  1. Pretty cool how AMD allows you to modify just about anything, sort of nice and also disappointing that changing stuff doesn’t really do anything. I had a similar experience as you with over clocking my 3800X
  2. Kill the bicycle its use is too narrow. Add a cart you can store stuff in and pull around with you. Sort of like Valheim.
  3. I need to comment again about a few things First: the game engine can barely handle 20 zombies on screen at the same time. Space would be very empty and boring. Second: what the hell do you expect for a $10 to max $25 game? Stick with zombies, improve what can be improved with minimal hours, get the game done and release. Start working on something new and fun.
  4. Tip don't start 10 minutes late and not acknowledge being late. Wasting people's time is disrespectful.
  5. @faatalthe vehicles with extra seating look great, can we expect to see this in A20?
  6. Those dudes are asking for 3rd degree burns on their feet & ankles
  7. Someone make a liquor store run to make sure you have enough on hand to get Richard & Joel tipsy enough to spill the beans on their next game during tonights stream. thank you.
  8. I suspect once steam workshop is built in it will work like you describe or at minimal very similar
  9. Yeah same here, first week or so is the best time in game imo. My friends & I have been greatly reducing loot which does extend that I need to find this or that feeling you get early on but once you have everything you need there isn’t much to do other than crazy thing like build a ramp that goes so high you cannot see the ground, light yourself on fire and ride your motorcycle off the jump at the bottom of the ramp that jumps over a pit that holds a zombie bear. Things like that keep you busy for a bit
  10. You will get bonus points from me if while driving in first person view you can see the car get damaged/windshield crack or blood splatters on the window as you hit stuff or take damage to the car. Maybe the cars sound changes and it rattles when it is very damaged.
  11. My dream regarding driving would be a mounted machine gun as so many have requested and/or being able to drive with a first person view plus have passengers all being able to shoot out the windows as in see your hand holding the pistol or smg shooting at stuff.
  12. Yeah it does however as above game needs to be done or at least at a point where an update doesn’t break the existing mods. Great example is Emperion. Fun little space survival game, added steam workshop early and it was great. Click a button and that adds the mod or space ship design so you can craft it. The massive bummer was as the game developed a bunch of ship designs no longer worked and you had no idea before crafting them. Pretty frustrating. Much better to have all mods work and not worry about which version they work for plus hope the modder noted what version it is good for.
  13. I haven’t tried vulkan in a while but it seemed to work worse imo. No noticeable frame rate improvement and noticeably worse artifacts and stuff on the screen. I know this is a unity thing not blaming you guys. Similar with other games, vulkan just doesn’t help out much and seems to cause weird graphics glitches. Vulkan is a big disappointment to me, it was over hyped and under delivered.
  14. I agree however in our instant gratification world I don't think that would be a welcome feature. I really like how Valheim handles food. Different foods do slightly different things. All heal over time and increase stamina & health until time runs out. Basically there are a few things to keep in mind regarding food in Valheim. HP increase Stamina increase Heal over time HP & Stamina. some foods fill your HP bar good but don’t help Stamina other foods do the reverse. All wear off at different rates, can only eat three different foods until you are “full” I do wish food decayed in both games. Problem is without decay you end up with a ridiculous amount of food in a box by day 3 or 5 or whatever then you never worry about food again and it becomes a dumb stat to maintain. Edit: You cannot starve in Valheim, you just lose health (HP) and Stamina enough to make it painful so going a long time without eating is tedious.
  15. Play with loot spawn at 33% or less and starvation becomes a possibility.
  16. Early on I had more sympathy for people losing the early access lottery. Now I don’t. we all know many early access games fail or end up being something completely different than expected. We all know buying a early access game carries risk and we all should avoid risks if we do not like them. Regarding 7D2D while I agree it came to be in the beginning of early access, I have said they did it right, sold the game at a low cost. I have gotten plenty of value our of the $15 or $20 I spent on it and I feel it is a perfectly good game as is for what it cost in its current and probably since Alpha 12 form.
  17. I mostly agree, I think the dream of hundreds of mostly mindless hordes is not realistic with what we have now. Also regarding a new game on a better engine sure it would be great but less building or digging would kind of suck but I am sure there is a happy medium somewhere. I am more than confident everyone will figure out a way to block or remove stairs/ladders or whatever to get to the second floor no matter what the engine is unless you make the world really static like Survive the Night which isn’t a bad game but you have to understand nothing can be destroyed or modified beyond boarding up a door or window and stuff like that. Survive the Night does have a lot more zombies during the nightly “horde” but the inflexible world makes it less fun than 7D2D.
