I love your 120 slot bigger bag and Crafting queues in your mod, I also love your mod but have some that just don't like the overhauls on my server at times. I was wondering have you made a standalone version yet 120 slot bigger bag and Crafting queues?

Well .. I'm not Sure what HAPPENED .. But with your UPDATE to mod .. Everything RESET to " 0 " .. I was level 32 with over 800 kills .. Now I'm level 1 and all points back to Start.

Just wanted to let you know.

PS: Latest Update that installed today from Mod Launcher

 

I was having Fun .. Now I have to start all over again

 

I SEE you have said New Game Needed (Needs to be Larger Type) so it catches the Eye better .. 2 things should be done .. Update First page also and is there a way to add Version into the game somewhere .. normally done on the load screen .. maybe with SMX stuff … Just a thought.

Update is only needed if a person wishes to start & then get all the new Quests, The fact your game reset is probably more to do with the game being in alpha & being unstable with mods cos ive installed this on my dedi every time & never had the issue... The AIO is ALways tested on SP & on a dedi so i catch 99% of any issues before hand... I figure that was just unlucky...

 

SMX isnt my mod so cant do anything with that im afraid...

Hello War3zuk,

im a server owner and ia have installed some of your great mods, but i have a little problem. HD Guns & Ammo mod...

This doesnt show in game, when i join the server as player or even as admin, i dont see HD AmmoBench and HD Weapons Bench !!!

All weapons i can see and craft or spawn...only the benches definitelly NO ! I have downloaded the latest update od your modpack...

Im using UK map that was posted on web "https://7daystodiemods.com", but i dont think that is the issue or ?

Covid-19 killed it for me. I think I'm staying in the current version. :(

 

Guppies Kill you in 10 mins.... Covid-19 takes an Hour... lol so not sure why youd dislike that over the other....

 

Ill check out the Modlet, I assume its the modlet your speaking of...

I was talking about the AIO mod change that introduced Covid-19. No offense, but Covid-19 is currently a world-wide nightmare in real life for many people. China decided to ban Plague Inc. which introduced Covid-19 in one of the latest updates and I can see why Chinese people dislike that. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing 7 Days to Die just like anyone else around here, but a zombie outbreak is one thing, it's unrealistic science fiction, well at least it's been that way for long years, but Covid-19 is very real and it's killing real people in real world as we speak, so I find it kinda inappropriate and disrespectful towards the victims of this real life virus to add this virus into a game even in form of a mod. I'm sure you didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings with this, but evidently this is the way some people feel about this (take Plague Inc. ban as an example) and honestly I don't blame them.

I didn't mean to start an argument and since you're comparing this to GTA, I believe there's no point trying to explain further if you didn't notice any difference there by now. Like I said, no offense intended, obviously it's your mod and you can do whatever you want with it and I'm just clarifying my feedback post up there, that's all I wanted to add regarding this.

Interesting bit of info for you, The following Viruses BrainPox , Krytos & Spattergroit are all real Viruses that killed many millions of people back in the 1600's+ lets just hope non of their relatives are on this forum as I wouldnt wish to offend haha

@War3zuk Hallo! Love the mod and, personally, the virus names you were using before were fine. The new names are more amusing, at least to me. Were you dredging up Star Wars or Warhammer 40k for Krytos? Brainpox I got straight away, since the Cobra bioweapon from "The Cobra Event" is based on the realworld disease that causes the condition. Is it Cerebumous Spattergroit or the rarer but more disgusting Pubicumous Spattergroit?

Are you planning to adjust (or is it possible to adjust) what gamestage the giant and rad critters start appearing? Running into 2 giant rad vultures within 5 minutes of starting was... exciting?

Ive adjusted those already in the AIO, updating the Modlet today some time as ive been busy working on the Regrow Modlets which will allow people to use the same map for longer without having to worry about major resources going like safes, Rocks & so on....

Started using your HD Guns and Ammo mod on our server and we are really enjoying. One issue we have found though is even after obtaining the schematics for the Winchester, Arctic Warfare, and the Dragunov these weapons remain uncrafteable. Server admins could pull them from the Creative Menu but no recipe was listed on the HD Gunbench or Player Craft menu.

The HD Guns & Ammo needs a bit of TLC as alot was added a while back which got me all mixed up as to what needed copying over... Ill check it out tomoz when at home & get a patch out...

 

Thank you for the response! The whole thing is still workable so no rush as those seem like late game weapons and everyone is still using basic pistols.

Hey War3zuk, Good job on your AIO here. Plays very fluidly and adds a LOT of new stuff to run away from!!

 

Couple concerns I wanted to bring up to you which may or may not have skipped through testing.

 

1) Certain items that require perks to be a certain level before crafting still cannot be crafted after requirements are met; Specifically this involves the Plaster Cast, and one other item (cannot remember right now). Slightly frustrating considering the Plaster Cast is a quest item for the medic skill-tree.

 

2) A lot of missing descriptions.. even more descriptions with simple grammatical/clerical errors. If you can direct me to the file that contains the item descriptions, I would be more than happy to go through them and spellcheck, grammar check, and make them all look more streamlined and professional if you would like. It's not something that's game-breaking but it does take away from the "polished" feel, you know?

 

3) Not necessarily a concern per se, but I was wondering if there was a way to disable the XXX/Suicide Girls/Zombie Tramp art modlets? My Wife and I play together and she doesn't like obscene/NSFW stuff like that. I want to make the experience as fun as possible for her and I don't want anything that could possibly dissuade her from playing with this mod in the future!

 

Again, this has really added to my overall 7DTD experience and I do want to thank you on being so proactive about updating/interacting with your supporters. I will continue to post here as any new issues arise.

 

EDIT: Cannot make the HD Auger as well. Wondering if this is to do with needing the HD Workbench? Building one as I type this comment so I will confirm.

 

EDIT 2: Confirmed above edit, You do need the HD Workbench to craft an HD Auger. However, I am still having the issue with the Plaster Cast. Will need to check to see if it is Chemistry Station only as it doesn't say what bench I need to be at to craft. Possibly due to the "quest item" marker overlapping the bench marker?

 

EDIT 3: Confirmed above, you have to be at the Chemistry Station to craft the Plaster Cast.

Upon further playing/playtesting, I think it would be really beneficial to the player to have "Craft X" quest objectives changed to "Gather X" objectives, as I've wasted considerable resources crafting the HD Generator, only to have to leave the bench to fight a zombie and come back to the Generator having already been made while I did not receive the objective completion. The same has happened for the HD Auger.
