TAA antialiasing

As a long player for many years I have been waiting for so long to see TAA antialiasing support or the option to switch between different once. The force of 1 specific antialiasing is not cutting it for many. It is a effecting our game experience to the worse, up to the point of the game been unplayable due to simply not having the right antialiasing for us. Please, add a proper antialiasing so we can finally actually enjoy the game.

I used to always play with anti aliasing turned on in games. Then I realized when you are actively moving through any game, you don't notice anti aliasing at all. the only time you do is when you are staring at screenshots. 

 

To say a game is unplayable for lack of options is quite the stetch.

fully agree and i cap all my vid settings to max (barring motion blur and DOF) i suffer from that crap in real life and dont want it in a game i play to get away from real life.

 

but back on track, i have "anti-aliasing" set to temporal and only see the difference when standing still to admire the beauty of the game... but when zombies are hot on my tail.. no time to stop and smell the roses. :)

3000+ hours so far, hasn't been unplayable for me

 

And with 3000+ hours into it, I must be finding some enjoyment in it  😁

Not to be rude but not 1 antialiasing satisfy everyone. Doing a little research learning what each antialiasing actual do to different monitors and why some suffer while others see no differences. My problem will not be your problem. Not every graphic cards render textures the same way neither every monitor displays them either. It is not unplayable to a degree like New World where it doesn't have antialiasing at all but it edges for textures are not smooth do to high refresh rate monitors. We are talking about 240hz monitors that you can perfectly clear every pixel across the map. For someone who uses a 60hz or even 144hz will most likely not see the difference. Same goes for 5k and 4k will have different issues that I don't have.

And there it is. Thats why you have SMAO, FXAA, TA, TAA and so on. Each person uses the one that fits them.

FXAA antialiasing that 7DTD has doesn't work for my setup. It looks like it has no antialiasing at all.
My problem is not your problem, others problems are not mine either. It is a common feature added to every single modern game just because of that reason.

8 years, and in any case, this is the kind of issue you would spend time working on during Beta development. Not while still in Alpha.

I am not the first person to say about is since this is the second time I posted about it because the first one got deleted by mods I guess, I will assume more sked for it but noone listened. 

I played the game for over 6 years and I got about 600 hours overall. I love game. But boy oh boy, add that antialiasing already dude. Its not that hard I know about development. I got 700 games on my steam and not a single complain about any other games. New world and 7 days to die are the exceptions. I live with a hope. That's it. Instead of people trying to silence me more, raise the issue further so it can be solved and allow us that do have the issue to enjoy the game too. We are not attacking the game. I dont like wasting my time. I just want it to get better.

Mods are not at fault if you can't find your own posts again. We neither want to waste our time with deleting posts

TAA is coming to Alpha 20.

No jokes? You have no idea what that means to me and many others. The previous article btw must have been 2 years ago and lost through updates of the page. I tried to follow my notification where people replied and I couldn't. it was giving me an error. So I assumed that it got censored/deleted.

I can't think of a reason why I would joke about TAA being utilized nor can I think of a reason why a topic on it would ever be censored or deleted.

I would really like the option to enable/disable triple buffering if it`s in the game.

 

Please consider adding the description under each method of sharpening the image. Knowing which GPU generation handles each solution more efficiently is what I look for.
