Hey War3zuk, Good job on your AIO here. Plays very fluidly and adds a LOT of new stuff to run away from!!

Couple concerns I wanted to bring up to you which may or may not have skipped through testing.

1) Certain items that require perks to be a certain level before crafting still cannot be crafted after requirements are met; Specifically this involves the Plaster Cast, and one other item (cannot remember right now). Slightly frustrating considering the Plaster Cast is a quest item for the medic skill-tree.

2) A lot of missing descriptions.. even more descriptions with simple grammatical/clerical errors. If you can direct me to the file that contains the item descriptions, I would be more than happy to go through them and spellcheck, grammar check, and make them all look more streamlined and professional if you would like. It's not something that's game-breaking but it does take away from the "polished" feel, you know?

3) Not necessarily a concern per se, but I was wondering if there was a way to disable the XXX/Suicide Girls/Zombie Tramp art modlets? My Wife and I play together and she doesn't like obscene/NSFW stuff like that. I want to make the experience as fun as possible for her and I don't want anything that could possibly dissuade her from playing with this mod in the future!

Again, this has really added to my overall 7DTD experience and I do want to thank you on being so proactive about updating/interacting with your supporters. I will continue to post here as any new issues arise.

EDIT: Cannot make the HD Auger as well. Wondering if this is to do with needing the HD Workbench? Building one as I type this comment so I will confirm.

EDIT 2: Confirmed above edit, You do need the HD Workbench to craft an HD Auger. However, I am still having the issue with the Plaster Cast. Will need to check to see if it is Chemistry Station only as it doesn't say what bench I need to be at to craft. Possibly due to the "quest item" marker overlapping the bench marker?

EDIT 3: Confirmed above, you have to be at the Chemistry Station to craft the Plaster Cast.

Upon further playing/playtesting, I think it would be really beneficial to the player to have "Craft X" quest objectives changed to "Gather X" objectives, as I've wasted considerable resources crafting the HD Generator, only to have to leave the bench to fight a zombie and come back to the Generator having already been made while I did not receive the objective completion. The same has happened for the HD Auger.

First NO just update you dont need to restart.... now to the quote....

All items can be crafted, Plastercast was changed in a vanilla patch to only work fom the chembench...

Ive added as many as ive come across & yes probably is mistakes i fix them as i find them...

As for the XXX stuff its pretty tame & youll probably find your Misses doesnt want YOU looking at them cos women dont mind looking at women lol...

ALL HD stuff requires its HD bench the only exceptions are things like axes,blades things that normally get crafted in inventory

The vanilla game code sees inventory & benches as separate so theres nout i can do about you needing to be in the bench for it to count....

So that whole rant consisted of broken down lol :p plastercast which is vanilla & stop looking at xxx pics before your misses throws a wobbly hehe & I dont mind the interaction although its much easier in the discord channel as I get notified of that unlike this...

Yeah I noticed pretty much everything I was having issues crafting was due to the Quest marker overlapping the proper bench needed to craft said item; After fiddling between benches and getting the hang of what benches craft what sorts of items I was able to figure it out relatively easily.

The ONLY issue I have left is again, descriptions. Not that they aren't there, per se, but that they aren't streamlined with the Devs style of descriptions, and that quite a few items are missing key notes such as how they are repaired, where they are crafted, what ammo a certain weapon requires, etc. Again, I would be more than happy to go over your descriptions files and show you a draft of my edits if you're interested.

Thanks for the reply, and if you could give me your Discord either here or through PM I will gladly join it!

Hello, I have a small problem, I have a Linux root server (Buster) on this running successfully since 2015 ARK, now also CSGO.

Now I have installed 7 Day to Die, and put Wa3zuk on it, it runs but I can't update the mods, because it is not displayed.

I have 7 Day to Die installed with LinuxGSM, and there is the possibility with "./sdtdserver mi or mr and mu to make the mods a: Install, b: Remove and C: Updates.

