  1. Maybe it suffered from a cheesy Fallout villain style ending, where needed to prove something before the Cancer took it.
  2. I'm a huge fan of the Henry 45-70 rifle. It's an old world classic. I am not sure if I've even seen the revolver, but if I do, I'd consider it. Where?
  3. Wow. Yall bringing back memories.
  4. I've had the opportunity but I turned it down because I've broken my wrist before and I wasn't willing to risk the recoil for the pain afterward.
  5. I'm not sure I'm parsing what you're getting at, other than your disappointment that this game isn't going the route you had specifically designed in your own headspace.
  6. And the amount of knockdown would be on point.
  7. I believe that one is in already, but its made in a much smaller model and while the track is there, the tram is gone. The hive is REALLY tiny.. I see what you're shooting at here. 😛 I'd make this its own map overhaul, complete with it's own story.
  8. Yeah, I know this pain. I've fired a real .44 revolver before and the animation for this in game is just.. frighteningly unrealistic.
  9. The first night is also meant to be particularly dangerous. 99% of the time I also experience first night ferals that tend to take the form of the harder zombies to kill, like the tourist. Survivin' aint easy!
  10. That is a very specific concept within the Survival-Horror genre that vanilla 7 Days to Die flies away from when you consider the Tower Defense aspect of the game. But, you CAN do a lot of things to trim your game to clip it towards scarcity. I'd also split hairs with you about scarcity in games like Fallout 4. I've never felt threatened for gear in F4, like.. ever.
  11. Two words. Learning Curve. This isn't Skyrim. You actually have to think about stuff. Welcome to the forum, btw.
  12. Quick add note I would be recommend being careful about how folks might balance these settings out. If you manage to find a proper balance of resource gathering/time/XP then the game can be quite rewarding. If those are out of balance you'll find out quickly what it is you wish you have more of.
  13. Do you have a moment to speak about our lord and saviour, Punctuation?
  14. *visibly confused by OP* Admittedly, I'm not the sort of person that uses the phrase 'Git gud scrub', but.... If it hasn't reached your brain yet, you're playing on one of the easiest modes. There is not logical comparison to the difficulty of this game and Dark Souls. It's not even in the same arena.
  15. POI's Id like to see made or revamped. (Not in any particular order) 1. Destroyed Trader Camp. Or, revamp the survival camp and destroy one whole wall so it reflects how badly it was constructed in the first place. 2. Revamp the Large Junkyards. A lot of too open space for what's in there. Give it a scavenger quest-like scenario. 3. A small crater with half an airplane smashed into it. Lots of debris. Fill it full of snakes if you like. 4. Someone mentioned a water park. That sounds lovely. 5. Nature Center. A wilderness POI that actually makes sense. 6. Revamp the Cop Shop. Make it pop. 7. Condemned Blockbuster, for nostalgia reasons. 8. Jebidiah Springfield Monument. (or maybe the Duke.) 9. Miniature Golf Course. For the lulz. 10. Commercial Coffee joint. Because someone overlooked the fact they exist everywhere in form form or another.
  16. I sometimes mix it up. I also alter and toggle other details about the game to suit the difficulty of the genre I'm attempting to emulate.
  17. I hope you're sitting down because I happen to know for a fact that Salmon flavoured Ice Cream *exists*.
  18. I assumed this meant other players. PVP does exist in this game.
  19. My biggest pet peeve that surrounds this game are all the console players that continuously saltpost on twitter, meanwhile the console updates have been posted/linked time and time again, often directly to their posts. Somehow It just still bounces off their head, and all I can think about is this scene from The Water Boy.
  20. Cheese. Something that humans have been crafting since way way way before refrigeration technology. I think the Tuna Fish Gravy Toast was a contest winner recipe. The real missed opportunity was Spam and Eggs.
  21. I remember my first Discord group I played 7 Days with back during 16.4. I met these guys on a fairly new MP map while crossing a massive desert. We died so many times trying to find Yucca because a group in the area had already taken most of it. We ended up linking up with this group, and got invited to their 'guild'. It was actually neat to meet people in game that didn't want to kill us, and they opened up and shared food and then we did our first horde night and got attacked by a rival nearby group that started to rocket our prison base AT THE SAME TIME. Omg, my gear was so substandard, and I had so little experience with PVP in this game. That fight was insane. I also really do pine again back to the days of Valmod. The Bolt Rifle was literally my Excalibur.
  22. I think that Archery could use some love. I also think that while Shotguns should be able to blast through doors, I don't like the idea of shotguns completely destroying wooden POI's. I also dont particularly care for the concept of bone shivs. I realize they are a staple, but Scrap Shivs are a bit more logical to me. They could be just as easy to throw together with a little bit of basic iron scrap + cloth.
  23. Chapter 13: The fragile nature of Console Players. A brief Treatise on the efficacy of the Mute Button on Twitter.
