  1. @StrangerIV Sorry that you are having trouble getting the mod to launch, can't help much about that. @Rainspider Lawn mower engine is the most efficient engine and most quiet one compared to the rest, but it's the slowest.
  2. @Rainspider Glad you are enjoying your time with this mod. Currently the mod doesn't feature any kind of custom models, but that's something planned for the future of the mod. Initially the mod was developed to support easy anti cheat, but that meant, that I couldn't add any custom models, sounds, change core game functions or even increase backpack size, but because of high demand, the bigger backpack version was made, though I still haven't gotten to the point of adding in custom models. I have some basic 3d modelling skills myself, but nowhere near the level I want them to be in order to have as good as vanilla or even better models for all sorts of weapons (ranged or melee), custom workbenches, blocks and even custom zombie models, therefore most of the funds gathered from patreons and donations are being saved up so that I will be able to buy good quality props for the mod later on down the road if necessary, since as I already mentioned, most freely available stuff is very poor quality in comparison to what I want. Loot list balancing is an ongoing process and not an easy task to achieve. Improvements and tweaks regarding regarding that aspect will be made in the long run based on the feedback of the community.

Make sure you are making a new world, not trying to load an existing one.
  4. That's a bug, good find. Gas barrel gain of gasoline was reduced to 300, but I forgot to change the recipe. Will be fixed with next update.
  5. Thank you so much for your support, much appreciated! Wish more people would support this mod. So far 13238 unique downloads and only just a handful of people have supported me by donations/patreon. I understand, that not everyone can do that, though you also have to understand my situation, that it's not entirely free to make a good quality overhaul mod and sustain a community. Server upkeep, hosting, domain and other services require money to be sustainable in the long run, not even going into how much free time I have spent on making the mod as well as plans in the future to purchase proper good quality props for the mod for weapons, workstations, blocks, zombies etc - all that will require money, because most of freely available stuff is crap.

If you are playing the mod through mod launcher please make sure to press "Delete Downloads" before launching the mod: Patch notes: Change/Balancing: Removed Wooden Dowels and made them Legacy Item. Recipes no longer require dowels. Removed because of recent addition of Resin, that acts as a binder (early game glue), therefore dowels felt unnecessary. Change: Secure File Cabinet storage increased to 60 slots (6x10), before it was 7x7, 49 slots. Balancing: More adjustments to Book loot. Balancing: Adjustments to Munitions Box loot chance of Military Gear Balancing: Small adjustments on gun loot. Bugfix: Fixed a typo of Iron Arrowhead Description.

  8. I'm not familiar with it, therefore I can't comment on that. What I can say is that the mod has level cap set to 500, but it's much harder to get to level 200 anyway compared to vanilla.
  9. You can get titanium only from traders and with small chance in treasure chests and in other loot (very rare mind you), because titanium tools are quite powerful and it's an end game thing. Reason why you can't find it as ore is because using traders is a good means of controlled limiting of the supply for it.

  12. Yes, your server host hasn't installed the mod properly. They didn't install 7DaysToDieServer_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll file properly.

I wish I could help, but sadly the game isn't that well optimized and sphereii already told me, that there might be a memory leak regarding the UI elements and my mod is the only one with full overhaul for the UI with so many custom textures to it so that it might trigger memory overload at some point if you have low amounts of ram. I personally have never experienced a crash because of memory, since I have 32 GB of RAM on my main workstation, then again I also understand, that not everyone can afford such amounts of ram, though 16GB would be minimum RAM, that I would suggest to play this or any other big mod if you are playing single player. If you are playing on a server, that's not hosted on your computer, then 8GB should be enough.

  15. Good catch on the window thing, I agree, the recipe should be updated. Found ammo will always have slightly better stats than hand crafted, that's the reason why they are in the mod in the first place. They were manufactured in a factory by an assembly robot, therefore the quality of the projectiles is better than hand crafted ones. As to why the junction box uses a box instead of the junction box locker thingy block is because I can't reposition the connection point of the electrical wire and since it's always in the center of the block, it would stick out and look ugly on the existing junction box model in the game.

  18. After long and excruciating 2+ weeks, the new update 1.3.0.0. is finally here. Remember, if you like the mod, please consider donating or becoming a patron, every little bit counts. Just in case make a backup of your save files if you wish to continue from an older version of Undead Legacy. It should be compatible, but better safe than sorrow. And if you encounter a bug, please report it through the discord channel or here in the forum. Patch notes: New Feature: All POI Doors are acceptable to lockpicking. Existing player crafted doors are now considered POI doors and all lockpicking rules apply to them. Newly crafted player doors can't be lockpicked. POI or player door locks can be destroyed without destroying the actual door, making the door unlockable for the rest of the game. The doors with broken locks (aka lockpicked) can be upgraded to higher tier doors, but the upgraded doors won't be lockable. If you want to make the door lockable again, you have to craft a new door and replace the old one.   19. They no longer have any use in the game other than scrap or trade and will be phased out over time from the mod. Can you name what was the name of the item? Maybe I have forgotten to remove it from trade lists.
  20. Upcoming 1.3.0.0 update should be compatible with old saves unless I have messed something up. Generally I try to make updates to be compatible with older Undead Legacy saves so that the only time you would truly require starting from scratch would be once A17 comes out.
  21. I'm almost done with loot list changes for all zombies, time to do some internal testing. Hopefully the new update will be out in a few hours
  22. It might come out any day now, currently I'm tweaking loot lists and some other small things, but most of it is pretty much done. Once I'm happy with how the zombie loot spawns, I will be releasing it. However if any of you are very, very impatient and can't wait to get your hands dirty, you can enable experimental branch for the mod in the Mod launcher by doing the following: In the mod launcher click File -> Open Url... then paste this in the input box: http://ul.subquake.com/download/modlauncher/experimental/config.xml After that the experimental branch should be available. Fair warning though, make sure to back up your saves if you wish to continue an old save of Undead Legacy, because in the experimental branch I push updates frequently as soon as I make changes and make sure there are no console errors. Discussing experimental branch should be done in Discord.

  25. The way xp is handled while crafting hasn't been changed. Here's a newer screenshot of new things, that will be added aside of all the other stuff done in the background for loot mechanics etc:
