  1. Look at the code for Allocs Fixes, and work with that API. You don't want to use telnet at all. If you join Guppy's Discord, you can talk with some of the other Server Manager API creators about their code and possibilities.
  2. What you you mean by "just logging out"? You don't "log in" to the game.
  3. HOW TO REPORT AN ISSUE ---- Please Read Before Creating New Threads ----
  4. It only spoils it if you choose to watch the streams. If you choose not to, then nothing is spoiled. It's really super easy. It's more strange that you would think they would want to work on weekends. It's not that they cannot, but that they want to have a break. You've been pushing really hard for the past 3-4 months to meet a deadline you set for yourself. You then miss the deadline because there are issues with your product. You're working extra hard to get the problems fixed so you can get the product out there. Wouldn't you want to take a break and sit back and look at it through another persons eyes for a couple of days? We aren't even talking about how the developers are already spending their free time showing off some of the content and talking about their processes during development. Time that they could be spending relaxing, or having valuable personal time with loved ones. They're doing it because they're excited to show you what they're working on, even though you can't play it yet. It's not like closed testing to a select audience of a few hundred people outside of the large internal testing groups is unheard of. Companies have been doing closed beta releases for years before TFP even existed. Don't act like this is new or unusual.
  5. I stand corrected. Was that to the right, or to the left? Maybe take a step back? Up high? down low?
  6. I see we've come around to this discussion again. Lets take a look at reality for a moment. Here is how the process goes. The developer reaches a point where they feel that enough bugs are fixed, and features are completed well enough for a public release. On Tuesday or Wednesday they will alert the streamers, and make an announcement about the upcoming Streamer Weekend. On Friday the will give the streamers the password to the internal testing trunk. They may also be giving out keys for them to give away. (They're already giving out keys quite often in the official Discord as well for the past few weeks, and are likely to continue that. Pay attention if you don't have the game yet, or have friends that still want it.) On the following Monday, (assuming no major game-breaking bugs were discovered by the streamers), the public experimental release will be unlocked. This is NOT a Stable build, and is only for people who want to test and report bugs. Two to three weeks later a20 will drop as a Stable branch for the general public. So if you want in on the earliest possible release, you get it literally just a couple of days after the streamers do. A Couple Of Days So taking a look at reality, how much does that really harm you? To not have access to an unstable build for three days. How is it that you find that offensive? It's not a stable build. You will experience bugs. You will probably have to restart several times before even Stable comes out. You will need to restart when stable does come out. You guys complaining about this are usually also the same guys complaining about having to wipe your saves whenever a new build is released, so that adds even more question to why you're so offended about something this silly. I mean seriously, what is the real argument here. Boo hoo you don't get access before a handful of other people to something that isn't even finished. It's almost like complaining that your mother licked the dough off the spoon before she gave you the baked cookies that just came out of the oven. How do you not see how silly this argument is?
  7. Yeah, did a full sweep of testing on b186 without any issues. I was still seeing it on b185. Jugg had indicated it might have been a result of a netcode issue that was being worked on.

  9. Most likely it will not work, and by the time you put the work in to fix the issues, a20 will be releasing anyway. @Crater CreatorI would really like to see this one updated for a20 though.
  10. The problem with playing a "pure" build is that you happen to miss out on most of the things required to have a good playthrough. "Pure" builds only really work in MMO's where the "build" is based merely on stat points to equip certain gear, and not on proficiency selection.
  11. Where are you seeing helicopters?
  12. Incorrect. I would put the min CPU for just the single-player client at a Q6600. If you compare stats, you can see that the N5000 falls well below that. If you compare something closer to recommended spec, it's considerably behind. And about the turbo speed? You do realize that you only get a short 10-15 second boost at turbo when it's called for. And it's usually only on a single core at the full speed. May be on half the cores at a lower speed. It could very well be that your CPU simply isn't capable of supporting the demands of the dedi client.
  13. How many zeds you get is determined by your gamestage. Your gamestage in that log was something like 3. As your character levels up and progresses it will increase. Day count does not matter. If your gamestage is low like that, you're hardly going to get anything.
  14. You need a higher gamestage to get zombies
  15. Vortex doesn't work with 7 Days. THe only thing Nexus is really good for is hosting the files. You will need to install the mods manually. The original location of the mod is here, and has installation instructions. Also, that mod hasn't been updated since Alpha 18. It is not likely to work on the current version of the game. It appears to be abandoned atm, and has not received any updates.
  16. This is less than half the minimum required hardware.
  17. DMZ'ing the PC isn't going to do much for you except expose critical ports to the internet that will put you at risk. DMZ in most modern modems/routers is not a true DMZ anyway, and only opens a select number of ports. You don't need to do anything with the 27015-27050 range. In fact, it's advised that you leave that alone completely. The things that need to use that port range are generally just sending data, or will open access via UPnP if necessary. For the game client you must forward port 26900 on the TCP protocol, and also the range 26900-26903 on the UDP protocol, to the host server. The local server host should have a static IP address in the local network.
  18. Curious about the preference on the flat panel. Though at 27" it really won't make a big difference, however when you get to some of the larger sizes, the curved screen is very desireable. I recently upgraded from 24" flat 1080p to a 35" curved 1440p. The difference is amazing. Whatever resolution, I would stick with 144Hz. I mean honestly you don't need more than 60 unless you do a lot of gaming, but even with a lot of gaming you don't need above 144Hz unless it's competitive gaming. Mine can do the adaptive 48Hz-144Hz, but is capable of overclocking to 165/170Hz. I've only seen it hit the upper ones in testing though. Really it comes down to what your budget is. I managed to snag this 35" for about $250, but they can usually start around $350-$450.
  19. That's pretty much how you do it. The most common error is double-nesting the mod folder. Make certain that the folder layout looks something similar to this...
  20. Try it without any mods and a Vanilla map. I cannot say I've ever seen this before.
  21. What is to be fixed? There is already a setting to adjust it if you have issues. I personally don't find it to be shaky at all.
  22. I just yanked it from my Generated Worlds folder after creating the map, and then zipped it for sharing.
