I downloaded and checked Exotic Ammo and from what I see it has custom assets. Also no where does it say it is server side only. In fact the author specifically says it is needed on the server AND the client. EDIT: Just checked the DK's Weed and Extract mod and the author also says it is needed server and client side.

That is true and I can see where nigoshi is going with their idea. That actually just happened to me. Was thinking of joining a new server but it was just about a half a day before horde so I waited. I did see that later someone had gotten on so I decided to check back after they had played the horde. When I did check I saw they had logged off with the game at 21:56 on horde night. So it still does happen. I still don't get the idea fully though as even though if you went to log on it could still be horde night. I also know that then you would just have to wait but the days are still passing by. If it is a regular server then getting new players to join might be iffy. I mean I wouldn't usually join a server as a newbie if it is Day 288 (12 irl days of nonstop game running). First thing in my mind is all half decent base spots would be taken by then. I would want a server with lower days to have a chance to set up my base. Also this is a play your own way game so having the server constantly running with no one on is a way to play so my only thought now is does anyone know how to help this player do what they want.

I don't understand the reasoning for wanting time to continue with no one on. Wouldn't the players die of thirst or starvation if that happens? Is it possible that the base could be destroyed if 1 or more horde nights happen when no one is there to defend the base?

yes forgot I was using the minimap as he has it named with Z's at begining of folder. I guess so it loads last...I really like that one too especially since he just updated it. Yeah, I am not sure if I used that method of crafting but I do still use bloodslingers program to edit some tweaks in my xml items and recipes. So much easier for me than using notepad+ As you can see it was from a while ago (alpha 10 mentioned at top of screen) and it still has the crafting menu you mentioned although I don't have to use that part. It is only thing I have seen that still works from alpha 10 to this alpha.

I have that one installed in my test game. I just haven't made a drone yet to try it. Also the Drone Weapons mod, the autominer, the fast travel, and the picture in picture scope. I guess I have a few of alters mods

Hal9000 was working on something similar to that back in 2017. Wasn't exactly what you were stating but it was pretty cool. I am not sure what went on with it as I never tried it. Looked like it would have been interesting though.

I am not sure how it all works in the background. I just know in my own mind that even a level 6 stone axe should not work better than even a level one iron axe or pickaxe. Same as a level 6 iron pickaxe shouldn't work better than a level 1 steel axe. To me anyway.

I do recall seeing something like that but that was quite a while ago and they never used it gaming it was so two people could use the computer at same time for like work or maybe browsing internet.

I am not in the know like Jugginator but I also have never heard of 2 players playing this game using the same pc. You do say you have a game on PC with 2 players on same PC. Did you mean a different game or is it specifically 7 Days To Die? In 9 years of this game I don't think I have ever heard of this option being available on PC version.

That is very good to know. I do have some different versions I use but I also have a few of the same alpha. I may (should) go in and reset them so I can claw back some space. Thanks for that.

I always mention to streamers when they say they are dumb for something a viewer lets them know. No, you are not dumb. It is something you just didn't know at the time. Now you know. If not knowing something made someone dumb, then by that definition everyone on earth is dumb as I am 100% sure we don't all know everything. (Ok some think they know everything...now that is dumb )

Hold on. So I could have a separate vanilla game folder elsewhere like in my C:\7DTD folder and then just have shortcuts on desktop to different mod folder in UserDataFolder? Which would save me a ton of space by having 8 folders with 8 full copies of the game files?

As mentioned above yeah, you should be able to download any version back so far as Alpha 8 using steam. With the method warmer linked you can also get the earlier ones back to alpha 5. Although for some reason I couldn't get alpha 6 but I do have all others from 5 to 21. I will need to update my A21 later though when A22 hits.

If playing single player put them in to charisma. I think that should cancel them out nicely
