  1. I don't believe this is a bug. Changing the timer will only affect newly generated areas, or previous areas once the current timers have completed. Also should be noted that changing the time has a very strong chance of breaking everything in the game that relies on a timer.
  2. Curious about the actual steps you followed to configure this, and any logs you have on it. No need to install SteamCMD with LGSM, you just run the installer script. There is a lot of information missing from this report. I've been running servers on, and supporting, LGSM for a couple of years now without any issue.

  4. Absolutely correct. I've shown a number of times how small things like CPU clock speed or RAM timing can have a very notable impact on performance. I've also managed to pull a stable 60 FPS on a PC that only just meets the vaguest standards of the listed Min Spec on Steam.

For an hour you did not find the News & Announcements section where there are threads with names like 7 Days to Die Console Edition Happenings, Console News, and Telltale Update. You did not manage to find any of the current threads on the first page of the Console General Discussion section that you started this thread in? If you get off of the vehicle at this point, you fall through the earth until you are teleported to the surface. At which point your view is stuck looking upwards. When I tested this, I also lost the ability to enter God mode. Re-logging fixes the character view, and the vehicle spawns to the surface. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Not really sure on how to reproduce. I've seen a number of reports on this on the forums, but was unable to locate any existing report. Server has been running fine since Stable released, and only just started doing this today. Restarting the server seems to have at least temporarily resolved the issue. When I logged in to check it, I saw the wandering horde spawn in frozen at , and had the issue with the vehicle at around 8:29
  8. Maybe you should ask in the thread for the mod. Starting a thread in the Console game discussion is not the correct path to take. Hell, the answer to your question has possibly already been asked an answered in the thread for the mod already.
  9. I have advocated for having the requirements clarified considerably more than they are. As currently stated an old q6600 Core 2 Quad almost meets "recommended" specs. Anything later than an i7-7700k or a 3rd-Gen Ryzen should be fine for the recommended specs, but anything before that is minimum. (I had a good run with my i7-3930k, but it was overclocked to the point where it ran as well as an i7-8700k) Though I am curious about your issue there. I'm running an R9 3900x, 32GB 3200Mhz RAM, and a GTX 1070 going to a 1440p 144Hz monitor. I may get dips into the 60's sometimes, but the only time I see the 40's is on a really busy horde night with over 30 zeds on screen. Here is what I am running for graphics options, and I basically doubled the settings for Dynamic Mesh.
  10. Sounds like you didn't wipe all the things. Take a look at the Blue banner. Follow the instructions, and try again.
  11. A20 needs Microsoft Visual C Redistributables 2022 to run.
  12. Every good manager has the shutdown command set to be bloodmoon aware. Cleaning up spawned vehicles is only an issue on servers that greatly exceed what the client is designed for.
  13. It's mostly accurate. I've been making the minor edits where it is required, but I'm not happy with the current layout. Have plans for a larger re-write, but don't have a lot of free time to work on it. It gives the absolute basics, but not a lot else. If you have a spare PC you can load up Linux on, I have a guide for that here. It's easy to set up if you can read and understand English, and will be easier to automate with better performance results than a server on Windows. Which is pretty normal for a dedicated game server that you intend to have open to the public. And yes, that Chinese stuff is harmful. You only need it if you plan to greatly exceed what the game is actually designed for. We host 20-slot servers without an issue using only the basic management mods. Absolutely correct. We do daily restarts for our servers that are Vanilla or only have a few mods. When we have a server with major overhauls then it's needed to be done more often. We restart those every 12 hours.
  14. There is a blue banner literally right at the top of every page of the forum with instructions. You only have to click it, and read the instructions.
  15. Because for an update like a20, things change. Settings can get added or removed. This is considered a critical file, so it gets updated with the client. Server admins who know what they are doing never use default files for the start batch or config. It's expected for the file to be over-written with an update when a game is in Alpha development. Personally, I haven't noticed a massive drop. Sure it'll get into the 50's or 60's sometimes, but it's still perfectly playable. Maybe your settings need to be adjusted? Lack of optimization is expected in Alpha development. Spending more time on it than it takes to make it playable is a waste of developer time. Beta is when you start working on serious optimization. After all the core features and major engine changes are finalized.
  16. Nope. Lethal headshots works both ways. You can headshot insta-kill zeds, and they can headshot insta-kill you.
