from my experience in the military way back in the day the bunks were metal with spring bands under a cotton/hard foam mattress. so i will have to go with... this is not an oversight as the mattresses and bunks do favor military styling. only ours did not have ladders nor rails.

sorry... i would like to help but you are talking to probably the only QA Tester who doesnt like to do quests.. i tested them when it was called for but in game play... i dont mess with them or treasure hunts and such... i am an old fool who just walks around killing zombies the old fashion way.. club, bow and an occasional pistol when found. i dont even mess with vehicles. and YES, i do enjoy my game very much or i wouldnt be playing it.

i xml that note out... but the lcb i keep until i have made the campfire for the starter quest, i then place it down to pick up my campfire and then delete/destroy it. then i move on to find a temp base and set campfire down... i motivate a lot when by myself.

but i want to see the stagger involved.... no wait ... wrong game... sorry

while i see your point. if we took it out then there will be fights from the pvp side saying we dont care about pvp and wanting to know why it was remove...something like that is best left to the modders as it would affect the players who want it or dont. so, we leave some things in... we have to TRY to appease everyone and it is very difficult. also its just as easy to drop it by the player instead if they didnt want it in any slots. similar to the dukes note... atm really serves very little purpose (just a little story in it), but who knows what is in store for it later.

not gonna quote the discussion but... the talks was first brought forward about the abundance of water then the dew collector discussion started up and then all the ramifications were mentioned including the forum outrage over something simple. ooops i was thinking out loud again.
