah this is part of a larger problem with how that's tracked, you can see if by teleporting/god mode flying/etc. Something I want to look at.
