  1. Because I have tried it without putting one point into lucky looter at the beginning.
  2. The nests you loot don't respawn but I find new nests all over the place. I have like 35 eggs because I need lots of feathers. One point in lucky looter seems to get me more eggs. I always put one of the first four points I get into lucky looter.
  3. How many forges do you have running at one time?
  4. I put one point in engineering and one point in lockpicking. got the cement mixer and the chemistry station sometime after day 10 that way.
  5. Beer bottles you see all over the place. Whenever you see one smash it. Any bars and restaurants usually have lots of them. I had the same problem. Fixed it by smashing bottles and then whenever I went out I smashed every bottle I found and now I have a 70ish stack of broken glass.
  6. I try to get by with just two dew collectors.
  7. A motorcycle takes 30 duct tape Used to worry about the steel but I've done so many missions where the best reward was forged steel. I have plenty of steel. I rarely have more than one or two duct tape or glue.
  8. I just got a ql 5 desert vulture reward from a trader mission. It was in a box that said desert vulture parts I think. Most of the time I haven't been to impressed with the stuff but now that I look at it, I got every weapon I wanted from a trader. I got a compound crossbow, baseball bat, and the desert vulture. I bought the parts I needed to make my pistols and could have made bows except I got the compound crossbow very early so I haven't made any. I'm not so sure the traders have a problem anymore. It's a perception problem for sure. This is also the sort of thing that the very next game I play might leave me very disappointed with the traders.

  10. You can make paint with a chemistry station. Unless it's been removed. I have found dye in clothing. Not sure if it's any less prevalent because I haven't looted as much clothing as I have in A20.
  11. Stealth is nerfed in quite a few places because you trip an invisible trigger and the whole room wakes up. It does you no good on hord night It's a pain in the rear when you have sleepers in the ceiling that don't spawn when you walk underneath them so you have to get out of stealth and spawn them. I think the efforts to nerf stealth is part of the bug in these missions where the z doesn't spawn unless you trigger something. Instead of using your bow, walk up and club them over the head. That is a lot of fun.
  12. You have to find the action that triggers it. This happened to me and I got it to spawn when I open a garage door. I did clear the place out in stealth, then I walked through the garage out of stealth. Still wouldn't spawn. I had this happen this morning in another quest. Once again I had to open a garage door. Triggered a whole room of zombies. Lol. but I had walked through that room out of stealth and they wouldn't spawn. I exited the room and then opened the garage door. Yes, there was more than one way in. In the bowling alley I had to jump through a hole in a wall to get the z to spawn. That one may be because I got out of stealth to jump through the hole. I could have gone around it. Stealth will cause you to leave zombies behind so before you leave a floor, it's a good idea to exit stealth and walk around to see if something falls out of the ceiling.
  13. By the time I'm halfway doing the tier four quests I generally have a stack of dukes. Now think I'm half there. I can't make money the way I used to by putting the mods I pick up that I don't want into the stuff that I look that I don't want and selling it to the trader. It's all junk that's better off scrapping but now I have a box full of mods I don't want. The stuff that I sell are mostly books and magazines that don't bring in much money. I'm accumulating dukes now because there's nothing worth buying. By now in A20 I would find motorcycle parts for sale or a whole motorcycle, a chemistry station, night vision goggles, and pistols and bows I would buy to scrap for parts. This is a good thing on the whole because people shouldn't have so many dukes that they're melting them down for brass.
  14. I've always had my workbench very early. I don't remember the exact date but certainly by day five. This time I got it a little sooner, day 3 I think, because I put one point in engineering and another point in lock picking. On day one when you get your first four points did you put one of them in engineering?
  15. Are you sure you're not getting this confused with the water filter because every trader has a water filter. I haven't seen a water purifier mod for your helmet at all. If you are seeing water filter mods this common, the next game you start might be entirely different.
  16. Coffee. especially if you get the coffee perk from the magazine that lets you get more ore when you're buzzed on coffee I use just the stone ax and the stone shovel. As soon as I get the ergonomic grip mod I put them on
  17. There is a bug with the tier 3 quests. Certain zombies won't spawn until you find the right trigger. Walk around and open doors and push buttons. Crawl through holes in walls and break through doors that you may have avoided. There's a chance that nothing you can do will get that z to spawn. If you found the main loot room, I wouldn't go in the other building until I've done everything I could to get that z to spawn in the building you're in.
  18. It's been fairly bug free. There are some issues. Traders need to be worked on. I completed a tier four quest and my best choice was a tier 1 pistol. That point I put in daring adventurer really paid off for sure... This business with the z that won't spawn unless you find the right trigger in a mission needs to be fixed. I would have quit and started a new game by now but I'm staying with it because of the new skill system. Just made my chemistry station and gasoline is not a problem anymore. If keep on playing I will be able to make stuff that I want whereas before it was by chance and I didn't see the sense of staying on.

  21. Yes this is normal. It is very easy to go all the way to the end and still have some zombies left over. It's only a problem when you are in a bigger POI and you have no idea where they are. This is why I don't do level 5 missions.
  22. In the bowling alley I had to jump through a hole in the wall at the beginning that I could have gone around to spawn a Z. It's the room too the left you see beside the pool tables.
