  1. It was a thing as recently as A16, which is when I started playing the game.
  2. I mean, it was already a thing in previous versions and had been for a long time, so I don't know why they removed it for the ones that already had that feature.
  3. It is literally referred to in the XMLs as "parcel", to be fair.
  4. This used to be a thing in previous versions with all the canned foods, and I specifically remember it in Alpha 16 with the Meat Stew and Blueberry Pie, but are the different textures for different foods in your hand going to come back? That was legitimately a major reason I stuck with Alpha 16 for the entirely of A17's lifespan because I don't like that all the foods are now just the "parcel." I'd love for this to come back, even if with a relatively limited number of foods at first.
  5. I checked the known issues list and didn't see it. I believe it is that same animation and I've also noticed smoke coming out the muzzle when I switch to a long rifle in my hotbar as well.
  6. I'm putting this here despite finding this bug quite silly, but some guns will visually eject ammunition when switching to it in the hotbar if the magazine is not full. I've noticed this with the Auto Shotgun and Sniper Rifle, both of which have a magazine extender on them. This potentially applies to other firearms as well, but I've only noticed it recently with specifically these two.
  7. It appears to be a bug tied to the world, somehow. I tried recreating it in a different world and it did not happen. That's incredibly strange.
  8. Some injuries appear to count down seconds too slowly. I've noticed this with treated abrasions and plaster casted broken legs. I have level three Healing Factor, and these two injuries seem to count down one second every few real-time seconds. If it helps, I'm playing on 30-minute 24-hour cycles.
  9. It's been One Shot for quite a while now, but I find that completing the Shotgun Messiah books just makes using shotguns in most POIs annoying at best and unviable at worst. I don't know what One Shot could be replaced with, but the only thing I've ever deliberately used it for is knocking down trees that were too close to my ramparts but too far to reach with an axe. Perhaps it could be replaced with something where shotgun pellets pierce zombies when fired at close range?
  10. Sometimes, after crouching with the CTRL button, (I have not yet encountered this with the C button), my sprint will no longer work and in fact, slow me down slightly. The only way I've figured out how to fix this bug is by relogging. I'm not entirely sure what causes the sprint issue, because it's happened when crouch-walking under things and also crouch-walking outside. It happened several times in a row underneath the stairs in the basement of the Navezgane structure that I believe is called "Marvin's Getaway", forcing me to repeatedly restart the quest I had at that POI.
  11. But that's the thing, I can't go looting if I have no drinks on me.
  12. I have fewer problems with the fact that jars were removed. That I can live with. I find it very silly, kind of dumb, and fun decreasing that potable water and other drinks have since been made impossibly rare to find, plus the fact that boiling water takes 40 seconds per operation. I would have no problems with just one of these, but in combination, they make the game less fun for me. I typically play on quicker time settings, (20 or 30 real-world minutes per in-game 24 hour cycle), so 40 seconds for one boiled water takes up too much of my time I could otherwise be using to loot, especially when I have no other drinks due to them not being found in loot anymore. I request that one or both of these changes be reverted. The dew collector is fine, but don't try to shove it down the playerbase's throats like this.
  13. I don't know how alone I am on this or whether this is a change that's going to happen, but I much preferred the Alpha 15 and 16 temperature system where there was a flat insulation value and you could die of freezing as opposed to just having side effects of getting hungry or thirsty faster. Also, as a side note, I very much liked it when you could see different types of food in your hand, like the canned Sham being visible as canned Sham as opposed to the little "parcel".
