  1. Sure, just subscribe to my only fans for it. Lol but yeah, that demonstration should provide enough information to utilize. It would be the same thing through any encounter with enough preparation. Maybe though, but I am rather busy atm so may be a while yet Yup lol, hence the part where I said it sometimes requires nerves of steel
  2. For a start we are talking about adding a longer timer for scrapping higher value items, and yeah something like a popup may come about too.
  3. Well I wouldn't have gotten killed if I wasn't demonstrating the breadcrumb style and actually playing for real lol, so that's rather false I was wearing no armor and didn't have any meds or anything either: p
  4. Unfortunately, I've seen server providers push their own version of configuration files, overruling any changes to it, so you may want to contact them again with the correct config and ask them to update it.
  5. Excellent! Thanks for letting me know, that was a new thing that was added as a hail-mary to fix some networking issues users have been having with poor connections. It's great to hear feedback about it, whether it works or doesn't.
  6. It's an unfortunate case, less than 1% of games support it outside of xbox/Playstation. As far as I understand it, it's not an easy task and not many people are restricted to ivp6 only. I'll ask the network dev about it, but ivp6 is many years away from being adopted widely.
  7. Chug some coffee and red tea, have a bite to eat and your stamina will be better while mining. And yes miner 69r is the perk that decreases stamina usage - it says it in the localization. If it doesn't, you may have a mod issue or something similar, reverify your game files a couple of times
  8. This is one major reason behind our decision to remove them. We would have had to remove them from a ton of loot tables, because with all the lootables we can loot, a tiny chance becomes a higher chance because 200 rolls at like 5% still nets quite a bit, then you have the return of a jar after drinking. There are some good points, but wanted to point out why we did that and some of the thought process behind it.in fact, we tried several iterations of lowering where jars/water would spawn, rarities, it just always equated to having a mass of water by day 7. Honestly, a lot of players actually didn't keep jars often and kept throwing them away, it was inventory clutter.
  9. 🤣 think @SnowDog1942would enjoy this writing. 10/10. Interesting thoughts, jokes aside. In a lot of areas, stealth is really overpowered but in others, it's a little confusing. Certainly something to consider polishing up with other systems before gold.
  10. QA team, we help out the devs/hunt bugs and fixes for them/help with balancing and whatnot. Here's my signature: Jugginator
  11. Hit Shift+F6 and use the POI reset option.
  12. Yeah, this game passes a LOT of data that needs to be mostly clean to function properly -- it doesn't like wifi very much. You can try using the Network Workaround, but likely won't do too much. If you really must use wifi, you can try getting a powerful adapter (dual antenna, can pick one up between 30 - 50$ depending), but ethernet is the way to go. Don't forget to add firewall/antivirus exceptions.
  13. Use the launcher to open game settings, and delete the registry folder there:
  14. Nice! Sounds like a fun idea. If you're seeing warnings related to your modding, then yeah likely something went wrong a bit and I'd look into it. If you look in the log file, you'll see more details if there are more to be presented than what's in the console.
  15. You're welcome, glad to help. It is a bit of a tricky skill to learn given the nature of this gigantic, open-world, destructible game we have. That mistake was I went into that corner while the zombies had already seen me go there, so the stealthing didn't matter. I would have had to run past them, cut a left by the furniture there and stealthed behind that to break the line of sight. Breaking the line of sight is also a major key.
  16. Yeah WRN usually doesn't mean anything of harm, when you see ERR usually something bad happened, but it doesn't always mean everything has broken.
  17. You're welcome! Sorry about that, should be fixed in the soon-future. Glad that helped
  18. Here ya go. I was lazy and just kinda showing how the breadcrumb works and just used god mode to clear out debuffs at that one point, I made an effort to show how that system works with stealth toying with the zombies a bit. But, as you can see, it does indeed work. You just can't go crouch and expect the zombies to lose you in these cases. IMO stealth is almost at the point of being broken and needing a nerf.
  19. Yeah the crits thing is a whole different thing of course, but it's been worked on and should be fixed in a future A21 patch.
  20. Ah good catch on God mode, I was testing a few other things out and decided to do that real quick. But no, God mode doesn't affect that either way, it works the same. Just checked again to be sure, had that game loaded up still. And yes, if the lighting conditions are right you can have them lose sight of you by going stealth and moving a foot or two to the side and being still. You'll get the same result
  21. Focus on my movement very carefully, when I entered the other room (how I made noise hitting the door, the pause before stealth-jumping over to the other side), the key is to get them to place the breadcrumb trail to where you want them to be before hiding and moving away. If you stealth with them sensing you, it won't do you very much good since you're still leaving breadcrumbs behind. You don't always need to go to another room, but also not every single encounter is stealthable without being very creative. It takes a LOT of practice I admit, but it's doable. Where is that btw? coordinates, I can take a look
  22. Here's a case of this in a game, I wasn't sure where the example was but I went to a prison and did an example. Didn't feel like making a gif out of it sorry (and usually my gifs come out low quality lol), I ended the video a bit too short so I took another quick shot of me sitting there in stealth with a pile of zombies in front of my face and they didn't see me. Eventually, they would have wandered away. First: Second: Stealth is possible in these cases, you just have to work a little bit with some clever tactics
  23. Checked it out on a server too, No Killing doesn't net any glass eating damage. If you can figure out why you're getting some, I'd be curious.
  24. There's something this example is missing: the breadcrumb trail (so it's called, good description anyway). So, if you just stand there like that then yes you'll be busted. What you'd need to do in that case is fallback to a room away from them, going back into sneak mode before you hit the corner and break line of sight, then shimmy your way into a dark spot and be still. They will likely still home into the last spot they saw you at (likely the doorway), but if you've done it correctly they should lose you. You just need enough time to hit the counter for them to lose track of you. There have been cases on some places where I just move a few feet away while stealthed and stand there and they lose track. Stealth was never meant to be a "press crouch to be invisible", it would defeat any difficulty the game has.