The mods are listed in the installed-mods.txt, and they are recognized, I tested the server and it runs with it, but to update the mods I have to write them into the "mods_list.sh", but I don't know what to write there:

The only mod that is listed here is the Oxide:

# Oxides

oxiderustlatestlink="https://umod.org/games/rust/download/develop" # fix for linux build 06.09.2019

oxidehurtworldlatestlink=$(curl -sL https://api.github.com/repos/OxideMod/Oxide.Hurtworld/releases/latest | grep browser_download_url | cut -d '"' -f 4 | grep "Oxide.Hurtworld.zip")

oxidesdtdlatestlink=$(curl -sL https://api.github.com/repos/OxideMod/Oxide.SevenDaysToDie/releases/latest | grep browser_download_url | cut -d '"' -f 4)

And there under it I would have to insert the #War3zuk, as far as I am right

Can anyone help me? As my English is not perfect I have had this translated with Deepl

Greetings

PS, this is the "mods_list.sh

I would manually update it via FTP as its much safer , I dont no of any system that allows for it to be updated automatically via the direct github link & havent used Linux since pre 2000's In fact the last time I use it it was called Linux & that was the only Distro at the time.... Been on windows since then so im a gimp at it in understanding... You need a proper Linux Dude to answer this question

It seems you just need to find the values for those 13 values

And you got a template with this 7 days to die mod

mod_info_sdtdoxide=( MOD "sdtdoxide" "Oxide for 7 Days To Die" "${oxidesdtdlatestlink}" "Oxide.SevenDaysToDie.zip" "0" "LowercaseOff" "${systemdir}" "OVERWRITE" "ENGINES" "7 Days To Die;" "NOTGAMES" "http://oxidemod.org/downloads/oxide-for-7-days-to-die.813/" "Allows for the use of plugins" )

so copy that and fill in sensible values, suggestion:

mod_info_sdtdwar3zuk=( MOD "sdtdwar3zuk" "War3Zuk for 7 Days To Die" "!!you need a link to the mod here!!" "!!this should be the name of the zip file you download: bla_warzug_bla.zip" "0" "LowercaseOff" "${systemdir}" "OVERWRITE" "ENGINES" "7 Days To Die;" "NOTGAMES" "https://forums.7daystodie.com/forum/-7-days-to-die-pc/game-modification/mods/134521-war3zuk-tallon-alpha-18-1-stable-modlets-github/" "war3zuk overhaul mod" )

The only thing probably left to do is to find the link to a zip file of the mod (one of the links on the first page should lead to something) and replace the first !!...!! with it. And the actual zip filename in the second !!...!!

I would go with the github link, because it probably needs to be a fixed link to the newest source: It seems to be https://codeload.github.com/War3zuk/...AIO/zip/master and the filename War3zuk-Alpha-18-Stable-AIO

hmm. OK, but then there is the question what I have to put in the upper head to make Linuxgsm find the mod, because as I said, at the moment it only finds ide OXIDE, so I mean this line:

# Oxide
oxiderustlatestlink="https://umod.org/games/rust/download/develop" # fix for linux build 06.09.2019
oxidehurtworldlatestlink=$(curl -sL https://api.github.com/repos/OxideMod/Oxide.Hurtworld/releases/latest | grep browser_download_url | cut -d '"' -f 4 | grep "Oxide.Hurtworld.zip")
oxidesdtdlatestlink=$(curl -sL https://api.github.com/repos/OxideMod/Oxide.SevenDaysToDie/releases/latest | grep browser_download_url | cut -d '"' -f 4)

And then I must further down, what you have already described, also change again. But you have to write the master.zip, I had downloaded it before, but it contains the ModLauncher, or I am too stupid to recognize it.

Wait a minute, I'll give you the screenshot so you can see what I mean and have done:

That stuff you quoted is optional, it is just the definition of constants that can be used to make the later definitions readable.

What I missed is the last line though. Just add

 "${mod_info_sdtdwar3zuk[@]}"

into that line

The mod should be visible then. I can't guarantee that it will work, but at least you should get a sensible error message if it fails :cocksure:

Ok, spelled out it would be

mod_info_sdtdwar3zuk=( MOD "sdtdwar3zuk" "War3Zuk for 7 Days To Die" "https://codeload.github.com/War3zuk/War3zuk-Alpha-18-Stable-AIO/zip/master" "War3zuk-Alpha-18-Stable-AIO.zip" "0" "LowercaseOff" "${systemdir}" "OVERWRITE" "ENGINES" "7 Days To Die;" "NOTGAMES" "https://forums.7daystodie.com/forum/-7-days-to-die-pc/game-modification/mods/134521-war3zuk-tallon-alpha-18-1-stable-modlets-github/" "war3zuk overhaul mod" )

and add

"${mod_info_sdtdwar3zuk[@]}"

into the last line of similar strings. For example directly after
