I also see your point but again it is not being removed from game, just from the start items. It can still be very easily made. Unless they tell new players what it is for though they may never know. As it just as easy for players to drop it that is also what I mean. New players are thinking, "Well if they gave it to me from the start it must be important, I should keep it" And yes the note at beginning also is not overly helpful. I know I am not a new player and know about these things but I have been dropping the claim block and note as soon as I start a new game for a very, very long time.

Those are from 2 different games he started, A20 and A21. So from about same area but would be different. (lol, I should have read on a bit before answering that one ) Also @unholyjoe, after seeing you two pics I always wanted to ask why the land claim block is still included in start up items. It is super easy to make now (5 stone) and I don't recall it ever being included in any of the beginning basic quests. I noticed watching new players that they keep it in their inventory taking up a valuable slot. Shouldn't it be retired.

Isn't Big Mamas theme song "Milkshake" "My milkshake bring all the boys to the game" Here is one thing I mentioned long ago that I thought needed a change in game but would probably not be popular. Mixers. I could never figure out why it needed an engine in the recipe but never ever used gas as fuel. I think that would have a small impact on game procession that would be more realistic as it should slow down concrete production. At least until gas production was started.

On similar note, was the Twitch Integration PDF file ever updated with the new commands.

What about feral sense. Turned on? set to Night or even to All?

I like to click on Unread Content as soon as I join the forum. I just made couple of changes and I am not sure how to save it permanently. This is what it shows... I changed Time Period to Last Visit and Sorting to Oldest First. I can't click on Save these changes? Just on Don't Save and Save as a new stream. Am not sure what Save as new stream does and don't want to screw up my settings. So do I have to use the Save as new stream or not?

Did you try increasing the difficulty and turning on feral sense?

Literally just saw this post a couple of minutes ago.

I am constantly searching for a water source near where I intend to build. I usually keep checking the map for those wonderful little splotches of blue and it doesn't usually disappoint me. Especially if I have been running around for a while near a town.

So is there some other reason the pings are different for A19 and A20?

Speaking of ping. Has anyone else noticed how much it has increased. Someone mentioned it was because now we have to go through EOS. Is that true. I did a test and loaded in A19 and checked some pings and then loaded A20 and checked same servers and the pings sometimes more than doubled so am guessing it may be true. Before anyone asks. Yes. These were taken within a short period of each other. (Some time passed for me to combine some images to make them all one) Yes. I also noticed that the player counts were different by time I had taken the screenshots. Yes. I noticed that in A19 it didn't show the shield for EAC. I don't know why that was. It is easy enough to check my findings as anyone can easily do the same thing and run A19 and A20 and check the pings.

I have Q key bound for running now so even if they add a toggle to run I would still just use the Q key (my muscle memory is just to old to learn new tricks lol)

If I recall the game did make a folder and add the server xml files but I think it may remove them again when game is closed. Not %100 sure but I think I did see them before. There are some files that get kept in a saved folder. It is all a bit fuzzy now.

I remember in earlier alpha you had to be damn careful with water. One wrong move and you could flood your entire area. We had a close call or two.

I also like to remind new players to read the journals.

There must be some easier way as I have opened the list and had all my saved servers gone. The list completely empty. Had to find them and add them again. Have no idea how it has happened as I pretty much just closed the game one time and opened it another. Now, It may have something to do with me playing older versions. I sometimes play versions as far back as 6 or 7. Maybe that screwed up my list. Not that I have looked for servers with those older versions but maybe something weird happens when you play the older ones. i know a few times it has screwed with my settings so maybe it screws with the history list also.

I usually start with a 3x3 hole about 2 or 3 deep, fill in the outer blocks and then to save some time I continue on with the plus formation just digging the N,S,E and W and adding block to those.

Not saying there was any at this house but if I notice anything dog related (doghouse, carrier cage) I avoid it lol. As for jumping on cars as far as I remember I have done that and the damn thing followed me up there.

ooooh, nothing better than being outside and notice a pack of dogs running by a little ways away so you crouch in the "if they come this way I am already in the crap myself position" and they run on by so you get the hell out of there.
