  1. Your Steam ID is not PI. Your IP address is not PI. Your unique Epic ID is not PI. Curious if you knew this already... Epic owns EAC. Has for years. Actually it will run just fine. You can totally disable EOS. Just be aware that your existing a20 saves before you disabled it saved your player data under your EOS ID. So if you disable it after the fact, you'll need to go edit that data to be your Steam ID.
  2. To be fair, some of the tools that the larger servers use to get their increased player counts more stable are not exactly from trustworthy sources. One of which I am almost certain is the source of this attack.
  3. DX11 errors indicate that the GPU driver doesn't support DX11. Ensure that you are installing from Nvidia, and you should do a clean install.
  4. Steam issue, not a client issue. Clear your Steam download cache, and ensure that you have ample drive space free.
  5. Make the map on the client, then copy it to the server. Then simply replace "RWG" with the name of the folder for the map.
  6. Not sure why you don't have logs. Going to need logs at a minimum, and some other detailed information would be useful. RTFM

  8. Electricity was added in Alpha 16. The console is based on version Alpha 14.7, and has some bits of Alpha 15 added in. These items do not exist in the console version.
  9. I don't believe this is a bug. Changing the timer will only affect newly generated areas, or previous areas once the current timers have completed. Also should be noted that changing the time has a very strong chance of breaking everything in the game that relies on a timer.

  11. Curious about the actual steps you followed to configure this, and any logs you have on it. No need to install SteamCMD with LGSM, you just run the installer script. There is a lot of information missing from this report. I've been running servers on, and supporting, LGSM for a couple of years now without any issue.

  13. Absolutely correct. I've shown a number of times how small things like CPU clock speed or RAM timing can have a very notable impact on performance. I've also managed to pull a stable 60 FPS on a PC that only just meets the vaguest standards of the listed Min Spec on Steam.
  14. So seriously, you spent an hour looking and still managed to not see the two massive red banners at the top of every page of the console section? For an hour you did not find the News & Announcements section where there are threads with names like 7 Days to Die Console Edition Happenings, Console News, and Telltale Update. You did not manage to find any of the current threads on the first page of the Console General Discussion section that you started this thread in? Updates for 7 Days to Die on PS4 or XB1 (This one is Pinned even) Just writing a post so it is known there still interest in waiting for console updates. Yes I have read forums if this game is never going to get an update again, why is it $40 (cdn) on the marketplace? Update for console Join this petition We will wait for whatever it takes console re-release problems and false advertizing These were all on the first page. You didn't even have to use the search. You merely needed to scroll down just a little bit and read. Honestly, it doesn't matter that you just joined yesterday. It doesn't matter at all that you are new to the site. What matters is that you could not be bothered to do the most basic looking before making a post. If you had actually "spent an hour looking", how on earth did you miss any one of these items? I mean it's not like we don't have it literally plastered everywhere for you to find. It's not like there aren't a number of topics on the subject. So seriously, what kind of a response would you expect?
  15. It won't be. And there is information literally Pinned, and in the News section about console updates. Not to mention active threads that have even been posted in recently so they would have been right here at the top for you to read before posting.
  16. Summary: Zombies stop moving or attacking. Riding a vehicle into a previously unloaded chunk causes it to slowly sink into the ground. Game Version: A20 b238 Platform: PC OS/Version: Ubuntu Linux 20.04 CPU Model: Intel Xeon X5675 System Memory: 96 GB GPU Model and VRAM: N/A Screen Resolution: N/A Video Settings: N/A Game mode: Client on dedi, RWG Did you wipe old saves? Yes Did you start a new game? Yes Did you validate your files? Yes Are you using any mods? Yes EAC on or off? On Status: NEW Bug Description: Zombies stop moving or attacking. Upon death they despawn almost instantly. Riding a vehicle into a previously unloaded chunk causes it to slowly sink into the ground. If you get off of the vehicle at this point, you fall through the earth until you are teleported to the surface. At which point your view is stuck looking upwards. When I tested this, I also lost the ability to enter God mode. Re-logging fixes the character view, and the vehicle spawns to the surface. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Not really sure on how to reproduce. I've seen a number of reports on this on the forums, but was unable to locate any existing report. Server has been running fine since Stable released, and only just started doing this today. Restarting the server seems to have at least temporarily resolved the issue. Will update further if more data is found. Actual result: Chaos Expected result: Less chaos? Server log: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1z8tm2Blad6TgbKLBxF40Qnpk--fVchYfu-IZQZnit38/edit?usp=sharing Client log: https://pastebin.com/raw/H0FJvA5w In this log the issue started somewhere between three and four am. When I logged in to check it, I saw the wandering horde spawn in frozen at , and had the issue with the vehicle at around 8:29
  17. Maybe you should ask in the thread for the mod. Starting a thread in the Console game discussion is not the correct path to take. Hell, the answer to your question has possibly already been asked an answered in the thread for the mod already.
  18. I have advocated for having the requirements clarified considerably more than they are. As currently stated an old q6600 Core 2 Quad almost meets "recommended" specs. Anything later than an i7-7700k or a 3rd-Gen Ryzen should be fine for the recommended specs, but anything before that is minimum. (I had a good run with my i7-3930k, but it was overclocked to the point where it ran as well as an i7-8700k) Though I am curious about your issue there. I'm running an R9 3900x, 32GB 3200Mhz RAM, and a GTX 1070 going to a 1440p 144Hz monitor. I may get dips into the 60's sometimes, but the only time I see the 40's is on a really busy horde night with over 30 zeds on screen. Here is what I am running for graphics options, and I basically doubled the settings for Dynamic Mesh.
  19. Sounds like you didn't wipe all the things. Take a look at the Blue banner. Follow the instructions, and try again.
  20. A20 needs Microsoft Visual C Redistributables 2022 to run.
  21. Every good manager has the shutdown command set to be bloodmoon aware. Cleaning up spawned vehicles is only an issue on servers that greatly exceed what the client is designed for.
