Hi, one more news:

I don´t know. It´s crazy.

On my server the building i can view fully normal. Copied or not new generation etc, everytime

i can see the building inside for example like here:

If i save the Prefab and load it on a singleplayer game on my PC

the grafic is damaged everytime. I have two PCs. The second PC is fully new with a new installation this weekend.

The same problem. On my older pC (One year old) i have installed also the newest Geforce driver., no change.

I have cleaned the profile and install new, nothing helps.

The damaged grafic looks like here for example:

The building looks like crap in all rooms. It´s no fun to build further if the result is only black in black.

If anybody has an idea please write me here.

Not sure if this will help but... roll back the nvidia driver... I say this because I've had nothing but problems with the newest (388.XX?) drivers from them so I rolled mine all the way back to 385.69 and not had any problems (as of yet).

The newest driver was crashing my browser while I watched videos on YouTube (like, wtf?) and my gameplay (everygame) was shyte.

They (nvidia) really need to stop 'kramming' 500 different series of cards into one driver-installer and start seperating the newest cards from the older one as driver packages.

 

It may or may not help your issue... I'm just spitballing for you here.

Thx for your answer. I thought of it too because someone has written it in the steamforum.

I think i will do it, but the weird is that the grafic is normal when playing on my server.

If it is an geforce problem then it would be on both, not only on my singleplayer game.

I think it is a problem with the saved prefab data, but i have no idea how to repair.

I have reading that someone has deactivated the glcode. But both i have no

idea how and where. The thing with the older nvidia driver i will test tomorrow.

Could someone of you insert this prefab and look if this problem is there too ?

I have not been able to re-create the problem in any world.

With Nav I gotta place the prefab so I thought that may alter the result.

I did it anyways, several time in different biomes, to see if biome-specefic spectrum's had any effect.

None, and no weird "foggyness" was present and colors seemed fine to me.

I assigned the prefab to the mixer.xml in several locations as to not influence any strange behaviour by importing (force-spawning) but once again I did not detect any thing wrong at several of the locations, in all the different biomes.

 

What I did notice, in general, not just with your Hospital, is that "Reflections" add a haze (almost like a fog) to the distantly viewed objects, wether they be walls, floors, furniture, whatever... this 'haze', created by the light-reflection is more than likely "layering" itself over and over and over again as you look towards a far away item, which could be what you are seeing. I did see a lot of reflective refraction up and down the "mezzanine". All that glass is bouncing a lot of light, shadow and... you guessed it... reflections all over the place.

 

Think about it like this... If i have one peice of Cling-wrap, I can see thru it... but if put another peice and another peice and another peice and so on and so fourth then eventually I can't see thru the Cling-wrap anymore. I think thats whats happening to your prefab. I don't know... I'm just throwing out some of my observations. Not having the same 'gear' doesn't help (video card/PC) but, above that, not being able to recreate the problem is what really inhibits me from being any help at all.

 

Anyways I don't use reflections myself but did use them in my testing, even though they 'tanked' my frames... so did the prefab by the way, but whatever... "it's for the embetterment of mankind".

It may just be my old GTX 560ti or the way I have my nVidia Control Panel adjusted but for me reflections just look krappy (like everything is coated in shiny Cling-wrap) and all the shinyness is not my zombie apocalypse... nope, nope, nope.

 

Sry I took so long getting back to you but I wanted to be thorough about troubleshooting this.... plus I love solving problems (not that it's solved, but) Wish I coulda' been more help. Good luck getting 'er figured out.

Thx for your work on my problem.

I havn´t figured it out too. On all servers the grafic is ok.

Only the testgame on my pc is broken everytime i generate it.

So if this problem is only on my pc i continue building. I only can´t test the result

for beeing ok. If there is any problem with my buildings write me.

U know I love to see apocalyptic prefabs with good detail-work and variety in it (ready to spawn with Sleepers and mesh hehehe ;) )

(thats the baseline i try to follow with all prefabs i have to handle)

The Restaurant is ready on the Top.

I don´t build damaged houses. I hope that one time the

FunPimps integrate 3-4 textures of one sort

clean texture, damaged texture, burned texture and rotten texture

And then you can make your building old or burned.

The rest you can make with a rocket launcher :)

That would be funny.

i have updated Alms House.(With Mesh, no Sleeper)

It´s a little bit more than an update, i have changed dozen of Blocks and Textures.

The biggest change is the ramp at the entrance. After 10times i have knocked with my head

against the ceiling i build a new one and inserted my new wheelchair so that the ramp make a sense.

Here are somes Pics:

Is that a restoration of one of the vanila prefabs? Regardless, looks great.

i am German and my english is not good, so that i must

use a translation book. What do you mean with the word

regardless ? In this book there stands a not nice translation.

I did it again.

This time i renovate the Manorhouse by WereWulfen. (With Mesh, no Sleepers)

I love this building, but i must change almost every texture.

So hope you like it a little bit.
