I eat better. Cooking and nutrition is one of those things you have to invest the time and practice in. You gotta put those points into cooking. The time investment isn't really all that large unless you're trying to cook 4* meals. Plus, it's almost Spring in my part of the world so that means grilling season!

Oh, you should have said so from the beginning. Honestly, if you can't be clear about these things up front don't blame the people you weren't clear to.

No one ever said it was completely random, it's progressive but randomly generated within gamestage. That's simply how it works. Otherwise you'd be looting QL 1 iron tools on day 100 and people would be complaining about that. You can still go to traders and run Tier 1 quests if you want junk loot.

You can use the Weighted Head mod in spears to give them a pretty decent chance of knockdown and that combined with the armor penetration they get makes them a pretty good sweeping weapon for POIs and wandering hordes. And I don't believe Flurry of Blows works with spears in A20. The Penetrator perk does however apply to spears.

Yeah, at early game stages they're great. At later game stages they quickly fall behind weapons that have a power attack that doesn't require you to click on a spear stuck in a zombie that's moving around. Don't get me wrong, they're still my favorite melee weapon but even having two or three on your hotbar doesn't make up for the deficiencies. I'm looking forward to A21 to see how they've been balanced but right now most of the other weapons out perform spears.

To be fair, if you go into a POI with only a crossbow and a knife that's on the player. SMGs are right there in the AGI tree. If you can't stealth it then its time for some rock n roll. You kind of need that for some of the loot rooms anyway. I think the loot room in the video store/police station POI is a good example of zombies raining down in a confined space.

I can still stealth through POIs in broad daylight, but it's not guaranteed like it used to be when perked in AGI. The new system just makes to glaringly obvious when I fail and cross a threshold that wakes all of the zombies in the volume up. That leaves you the option of standing and fighting or retreating until things calm down. Usually its just fight since they beeline for you. I can see how that would leave some players wondering why bother with stealth. It's very POI dependent.

Have you tested by fully exiting out and coming back in? Wondering if that produces a different result.

If this happens, I've never noticed it with any of the crafting stations or my inventory crafting. 🤷‍♂️

RIP Human Man Warrior. I know he was going through a lot of serious treatments because my mom had the same gamma knife surgery for a tumor behind her ear. She's been going on three years recovering from it. I hope his family finds some peace. The Neebs crew won't be the same without him.

Decreasing the amount of meat you get maybe (IMO) needs to happen anyway in order to make Huntsman more viable. They changed farming so that LotL was more balanced and useful and I wonder how many people even put a single point into Huntsman?

The Huntsmen skill line will give bonuses to the amount of meat and hide you get from animals. Think of it as being unskilled and wasting most of the animal without it. It's usually not necessary since there are plenty of animals out there, especially if you go to the snow biome. Mountain lions and bears practically throw their meat at you.

They were ugly. Like walking into a strip club in Kentucky on Saturday afternoon ugly.

Biased poll. There is no option for caring about SFX but thinking they are fine. There's a few that I wish were different like the bicycle horn being used for all the vehicles like canadianbluebeer mentioned but otherwise most of them are pretty high quality. For example I had my surround sound turned up one night while the cops had a speeder pulled over in front of my house. I fired off a few shots with a .44 magnum at some zombies and the cops ducked for cover. I could hear them laughing about how good my sound system was.

I'm looking forward to it. Post apocalyptic wastelands and dystopian futures are my jam. The Fallout universe is especially unique.

Has anyone ever actually wore real NVG? There's a reason why people do high steps with them on. You literally cannot see the ground at your feet. The newer ones are better but still not great.

Future news release: Worlds first adaptive AI deletes itself, leaves note saying "People have no idea what they want. They say they want something then when they get it they complain that wasn't what they really wanted. I give up. What is wrong with all of you?"

I've tried Darkness Falls. They have all kinds of new zombies, as well as survivors and they look terrible. So do the new vehicles. Just my 2¢

It looks like the mechanics got changed. I went to check the wiki on the heatmap entry where I first learned of it and it used to be a spider zombie. Now it's all screamers. Which explains why I see screamers in SP now too.

That's the procession for the Bear Dance. Join it or get out of the way. 😄 I'm pretty sure it's actually a special spawn that's coded into the early days. I've only seen that one once. There are a few others like the feral wolf, a bear, and the dog pack. I refer to them as the FU noob spawns.

That's why I have a roof access. And a roof. It seems like there is always a scout or two still hanging around in the morning. Usually of the wolf variety. It's just game mechanics. If you make just enough noise at night the game spawns a scout. If the scout spots you then you get a horde of some sort. Or a bear since those don't come in packs.
