Yeah, they propably fear me and my T1 weapons too much. 😛 Propably a stupid question, but i wanna make sure: If we set up a dedicated server (g-portal) do the players who join just need the modlet installed if we use a KingGen or Nitrogen map or do they need to install CP47 for the kind of map used? Also first post says for MP all players need it installed. But if i host the game and my buddies join me, they can play without the modlet installed, no matter if nitrogen or kinggen. Didn´t play vanilla rwg so far tough.
  2. @Kyonshi No you are not askin for the grass fiber. But others maybe and for them it might be as importnant as the reloading is for you. And if everyones small little details get done, we end up with an rat tail of small little things that take ages to implement. I´d say if they consider fixing small little details that have no impact whatsoever on the gameplay, they should focus on those that everyone recognizes and not on those that only a few recognize. I think they shouldn´t bother at all if it has no impact on the gameplay or balance, no matter wich detail. It´s not a simulator. Edit: Just gto a double barrel in game. You don´t take the shells out. You just put new ones in. Reloading can´t be such a serious issue for you after all if you didn´t get that one right tbh...
  3. @Kyonshi The point is if we start nitpicking on things like this and get everything "right", we won´t see a release until 2025. Your blunderbuss comparison is apples and oranges. Most people look at the M60 reload animation and propably think "yeah it could work like that in RL" while everyone would know that loading a molotov into a blunderbuss is just BS.
  4. Weird, i started the quest and it said area cleared. No zombie there. I went trough the whole house and surroundings. Nitrogen map plus compopack, no other mods or xml tweaks. Maybe it´s due to nitrogen beeing not up to date.
  5. And i am here again. "Nicehouse" by BigC90210 has no zombies in it. If you start a clear quest it immediately shows you area cleared in the top right, but it doesn´t finish the quest. Return to trader doesn´t pop up. Propably a know issue also? Is there a list of known issues that are already fixed with the next version?
  6. The "CDC_Mission" by TheFootpad is a Tier1 quest. Should be at least Tier3 imo. It has ~30 zombies including a zombie bear. Loot is also too much even for a Tier3. Other than that it´s a great POI. Well done.
  7. It´s a game. Not a simulator. And outside of the US propably 99.5% will never know. Even in the US i doubt that there is a lot of people who actually care. Imo fixing that would just be wasted time.
  8. I am talking about this part of your post. According to this a relay in a room with a 2 block wall, floor and ceiling with the only access from beyond with a hatch (wich they can´t directly vomit on, it´s impossible and the relay is not next to the hatch) should be safe if the vomit penetrates only one block. But it isn´t. It´s not a problem at all, can be avoided easily but it does penetrate more than one block.

According to your description something behind a 2 block wall in a room with no bars or windows, just one fully upgraded vault hatch from below that is closed should be safe right? @unholyjoe (they would have to stand right below the hatch to be able to hit it directly, wich didn´t happen) It isn´t tough. Get´s destroyed. And it´s a relay that is 2 blocks away frrom every wall. Not a problem to solve this i just redesigned my base a bit, but it doesn´t seem llike splash damage from a window, does it?

  12. Well, it´s not as cheap as i thought it would be. If i would have to deceide between this and saving money for half a year and then buy a PC i would rather have nothing to game for half a year and get a PC. Basic version with slow storage and only 64GB costs 419€. Another 300€ on top of that get me a half decent gaming PC, GPU is a problem tough, gotta need to get a used one. Monitor not included ofc, but playing 7D on 7" wouldn´t be enjoyable anyways. Can´t get one before december anyways, GPU prices might be better then.
  13. Not a movie POI but we really need Bagger288 as a POI. That´s a huge excavator, afaik the biggest land moving vehicle.
  14. @Boidster 40 and 50 need to stay due to what @Roland said. The 70mins are purely for MP so that you can go afk and not loose any time of the day. SP is mostly 40 and 50 for me. I am 99,9% sure that of all games that ever got started, not more than 1% were on 10 or 20mins. Those would surely not be missed if removed.
  15. Well i really don´t understsand why we are limited to 90 and 120 for longer days without having to tinker with the xml. Come on TFP @Gazz @madmole that´s a quality of life upgrade. And no 4 more options to choose from will not confuse people. (I can personally live with 70 only, but i bet there is a lot that would like to see the others steps aswell.) Having to convince all people who play to tinker with their xml and setting up servers with a modlet is confusing for many.

  17. I am actually thinking scavenger. I remember my very first horde. I was overwhelmed with 100%XP on scavenger or whatever it was called back then.

  19. @Kam R. Tbh demolishers are the only thing right now that keeps me on my toes during bloodmoon. Everything else is basically a one hit at the point my gamestage is high enough to get demolishers, even on survivalist.
  20. I disagree with 300% XP beeing easier for beginners. The first hordenight will overwhelm beginners due to the high gamestage from the 300% XP. @Roland New players tend to do longer days. They might get demolishers on their first bloodmoon with 300%XP on day 14.
  21. I do have a bit of a problem with the maps i generate. First of all, the cities are always in the desert. Always. A city that is only on the forest or even just mostly in the forest biome doesn´t happen. And i never get a vanilla hospital on my maps. Using CP47. Tested 30 different maps now every time both of the above was true.
  22. Yeah, you learn the hard way that you need a fast way out of the hole and to wait until your stamina is full before you empty the chest (the white river supplies is what triggers them, everything else can be safely looted before)
  23. Yeah, it´s a bit odd with the quests. Getting the same few POI`s over and over again even if there is a lot of other quest POI´s in the area. This is especially remarkable when you play with compopack and you get like 4 different POI`s for tier5 Quests all the time when there is like 20 of them around. Deffo needs some work.
  24. Finally the option for 70,80,100 and 110 minutes. Not really sure but wouldn´t that just need a few lines of code copied, changing the value? Personally i only need 70mins tough, but why not all if we are at it already. Why?` MP where you can´t pause is why. 70mins would be perfect to take short breaks and not wasting time. Especially for parents this would be nice. Setting the time to 90mins is changing the game a lot and a bit extreme just because you need a short break regulary. Beeing able to mount the 4x4 as a passenger. More different block shapes. A lot more colours for painting. Getting back the option to choose how many zombies will spawn. Having whole towns with one zombie wandering around, is highly anticlimatic and reduces the game to quests and POI`s only.
