  1. Well you're not wrong but also not completely right. For example the Wasteland got some nice background noises. But the rest seems a bit off thats true. I wish for a way creepier Screamer sound. But I'm sure they will do some sound changes before going gold.
  2. Yeah I'm worried about that too. The best part about them is, that you can pick them up when placed wrong...So what If I do a mistake? Will I have to destroy every misplaced block?
  3. The Key thing would be the best way to prevent it. You could just let it drop from the last zombie in the POI so you're forced to clear it^^

  5. About all the Zombie reworks while some get physics I was wondering if the crawler could get physics for his intestines and marlene for her eye hanging out cause it's so stiff and looks kinda weird.
  6. In the creativemenu there are two blocks that release smoke. One in white and one in black. A friend and I built a room with forges and connected them with large pipes that goes through the roof. There we stacked two stone blocks and on top of that this smoke block. and damn does it look like a perfect chimney and I love this detail. This made our base 100x better. Sadly it doesn't have a hitbox and is still a bit buggy sometimes. The wall of our base randomly starts to smoke when the animation begins but that stops after a few seconds so no problem^^ I hope this blocks is craftable in a20 or somehow can be bought from traders. That would be awesome^^
  7. Got a question about the new block shape menu in a20. Right now you can copy shapes and rotation of the same block type. But that isn't possible when it's a different block type. Would that be changed in a20 too?
  8. When I go for stone I just go for the nearest hill and just end his life from the tip to the bottom. This way I also get enough clay and other stuff^^
  9. I gave up on doing mines with roofs. In the past I just placed blocks every 4 meter in every direction from the hole but damn that kills way too much time so I just screwed that idea and just went full hulk in my mines. just going down until I am 3 blocks deep into ore blocks. After that just simply go into every direction until you got only stone left. After a while you just got out all the ores without touching a single stone block you get tem from everything anyway so why mining them in the first place
  10. Just play some other games until the next alpha comes out. many players does that. Coming every alpha, looking whats new and play until they reached endgame where you're like completely save^^ You know what people say, If you force a fart it becomes sh*t. So don't force TFP to do things faster. Don't take it like I want to say 7D2D is a fart xD it's a great game and I bet the next game they are working on will be a lot of fun too.

  13. Try out Nitrogen World Generator and get you a world without Trader and wasteland only. THAT IS AWESOME!!
  14. Got a new Problem with bears. Yesterday a bear attacked a wood spike at our wall and we were standing on top of the wall while shooting him with a bow. After 2 hits on the spikes he teleported inside our base. So bears are a hell of a bug. Please fix them!! Also When they attack a closed door they look through the door so the hitbox for blocks of the bear is problably his mid core..that looks pretty dumb cause half his body is on the other side of the door....This often leads to the bear glitching again and somehow goes through the door while it's closed. Thats not survival thats just bad design. Same Problem with spider Zombies they also go through the door with half theyr bodies and starts attacking your legs.
  15. yeah I wish for that too. Sure I use them from time to time but try not to cause it's lazy and cheap. this time it was just as a last hope blockade. we have mutliple small buildings 1 for sleepbags and 1 for forge and stuff. Both are surrounded from a small wall and we mostly let some zombies through the front door to kill them 1 after another. But Still it seems like a bug that a bear can go through it

So yesterday I played with a good friend and we got caught by a bear. we ran to our house where we placed a hatch on the ground so we can open it up to close the entrance to just 1 block height so we can attack and block zombies. but the bear was glitching around while attacking and somehow got into the house. So that wasn't really funny. also when you knock down a zombie they stand up on 1 block height and also glitch through the hole over the hatch. hope that get's fixed in the future
  17. The last weekend I started a new world with a friend and used the Nitrogen World Generator and created a only Wasteland Map with a small Snow and Desert Biome. And damn was it horrifying to play. I LOVE IT!!! The wasteland feels like real survival and finally the world isn't epty there. You always need to expect the worst. Walk into a mine or a dog follows you or the damn bears We had so much fun and Now I got a question for the RWG. Will it be a bit more complex like the nitrogen generator? Like create bigger cities and towns. Cause Vanilla RWG always feels too empty. Also I wish there would be an only Wasteland option cause the forests are too boring for players with 1000+ hours
  18. One question. Are you playing for fun? If yes than the harder (funnier) biomes are already worth it no matter the loot... If it's not worth it for you than you're not playing for fun 😕

  20. I just got the same idea right before reading your post. But I think there might be a problem with that. What If the Virus is airborne. That would mean every Person that isn't infected is immune to it.
  21. it doesn't need to be a FarCry clone but yeah some animation improvements would be nice. They are not really nessesary but awesome if implemented.
  22. No kids being in the game can be explained quiet easily. The Zombie Virus doesn't effect kids. It's only harmful do adults. That would explain why there are no zombies of them. Now about the missing kids NPC's/Bandits. Simply saying the Bandits don't want to deal with them so they don't have any and maybe TFP can add some kid NPC at the Trader so it feels "realistic" they don't need to be interactive.
  23. I think that really good. I like your idea of the drone as a kind of support. And you said no weapon mods in the first version at least. Maybe just maybe you have some plans adding it for late game. Like the legendary weapons that are planned. it could be a hard boos drop item I am so curious which way you'll go while heading towards gold So will the iron blocks disappear? Just wanna ask they are too expensive anyway^^ When you simplify the block upgrade path, will you change the amount of materials that are needed to upgrade a block. Cause thats what I would like. It seems a bit broken to me that we now only need half the amount of materials to build and upgrade cause the between blocks are gone. hope it gets buffed
  24. Well I bet most of them try the highest settings cause Graphic>>>>>>>>>>gameplay Just play on lower settings and it works great. I don't have a good PC (not even an SSD) but I can play this game without a problem just with lower settings. and it doesn't look bad without ultra mega super duper 4k. Why are people such graphic sl*ts
  25. I agree on that! But getting rid of the forge is hard to imagine at first. I bet you will do a great job on it. About the forge I would've changed it to a combination of forge and workstation like it's just the size of the chem station. You can smelt 1 thing at a time and you need a Crucible so the smelted material can stay there for a short time. you can have up to 4 Crucibles so that you can have smelted Iron, brass, sand and lead. only those four cause why would you need to smelt stone or clay. So If you want to craft something you need the smelted material. If you want to craft something that needs multiple ingredience you also need multiple crucibles. that means the crucible needs to be changed to not be a rare drop anymore. this sounds a bit complex I know but that would be how I would do it. I know it's never going to look like that in 7dtd but still wanted to share my ideas
